It seems kind of AWish to be the first to comment but here we go... Lol I just finished this sign and I am in love with it. I'm also working to refinish a hutch that I'm really excited about.
I am still working on the same sewing projects... getting the house ready for baby has put some serious crimp on my crafting time. That sign is so cool, @GraysonsMama! I love the colors.
Very cool, @GraysonsMama, I really like the colors, very serene.
Sooo this is a little different, but my Dad buried his dog of 15 years this week. I think I'm going to make him a little headstone. Also I bought some wood so I want to try the 5 foot "Welcome" sign for the front porch, however I have no desire to go outside and stain right now.
My sewing machine doesn't really have a spot so I have to move it, sew and then move it back. Lately that has proved too much effort. Although I need to crack it out before Girl Scouts starts again because I need to get like 5 patches sewed on.
Mostly baby stuff- lots of knitting! This will be a double ni d'ange when I put the finishing touches on it. It will also work as a carseat/stroller blanket for one of the girls when they get older. (I'll have to make another in the meantime!)
Also putting together my DIY take on these cute hats and planning to make matching bunny booties.
Oh wow, you're all so crafty! Loving the quilts @tamaraaaa! I need one of those bunny hats @jennasaisquoi, they're just too adorable!
I'm not super crafty, but just bought supplies (fabric, ribbons etc.) to pimp some (cardboard) boxes that we'll use to store baby stuff. I'll get started on those this weekend.
Love those quilts @tamaraaaa ! You must have an awesome machine to do the mickey stitching. I've been working on knitting a blanket and bought some fabric to sew another one, but they're not complete yet. Hopefully I'll have pics to post soon.

I have a superrrrrr big quilting machine, and do quilting professionally. It's always been for fun, but with the baby I'm trying to pick up business so I can stay home for awhile and still make some money. Mostly I quilt for people and finish their stuff, but do my own kid name quilts on the side.
When I say big, it's 16 feet long and takes up an entire garage. The problem with this week is that it's 110 degrees which makes a converted garage unbearable.
I don't have any photos of the blankets, crib sheets, or burp cloths, but I did make a screen door for the nursery from scratch! Pretty proud of it actually, I've made doors before and getting them to actually fit is way harder than you'd think! Haha.

@tamaraaaa those quilts are beautiful! @jennasaisquoi you are a very talented knitter. The extent to of my talent/patience are some simple baby blankets with maybe a seed stitch or ribbing... @PoeMasque I love the door! it turned out great

I'm making some baby sleep sacks. The pattern I bought via etsy seemed professional enough but I have already found TWO significant errors that wasted my time and money. I've emailed the shop. They're gonna need to refund me or get a really crappy review. Anyway, hopefully I can get some cute sleep sacks finished once my mood improves.
@kvacmak we have two cats who already think the crib is a great place to sleep, but we have ductless heating/cooling, so the room is way too hot or cold with the door shut all the time. I found the idea on Pinterest and loved it, so gave it a go.

DH constructed this Mobile from our design. It spins and plays my late mother's favorite lullaby. It is inspired by the book The Night Circus which is our favorite.
Designed this fabric for baby's quilt. Totally cheating, but chasing around 2 kids and having time to quilt the way I'd like, isn't happening. But so excited with how the fabric printed.
@greysonsmom619 that lools beautiful. @tamaraaaa I wish I had that ability to quilt that well. Those are amazing!

It isn't cheap, but compared to putting squares together, it saved a ton of time.
