momac1919 - Hi! I live in a Columbus suburb and work downtown! My DD will be 15 months on Friday!
I'm due 6/9 with my 2nd - I've been lurking but am still an active participant in my July 2016 board. I didn't actually join that board until I went back to work after maternity leave. It is a nice small super supportive non-snarky group now and it is fantastic!
Cautiously joining. I got my BFP on Friday, 9/29. I never expected a line to show up that early because my period isn't due until the 7th. I have tested probably a zillion times since and each time there is a line and each day it shows up sooner and is darker! Based on the calculators, this puts my EDD around 6/14. I have two other kids - my DD is 2 and DS is 5. I am excited, but still a bit nervous. I experienced an early loss between DS and DD and we all know how that screws with your head! I am 34, will be 35 when I deliver, which I guess technically makes me old. My DH is 36 and will be 37 when LO arrives. Guess that about sums it up - hello!
Hello, An excited FTM here. I got my BFP this morning which puts my EDD at June 13. Last month I had a CP and was sure I was pregnant and really bummed when I wasn't because I was sure I was feeling symptoms. But this month I felt nothing at all and only took a test on a whim. So happy I did. DH and I have been married 5 months now and I am 20 and he is 21. Looking forward to a long and healthy 9 months with all of you.
boymama29 - it is a wonderful group of very chill mommas now! I'm more nervous about this one than the first with learning to balance a 23 month old and newborn...
I got my BFP this morning which puts my EDD at June 12 based on LMP. I actually tested last week and got a faint positive but I wanted to wait until my period was late to test and get a dark pregnancy test to make it official (I was crossing my fingers). DH and I have been married 4 years and have a 3 year old boy born April 2014 (I was part of May 2014 group). I am 30 years old, live in Iowa and am ready for this exciting journey as a family of 4.
Hey everyone! I haven’t been on here since my son was born December 2014, it’s nice to be back! BFP last Friday 9/29, but I took 7 between Friday and Saturday because I was convinced I was imagining the super faint lines. The digital test convinced me. EDD 6/7 based on LMP. I’m a slacker and haven’t called the doctor yet. That’s on my to do list for tomorrow.
DH: 29 years old. Me: 25 years old. DS: born 12/30/14 Baby #2 due 6/8/18
@momac1919@kmurdock925 I lived in Bexley until two years ago, we moved up to Sandusky a few months before DS was born to be closer to family. I’m so jealous of you guys and all of your food choices!
@kmurdock925 which suburb? My DD will be 17 months on Friday! @napqueen I'm appreciative of those food choices right now bc I've been ravenous the last 2 days. My DH brought me home Der Dutchman pumpkin cookies today and they were amazing
Hello! Finally got the green light to post here! I am 5 weeks today. Due June 6th according to my LMP. Just scheduled a doctors appointment with a new doctor on October 19, a little nervous! Any idea what I can expect from a Week 7 intro? No ultrasound just yet, right? I live in Queens NY with my hubby and 2 cats, I work in Manhattan and I grew up in CT! Excited to meet and learn from you gals!!! Xxx
Hello and congratulations to everyone! I am cautiously excited to be here! I got my BFP today at 10DPO. I definitely worry that I am jumping the gun by posting already, but I am too excited! My due date according to my LMP is June 12th, but I am going by my O-date due date of June 17th. I have a 2 year old daughter and I am an elementary school teacher. Looking forward to getting to know everyone - here we go!
Hi June mommies! I’m a 33 FTM and since this is my first pregnancy every twinge and pull has me a little nervous. I don’t know what to expect or if it’s normal. I estimate this little bun is due on June 9th based on my last cycle. I’m new to TB and am still trying to figure out all the acronyms. I joined since I could use some help... okay, a lot of help, I don’t even know where to start to get ready for a bundle of joy to arrive but... I have a few months to figure it out. Sending you all the good healthy baby vibes.
I am a first time parent. I got my BFP tuesday night at 4dp5dt of two frozen blastocysts. PGS tested. I've never been pregnant and it is so exciting seeing positive results on the tests. Very light pink spotting today and mild cramping. I am due june 16th but if there are two ill be at term May 26th. I am a psych nurse practitioner, live in southern cali with my pup and my spouse. My family is mostly east coast. I have a wonderful, supportive chosen family here though. This was our first FET. We still have 4 frozen embryos. I am 34 and my spouse is 36. We tried IUI 3x but i have endometriosis, hashimotos thyroiditis, and PCOS and so now im on a few meds to sustain my pregnancy. We havent told anyone yet because our beta is Monday to confirm.
Second time mom here. Got my BFP shockingly over this past weekend and confirmed by betas this week. Had my rainbow baby boy via IUI so this is coming as quite the shock to us. EDD June 12th or 13th
@Miz_Liz Old? Lol. I'm 37 and will be 38 when I deliver. My DH is 42 and will be 43 by then. Guess that makes me a dinosaur. Hee hee. I'm probably the oldest mom to be in this group come to think of it. I understand what you mean about cautiously optimistic as well!
@kmurdock925 so far our group has been really great and non snark too. Such a relief for sure. I've noticed the only snarky comments came from lurkers who weren't even part of this birth month, which was odd to me that they pop up in a club that they aren't actually part of, but this is my first time on the Bump.. So maybe that's normal? Hopefully we can keep it snark free from here on out because it's super important to just be happy and patient and kind to everyone. Since we're all in this together and hormonal and anxious for a great outcome.
Snark is gonna happen. That's how these board work, the bump is much more honest than other forums. This place is valuable resource and if you aren't truthful and fact based, it's not helpful to anyone.
*dirty lurker* Anyone who can't handle the truth always says people are being snarky.
@Dashaina - Also, TB is a public forum; it's normal for people from one board to lurk another and post if they have something to contribute. Usually it's because those of us that started on TTGP love our fellow TTGP grads and like to stalk follow them once they get KU. ETA: tag
@Dashaina like she said, it's normal. Posting truth and scientific fact isn't snark but snide comments like "being pregnant 86 times" are. I personally didn't like this last time I was on TB and I still think it's unnecessary. What's fine is correcting someone's misinformation in a nice way.
So, even though I find this side of TB less than appealing, I'll stick around because I know that outside of the snark and inevitable drama, there's a great group of supportive women to be found.
The lurkers don't bother me. Lurk if you want! I welcome good, helpful information but the rude comments I can do without.
@sabby2 yes I completely agree with you. I was also referring to the snark comments not the scientific comments. I think, too, that offering the correct information in the appropriate thread or a PM is a great thing! It's when it went on for several replies adding their snarky unhelpful add ins. And I am sure we know the ones that were not helpful and unnecessary. I also think instead of taking over a post intended to be an introduction post instead of starting a new thread, and then tagging ladies who it applies to would have been more appropriate. That way all the ladies would be able to refer back to it easily and the introductions would remain introductions. Does that make sense? I was imply suggesting that maybe we should start a thread to keep that discussion in an easier to find place.
I also think it's interesting that my comment was immediately taken to mean that I was talking about the entire conversation. I was most definitely only talking about the actual not helpful posts.
@Dashaina 1) I honestly don't understand what you find snarky nor what your theoretical problem with snarky comments is. 2) Why do you want to go to bat for the person who is at best perpetuating false information or at worst outright lying instead of the ladies who are sharing science-based facts?
@doxiemoxie2 I am sorry I can't seem to explain myself really well. Between the not sleeping and having to homeschooling 2 children all day and the hormones... I'm probably just misunderstanding the entire exchange. I mean that genuinely. So apologies for misunderstanding and speaking in any way that was confusing or causing any conflict.
Now that I'm officially 4 weeks pregnant, I thought I'd introduce myself. I'm Brittany, 2 kids, 4yo girl and 2yo boy. Got my bfp Sunday. Due June 14th, if baby sticks. I had one very early mc previously, so I'm trying to balance between excitement and not get my hopes up. I'm an Army wife, a writer (doing NaNoWriMo again this year!) and a baker. Hope I get to stick around!
momac1919 - I live in Grove City! Hubs is from Hilliard. I'm from Cinci originally. Lived in STL for 2 years while I was a flight attendant, transferred to CMH and still flew for about a year then settled down here and now work downtown.

I don't think it's so much going to bat for misinformation but making sure the OP isn't treated like she's stupid for not knowing. I have seen so many people completely misunderstand information given to them by a doctor or nurse. The trick isnt being rude but rephrasing in a way they understand.
@kmurdock925 I'm in Lewis Center, I work out in marysville and DH is in Westerville. DH is from Dublin. I'm from Chicago, went to school and grad school in Milwaukee, did a clinical rotation in Cincy which is where I met my hubby and we settled down out here about 6 years ago
@momac1919 - awesome! my OB is in Westerville. Do you ever go to Giammarcos? When I first moved to cbus I lived in Little Turtle and ate there all the time, now it is a hike but ooh so worth it. My ob is literally right down the road so I try to make a point to swing by. All the Pizza Dough Pillows....yuuummmm
Hello! Just joined and the last 72 hours until I was allowed to post felt like forever. Hello from over the pond in London, England! FTM at 27. Got my BFP on 30th Sept and finding it hard to contain my excitement so far. Hubby crazy excited too. Trying to keep it in perspective as still early days... looking forward to the journey.
Hello!! STM here...my sweet little boy is my whole world and turned 2 in July. We live in Canada, DH will be 39 in December and I'm 41. We've been TTC since last Christmas and finally got our BFP last Saturday! EDD is June 11. We are so excited to be adding to our family. I'm still super close with my AUG15 Bump group and I'm looking forward to getting to know you ladies as well.
Hello everyone! I got a great bloodwork result today, after a FET on Sept 27! EDD June 14. So glad to be here. @Dashaina I am most likely going to be one of the most "geriatric" moms on here, as I am 42 yo. Hooray!
We are IVF vetrans over here, with a lovely DD who turned 2 in September. I was previously a member of the Oct2015 Board.
@MissKittyDanger I am also a Canadian mama, and DH, DD and I just moved in July. We also have 2 dogs, and one kitten.
Mama to a wonderful DD - Sep 2015, Wife to my DH since 2011, 2 dogs, a cat, and hoping to add No. 2 in May/June 2018. Canadian. 5 - IUIs, 3 - IVF retrievals, 2- failed transfers (fresh, and frozen), PGS on second IVF resulted in 1 perfect emby, and DD. 3rd IVF w PGS resulted in 3! perfect embys. 1st transfer - Sep 2017 2 more on ice.
@rnielsen321 Yay! Another "Geriatric" mom! I feel like we should start a thread now. Lmao. I am really happy you're here too. Congratulations and welcome.
