**** TW: Loss Mentioned **** I took Rainbow Light last pregnancy, but ended up losing the baby at 20 weeks for unknown reasons. I'm 99% sure it had nothing to do with the prenatals, but I'm just switching everything up this time due to bad memories. **** End TW ****
@abhphilly i am taking zahler prenatal + DHA too. I compared all of the individual vitamin levels to the recommended doses and it seemed the best to me out of all the ones i researched.
That's a bummer. I was going to switch to them. Currently using Honest Co whole food based but wanted to switch because during first tri I've developed an aversion.
I'm taking garden of life right now. Not sure if I'll keep taking them cause they're huge and getting past the smell/taste is becoming difficult. Before these I was just taking target brand.
I took Nature Made with my first and Target brand with my second. I was only taking RL because someone gave me a bottle but now I think I'll go back to NM.
I took Rainbow Light Prenatals when pregnant with my son, for about a week or two. I didn't like them, and I'm not good at swallowing pills. I now take Kroger gummy prenatals.
I use labdoor.com to review vitamins and supplements. They are an independent lab that tests products to meet health standards as well as label accuracy. They test individual products, so one brand may score well for one product but not as well for another product. If they tested Rainbow Light prenatal well, then I wouldn't be too worried to finish out the bottle. I use Zahler + DHA currently.
Sorry for the big Gifs.....I have serious IBS and these were the only ones my stomach was happy with. I can also take on an empty stomach with no problem. These were the 4th ones I tried. I highly recommend.

I also have to do plant sourced DHA. I swear the fish oil messes me up!
@cassloumy I was super hesitant to do the real fish ones just because I wonder about farm raised and all the diseases that are associated....I am super paranoid about that stuff even though I know it is HIGHLY unlikely. But for me perception is reality. And, I tried the fish oil ones a few pgs ago and it was TMI- diarrhea city for me.

I forget how I found it, but this time I'm using the Zahler Prenatal + DHA 300, which has folate instead of folic acid and includes DHA, which I had been taking separately with the Rainbow Light (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01KYBETJ2/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1). I do still take a calcium supplement.
I've been taking it since about 3 months before getting pregnant, and I'm 10 weeks now...so far so good.
I take Nature’s Made prenatal that contain DHA. Same thing I took with my last pregnancy.
