I'll start. WTF to my dumb ass coworker who is CONSTANTLY asking me about GD because she is so sure I will get it. I said something about my ankles looking fat and she starts freaking out telling me I need to talk to my dr because swelling isn't normal in pregnancy....**eye roll**

WTF to the asshole who owned this house before me. He was really into DIY projects, but did all of them WRONG. We're now up to our eyeballs in fixing all of his mistakes so that we can have a functional electrical and plumbing system. I hate this guy. I fantasize about writing him a really mean letter and making him feel super bad. Winning Wednesday is that this nonsense hasn't delayed my kitchen remodel at all, and it should be done by next weekend. Hurray!
Winning: my office made goal this year which means we get a bonus! It's not a big one, but it's a good chunk of dough I can put towards the debt on my credit card, which I'm aiming to clear before daycare starts in March. I'm not putting daycare on my card or anything, but I just want one less bill to pay, so this will be nice to have it all cleared.

WTF to my coworker who said the Rhogam shot probably doesn't do anything and is just a way to charge you for more stuff. Okay, conspiracy theorist. I'll gladly take the most awkward shot I've ever had in my lifetime and pay whatever minuscule fee I owe after insurance to make sure my weird negative blood doesn't turn on my baby, thanks.
Wtf goes to DH for saying doulas are stupid when I really had my heart set on one. Now I have to go through all the effort of convincing him it's a good idea in addition to finding/vetting/interviewing/picking a doula... ugh.
Winning for the nurse who overhead DH tease me about having to get my flu shot at this morning's OB appointment, who came back 5min later with an approval from DH's primary (she's upstairs in the same building) and HIS FLU SHOT. Hah. Sore arms for everyone.
@MJDsquared uhhh...what? Did they never learn about blood typea/coagulation in high school biology?
WTF goes out to my anemia which is kicking my ass today. Can't freaking breathe and can barely stand up without feeling like I'm going to pass out.
Winning: I started getting Christmas gifts that I've ordered today, and I have new cleaning supplies that I ordered coming tomorrow (yes, the nesting urge is strong this time.)
WTF #2 to DD, who l, as I typed this, dumped 3/4 of a box of cheerios on the floor. You are a toddler, how did you get them off the counter?!?!?!
WTF to my MIL for pulling my mom aside and telling her that it is "really important for daughters to have their mothers nearby when they give birth." My mom could not have her mom with her for any of her kids' births. THANKS FOR BRINGING IT UP. ITS TOTALLY YOUR BUSINESS AND NOT AT ALL PAINFUL TO TALK ABOUT.
WTF to the HUGE GROSS BRUISE that my flu shot gave me. I was all preoccupied about the Tdap arm getting sore, but instead I have a freak wound on my flu shot arm! It's like some capillaries busted but the bandaid was on so tight, it kept the blood from going anywhere? As in, it's a bruise that is a straight line on one side. That's a new one for sure.
Edit: ugh. I can't figure out how to do the spoiler

Wtf to the person who honked at me in the elementary school parking lot. Sorry I wasn't moving, I didn't want to run over the small children directly in front of my car! Asswipe.
WTF to my inlaws. They wanted to get a carseat for DD (16 months) to keep in their car for when they are watching her and want to do stuff. I think that's a great idea. I sent them a list of really affordable convertible seats. They got a not convertible, forward facing seat for her. Am I terrible for saying I won't allow her to ride in that until she's at least two?
Winning: My nesting urges convinced me to super clean my house today. It's so nice and sparkly and fresh in here. For like, ten minutes until the dog, cat, or toddler ruin it.
@kaylawing I would just flat out tell them that LO can't ride in it for another 8 months. If they recently bought it, they should be able to exchange it for one that you're comfortable with, assuming they bought it from one of the usually stores/websites
@kaylawing UGHHHH. INLAWS. CAR SEATS. WHYYYY. solidarity. i would absolutely put my foot down about being two to forward-face, but you're talking to someone who's three-year-old is still rear-facing. my in-laws did this same EXACT thing. and they also never tighten the straps enough or place the chest buckle properly because "it would be too tight to be comfortable."
LOOK, PEOPLE, it's not about comfort. it's about safety. if you're telling me you'd rather my son face forward because it's "more fun for him" and have a loose buckle because "it's more comfortable for him" then i'm telling YOU that your priorities are totally screwed up.
i've had a few sobbing meltdowns over this with my husband. luckily the occasions when my son rides in their car are somewhat rare.

Thanks @anewadventure@ktcakes87 and @Skcobb. I was planning to tell them no, but I want to make sure I wasn’t being crazy Mom. The whole thing is just making me rethink her being in the car with them now. I want to check the install of the (approved, rear facing) car seat and give a demo on how to strap her in.
@kaylawing you may also want to check your state law. Many are updating the law to be in line with AAP recommendations. (rearfacing til 2) Not that you are wrong for demanding it. But sometimes it's nice to spread the blame around

Oh hell no! I told my in laws that they had to have a rear facing one. Dd is 26 months and will rf til 3. They did it but they have no idea how to install it so o always have to go do it for them. Kinda defeats the purpose.
@kaylawing I would totally argue that with them. DS1 Stayed RF to 3.5 and I would have kept him longer but lost the argument with DH who is the only one who can figure out how to get the car seat back in my car lol. LO's bone structure is the reason theybrecommend RF to age 2 now - much safer to be RF in a crash for their spines. Def something I would push them on so younare totally in the right
@kaylawing ughh that's so awkward. I would just tell them that the car seat is awesome but she can't ride in it until she's 2.. before then she has to be in a rear-facing car seat.
My ILs were also hell bent on buying us the car seat, except not the great, safe, and affordable one I registered for. They already have a car seat track in their car for their other grandchildren, so they wanted me to register for the car seat that fits the track. That's fine, except the car seat is a super expensive one. My SIL was the first to have children and she is a firm believer in expensive price=best quality, so she was basically the influence behind this seat. That's fine (since ILs are buying), but then of course it changes other items in my registry such as the stroller - which is wayyy more expensive than the one I had on there. The stroller is great but it also requires a few accessories, all of which are pricey and things I now need to add to the registry. I know I sound like a brat complaining about my fancy new car seat but I really liked what I had registered for originally and was comfortable with what stuff cost and what they were rated. Now I feel like I look like a diva registering for expensive stuff I didn't want in the first place.

That reminds me, I need to check the expiration date on the car seat my MIL already has. I'm not sure which grandkid she started using it for, which means it's either about 4-5 years old, or... 8 years old
@peachy13 check into getting a converter for the travel system you want! That way, you have the higher-end carseat and base, but you can get something like a Graco or Evenflo stroller and just use the converter to connect the carseat. Not every brand has them, but a lot of them do.
