  • Introduce yourself and anything you think is important: number of loss(es), when you had the loss(es), diagnosis / conditions surrounding loss, etc. TFAS, 1st mc happened June 5 (dx blighted ovum), and 2nd mc happened August 17 (dx CP)

    Status: TWW

How are things going? What is something that you are struggling with this week? What is going well for you this week? R/R? Things are going better now than they have been the last couple of weeks. I think it really helps that work is picking up and so are my weekends. I don't do well when there's lots not a lot to look forward too.

Any testing coming up/any recent results? Not this week.

GTKY: If you could be any animal for a day, what would you be? I would like to be a cat.

Emotionally, I am doing good this week, just focusing on doing things I can't do if pregnant, like weight loss, and getting back to running (which hopefully I can do pregnant, but I felt too crappy last time)
Any testing coming up/any recent results?
I had a chest x-ray today.  We aren't super concerned the molar is causing issues, but I have had a cough I can't kick even with a round of Prednisone, so better to be safe.  I don't have another HCG until Monday.
GTKY:   If you could be any animal for a day, what would you be?
Probably a cat too, they seem so content and carefree.
@ChloandCoco, I think being busy is helping me too, the first few weeks we had nothing going on so I was just sitting around being miserable.
  • @holly321 Hopefully your x-ray results come back clean and you just need another round of antibiotics to kick your cough. It's good that you are feeling emotionally better this week.
  • @ChloandCoco I'm glad distraction is helping. It definitely makes it easier to look forward when you have something to look forward to.
@holly321 How did the chest x-ray go?
Introduce yourself and anything you think is important: number of loss(es), when you had the loss(es) , diagnosis / conditions surrounding loss, etc. Trying for first, MMC in mid June (blighted ovum), CP in August.

How are things going? What is something that you are struggling with this week? What is going well for you this week? R/R?
Things are going ok right now. There have been a lot of pregnancy announcements going on around me lately and meanwhile we have been doing all this testing and will likely come up with no solution other than to keep trying to improve egg quality. I have really high hopes for this cycle, which could end up really disappointing.
Any testing coming up/any recent results? We have most of our tests back from the RE and it doesn't seem like there will be an explanation. Genetic tests were good on both sides, all negative on possible auto immune and such, AFC was 11 and AMH was 1.93. Don't know the CD3 bw results but unless I have really high FSH seems like my ovarian reserve is ok for my age. We have a follow-up next week with the RE to go over the tests but so far the only thing that has been noted is a slight Vitamin D insufficiency, so I started taking vitamin D.
GTKY:   If you could be any animal for a day, what would you be? For one day I'd say a bird, just to experience flight.
  • @zamora_spin, still waiting on that thanks for asking.  I am sorry you didn't get any answers as to why, but good luck with your appointment next week.

Update, this morning I started bleeding horribly and had to see my OB, he apparently was going to call because apparently the hospital sent my pathology out again and they are very concerned it is cancerous.  He said all my other tests look great and did another HCG draw.  Pending what the results are, he is possibly sending me to an oncologist for 2nd opinion.  Honestly, even worse case scenario, there is an almost 100% cure rate and retained fertility, so it just is a giant PITA.
  • @holly321 I'm so sorry you got these results. When will you get the results from the HCG draw?

@zamora_spin It's so frustrating when test results come back normal and there's nothing to fix. Hopefully the increase in your vitamin D will help.
  • How are things going? What is something that you are struggling with this week? What is going well for you this week? R/R? Just got back from vacation. Spending a few days with my family, and then will be home and back to normal routines next week.

Any testing coming up/any recent results? Plan to call the doctor next week to see about scheduling the progesterone biopsy. I want to get off of the bench!

GTKY:   If you could be any animal for a day, what would you be? Probably like a hawk or something. I also would like to experience flight and keen eyesight.

zamora_spin Sorry for all of the PG announcements, especially if they’ve found no solutions for you so far. That’s super frustrating.

holly321  I’m so sorry. Having to go through everything involving a molar PG is just an additional PITA hit on an already miserable time.

  • @dpjennifer, hope you get the results you want and unbenched!

Update on me, the doctor called earlier, the pregnancy did turn cancerous and I start chemo on Monday.  Fortunately, fertility is almost always retained.
  • @holly321 I am so sorry. How scary. How long will you have to be in treatment? Are you with your hubs so you can get hugs and support?
  • @holly321 I’m so sorry hugs and prayers your way

  • Thanks ladies.  I am handling this pretty well, honestly, I am just frustrating that it means it is going to be many more months before we can TTC.  It is really treatable, so it's just a PITA.   @spottedginger DH is stuck at work, his assistant is out.  He is miserable, honestly I am handling it 10x better than he is.
  • @holly321, (((hugs))), I'm sorry you have to go through this, but glad to hear you're keeping your spirits up and that the outcome sounds good.

  • @holly321 I'm so sorry to hear that. That must be both scary and frustrating. It's good to hear that the prognosis is good. You are so strong. Hugs.
  • @holly321 I'm so sorry to hear that. It's good that you are doing good, and that it's treatable. **creepy internet hugs**

  • @holly321 Sorry to hear that your molar became cancerous :(. The delay in TTC sounds frustrating, on top of everything else.

@zamora_spin The testing coming back normal is such a double edged sword! It's good that things are normal, but is so unsatisfying, because it doesn't get you any closer to an answer!

I wanted to say thanks to everyone from last month's thread. You ladies are great! It was so awesome to have people to share with that "get it".

Introduce yourself and anything you think is important: number of loss(es), when you had the loss(es) , diagnosis / conditions surrounding loss, etc.
Status: Loss at 6 weeks sept 23rd, no dx

How are things going? What is something that you are struggling with this week? What is going well for you this week? R/R?
This week we're going to start trying again. I finally got a negative on a home pregnancy test, so I'm back to OPKs and temping. The staff surgeon I was working with this week asked me if I was pregnant (not relevant to anything we were doing)... I get points for not loosing the plot with him. He was joking, and to be fair, I've gotten asked this twice a month for the last 4 years.... but this time it bothered me.

Any testing coming up/any recent results? Nothing.

GTKY:   If you could be any animal for a day, what would you be? I'd be a duck.
