Reading through some of the other threads and some of the STM stories of funny things that happened to them while pregnant made me think we should start a thread on some of the sillier things that happened to you during a previous pregnancy.
Here's one of mine:
After each visit the receptionist would hand me a new pee cup and paper bag to transport for my next appointment. One appointment I was running a little late so quickly captured my "sample" jumped in the car with DH and headed to the dr.
When we got there, I jumped out of the car and he left to park. As I'm walking up the sidewalk, I am like "weird, where's that water coming from?" Yep, didn't screw the top on properly and the pee had started to soak through the bag and was leaking onto the sidewalk. Very nonchalantly I just swung by a trash can as I walked into the drs office and dumped it. Super embarrassing at the time but cracks me up whenever I think back on it.
Re: Funny Pregnancy Experiences?
My oldest was 2 when I was pregnant with DD2. Two year olds are total jerks, as a frame of reference for FTM's. I was 30-something weeks pregnant and everything below the belt was swollen and angry. Of course, the two year old needed to use the bathroom as soon as we got to target (she had an obsession over seeing which toilets were, as she called them, "magic potties" aka self flushing), and I decided to seize the opportunity and use the facilities myself.
First off, my daughter is commenting in her loudest toddler voice in all the other happenings going on in this busy public restroom. I thought I successfully shushed her until she belts out "MOMMY, YOUR VAGINA LOOKS UGLY - ITS YUCKY".
Thank you, my precious little cherub. Thank you so much.
I had just told my dance students that I was pregnant and as I was showing them the next exercise, one of them pipes up "Awwww, your baby is learning ballet, too!!" It was so adorable. I can't wait to tell them about this little one!

I just want to say that pregnancy brain is real. When I was 5 or 6 months pregnant with my first I met some friends downtown to go shopping. It's a small town so the parking was all along one street where we were.
I got to the restaurant first and waited for my friends. After lunch we strolled around and shopped for a few hours. When we started walking back to our cars I hear my friend say, "Oh my gosh, that white car was running with no one in it when I got here and it still is!"
Y'all.
It was my car and I left it running, unlocked, for 3 hours in the Texas heat with the AC blasting. Good thing it was a PoS car and no one wanted to steal it!
one more: when I was pregnant with my first my husband wanted to DTD and said he was nervous about "poking it." So I tried to explain that the baby was perfectly safe in a way he would understand. "Babe, it's in a world of jello... kind of like Dwight's stapler."
