Hi ladies! I'm a name lover at heart and am always interested in your opinions. DD is Isabelle Therese. She goes by both Izzie and Belle. We have a hard K, one syllable, very German last name. We prefer multisyllabic names and names that have NNs.
With our second on the way, we're attempting to brainstorm a list of names we can bring to the delivery room.
Boy names are difficult for us, so I'll say DH likes Logan, which I absolutely do not. I like traditional names and would be happy with a Michael, Theodore, etc. HeDH does not like either of those names. We can agree on Zachary, but also prefer other options. Middle name options include Adam, Daniel, Patrick, or Francis, but open to others.
Girl names are easier. We have a top two currently: Penelope and Emilia. Both of these I'd probably pair with a one syllable middle name.
I really like Theodore with the NN Theo. Zachary would be second for me but a good compromise if you DH would be on board. Theodore Adam Theodore Francis Zachary Daniel Zachary Francis
My pick would be Penelope with the NN Penny.
Suggesting:
Matthew (Matt, Matty) Benjamin (Ben, Benji) Samuel (Sam) Jacob (Coby, Jake) Alexander (Alex, Xander)
Isabelle Therese is such a French name-- I think it would make more sense to choose another girl name that is similar in that way. Penelope is so obviously Greek in origin and Emilia is more Italian/Spanish. How about:
