Re: TWW Monday 10/02
Month/Cycle: 3/2
CD/DPO: 26/3
Timing: -5,-3,-1,0,+1
Testing: Ah....probably next Monday at the earliest depending on my chart.
Typical LP length: 12-14
Rant/Rave: SUCH a busy day today. I have a routine cardiology appointment to get fitted for a 7 day holter monitor. They're just being cautious. I have ectopic beats, which aren't dangerous, but I had a recent prolonged fast heartrate episode (150~ for an hour) proceeded by a bunch of funky ectopic beats, so they just want to check things out. Next monday I have an echo for a murmur. DH left this morning for training. He'll be gone till Thanksgiving...and I have a stupid HR test to get done. Hoping to stay super busy this TWW, and it's off to a great start in that department!
CS/Q: Nah...I'll post it tomorrow
GTKY: Blake Shelton...and because she's my super slighty-ashamed-but-not-really guilty pleasure, i'd love to see Taylor Swift in concert....haha.
@josie12367 - GL at your cardio appointment! FX that they can figure out what's going on and give you proper treatment.
Month/Cycle: 3/3
CD/DPO: 17/3
Timing: -5, -1, +1
Testing: 13/14 DPO
Typical LP length: ~14 Days
Rant/Rave: My back is killing me in just this one spot. I'm hoping it goes away soon.
CS/Q:
GTKY: Which band/artist did you first see in concert? And if you had no limitations which band/artist would you most like to see perform live?
I don't remember, to be honest. I saw Cartel when I was like 14, but before that I saw a few bands perform when I was a kid, but I don't remember who they were. I can't think of anyone right now that I'd love to see perform live, haha. Pretty much any of the artists I listen to, I'd like to see live.
Me: 30 | DH: 34 | DSS: 14 | DS: 4
PG #2, EDD 10/12/2023
Oh and I would maybe join you for Taylor Swift, but you know, only to keep you company like ;-)
Month/cycle 31/29
CD/DPO 25/12 (10dp2dt)
Timing the best (in a Petri dish!)
Testing - another BFN this morning. Latest Friday I will know for sure with the beta.
Typical LP length 14-16 (though this time with progesterone supplementation it will be not before I stop the progesterone)
Rant/Rave
Rave- I have a bridge day today. This happens when a public holiday falls on a Tuesday or Thursday, we get to have day between he holiday and the weekend as an extra day off.
Rant - DH had to go into work though.
And of course the shocking news from Vegas... we stayed at the Mandalay Bay in December when we got married in Vegas and went to a concert on the same ground. My heart goes out to everyone involved.
CS/Q Normally I would be super excited with the temps but with the BFNs and progesterone also sometimes causing higher temps I'm a little underwhelmed at the moment.
GTKY My first concert was Madonna, I was pretty young and it was when you was in her very sexually explicit phase so was not the "Immaculate Collection" kind of thing I'd been hoping for.
If I could choose any period in time I would have liked to have seen Freddie Mercury performing at the Live Aid concert in 1985. I remember watching it on TV with my father and many of the performances that day have become iconic.
My guilty pleasure concert would be Helene Fischer - she's a German "Schlager" singer, extremely popular on one hand, but also not the person you admit to being a fan of. She has really cheesy songs - but very catchy! One of her most famous is "Atemlos durch die Nacht" which literally means "breathless through the night" and although I'm very shy to speak german I have no qualms about singing it and am somewhat famous for my karaoke renditions of her songs! It's always a shocker to my colleagues when I suddenly start singing in perfect German!

CS/Q:
GTKY: Which band/artist did you first see in concert? And if you had no limitations which band/artist would you most like to see perform live?
Destiny's child! I was in college in the UK still and took my little sister!
CD/DPO: 20/5
Timing: -4, whomp whomp
Testing: Saturday because of H's bday celebrations
Typical LP length: 12
Rant/Rave: Rant & Rave: It's another super busy week over here but it means the business is doing well and we're getting to a better financial state. Rave 2.0: We have a home visit scheduled for Saturday with the Aussie rescue!
CS/Q:
GTKY: I don't remember the band. I just remember it being very loud and my mom left early because it was hurting my ears. I was probably about 5/6 and we were near the stage. One band I've been dying to see is the Tran-Siberian Orchestra.
@josie12367 I hope everything goes well at the cardiologist! Also glad to see your body O'd before your H left! Update us later on the heart stuff?
@izza2 Ugh back pain can be so distracting. Hope it goes away for you! I also saw Cartel! They were opening for another band in this hole in a wall place. They put on a great show!
@emmasemm Crossing everything for you this week! Jealous of your four day weekend. Doing anything fun?
@josie12367 I hope the cardiologist appt goes well! (Also, I'm a country music fan too, so I like Taylor & Blake).
@izza2 Hoping your back feels better! Why do you think it is hurting?
@emmasemm I know you mentioned that the progresterone affects temps, but your chart does look pretty! How are you feeling? Rooting so hard for you.
@gene_genie Sorry about the BFN.
@SkilledSailor What do you have planned for YH's birthday? Also, I'm excited for your Aussie rescue. Do you have any other pets? Do you a have a choice in the dog you adopt or does the rescue agency assign you one based on home environment/dog temperament, etc?
CD/DOO: 20/5
Timing: -3, -1, 0
Testing: next Monday. I have my annual exam, so I assume they'll test.
Typical LP length: 12-14
Rant/Rave: It's spirit week in my school for homecoming, so I get to wear jeans on a Monday!
CS/Q: yesterday I started having mild O-like pains. Even though I had 2 + opk last Tuesday (about 6 days earlier than expected), it is possible that I really didn't ovulate & am now or am I ovulating twice? I read a study that says it can happen. CD 20 is my typical O day.
GTKY: My first concert was Boyz 2 Men when I was 13. I won tickets from a radio station. If I could see anyone I think I would see Coldplay or Kanye. They both put on really good shows. Yes, I know Kanye sucks as a person, but his music is really good.
@gene_genie that is impressive timing. How do you get your H to do that?!
@emmasemm ugh Las Vegas is horrible. My husband was born and raised there. Such a tragedy.
@josie12367 yes to Taylor Swift! Totally forgot about her
@izza2 Sorry about the back pain! That's no fun. Have you tried heat or ice on it?
@emmasemm Your chart does look lovely! Fx it's meaningful, despite the progesterone.
@SkilledSailor Glad to hear business is doing well! Are you feeling better by now? Hope you got to relax over the weekend. I would also love to see Trans-Siberian Orchestra! They tour every Christmas, but MH is less than excited about going.
@jnmiller324 It's pretty much impossible to ovulate twice days apart. When women do experience multiple ovulation, they release two eggs within a 24 hour period. Once your progesterone goes up for the LP, no more eggs are coming out. Are you temping as well as using opks? It's possible to get a false LH surge and not ovulate. A temp spike is the only way to confirm ovulation.
--------------------------------
Month/Cycle: 8/7
CD/DOO: 21/8
Timing: all but -2
Testing: Nope. Trying to hold out until Thursday. (But let's be honest, probably Wednesday)
Typical LP length: 13 days
Rant/Rave: I'm getting my hopes up this cycle (for no real reason, other than maybe the HSG was magic), and I'm afraid I'm going to be devastated if/when AF arrives.
CS/Q: I have my follow up with my ob/gyn and an u/s scheduled for Thursday morning, and I'm seriously debating cancelling both. If we need to more on to the RE, he will likely want a cd 3 u/s for antral follicle count, and I don't want to pay for more u/s than are needed. Also, my ob/gyn isn't going to be able to provide much info about my bw beyond saying that nothing looks clearly problematic. What would you ladies do?
GTKY: Which band/artist did you first see in concert? And if you had no limitations which band/artist would you most like to see perform live?
If no limitations means I have access to a time machine, The Beatles, hands down. I was a major Beatles fan in high school, and, although I'm not so obsessed now, I still love them. Related to that, I think the first performances I saw were Julian Lennon and Sean Lennon (two separate concerts). Another early one was Ani DiFranco, who I love. I also adore the British group Suede, and would love to see them again. Not sure if they're officially broken up again or not though. I saw them in 2003 in Scotland and it was glorious.
@emmasemm so sorry for the BFNs - still keeping my FX for your betas!
@gene_genie jealous you saw Destiny's Child!!!!!!
I'll come back later for more tags - my computer is being weird and I have to go warm up my car and brush the SNOW off it. grr
Month/Cycle: 3/2
CD/DOO: 25/3
Timing: all but -2
Testing: 14 DPO
Typical LP length: Unsure - 15 has been max
Rant/Rave: rant: I woke up to a blizzard this morning.... wahhh I don't have snow tires on so freaked about driving to work. And also just...it's OCTOBER 2 for goodness sakes!!!!! My boss is in Vegas right now, talked with her this morning and she is safe. Such a tragedy!
CS/Q: CH today!
GTKY: Which band/artist did you first see in concert? And if you had no limitations which band/artist would you most like to see perform live?
Saw Christina Aguilera as my first concert when I was 9 or 10. I would love to see Adele live!!
@darkstar42 *spoiler alert re: GTKNY* Totally agree with your Beatles choice. I absolutely love them. We just went to see Paul at Barclays Center last week and it was so fun.
@jnmiller324 A++ Boyz 2 Men. Also, the pharmacy commercial they're in where the sing about the drug's side effects totally cracks me up every time it is on. Husband says it is because I have a "dad joke" sense of humor, but I say it is a combo of nostalgia and actual hilarity!
@izza2 Sorry to hear about your back pain. Great chart - thanks for sharing!!
@josie12367 GL at your cardio appointment and your HR test. Hope all goes well.
---------------------------------------
Month/Cycle: 2/2
CD/DOO: 17/3
Timing: -6, -4, -2, -1
Testing: Trying not to.
Typical LP length: 15
Rant/Rave: Rant - Super sad about what happened in Las Vegas. Rave - Checked in with friends/fam there and all okay, thank goodness.
CS/Q: So erratic, nothing to see.
GTKY: Which band/artist did you first see in concert? And if you had no limitations which band/artist would you most like to see perform live?
The first concert I went to was a mash up of oldies like the Beach Boys, Little Richard, Tiny Tim - dragged there by my parents, but definitely had fun. The first concert I chose to go to was New Kids on the Block, which for 9 or 10 year old me was incredible! My first adult concert (i.e. went to on my own with friends) was Aerosmith.
See above - given no limitations would want to see The Beatles in concert. Would love to see them perform some of their stuff from later albums that never got played live.
@canucklehead123 Um where do you live again? I want to add it to the list of places I will never move to. I can't handle an early October blizzard! Also, great choice with Adele! Totally want to see her live too. I bet it's amazing.
@darkstar42 @LaceyBee522 Oooh why didn't I think of The Beatles! Such a classic.
Month/Cycle: 4/3
CD/DPO: 22/1
Timing: -3, -2, -1, +1
Testing: The weekend of the 14th. DH will be away for drill so I'll have time process.
Typical LP length: Between 20 and 22
R/R: I really wish DH hadn't told my mom we were trying because now that's all she wants to talk about and I don't want to talk about it with her.
CS/Q: My chart kind of sucks because of my inability to wake up at the same time everyday.
GTKY: I went to my first concert last summer! It was O-Town, Dream, and 98 Degrees. They did not age well.
My lunch is over so I'll respond to everyone after school!

@josie12367 YES! So glad that you ended up with great timing before YH went away. FX that this is your cycle. And GL with your appointment. Hope everything is ok.
@izza2 Sorry to hear about your back. Lots of stretching and taking it easy. Hope it is better soon.
@emmasemm The Vegas stuff is so awful. So sad for everyone. FX that this is your cycle and that those temps are giving you good signs!
@genie_genie Sorry about the BFN.
@SkilledSailor Oh I am excited for you about the dog rescue. I really hope that you get to adopt another pup. GL for the home visit.
@jnmiller324 Yay for jeans on a Monday! Hope you have a super fun week.
@darkstar42 Sorry I dont have advise for you on the us. Hope some of the other ladies can give you come guidance. FX that this is your cycle. I am rooting for you so hard! You have awesome timing.
@canucklehead123 Drive safe today! I really dont like driving in the snow without my winter tires on either. Glad to hear your boss is ok.
@LaceyBee522 Glad that all your family and friends are safe. It is so sad.
@jsnakehole I am sorry that you are going through that with your mom. I completely understand, it is something that is so private and you want to keep to yourself. I haven't told my parents either for that same reason. I hope that she backs off of the subject and allows you to continue on your path. (hugs)
@ajsanders-2 AH I am so glad that you had a great vacation! Sounds awesome! Hope you settle back into routine smoothly.
@ajsanders-2 we had a stay-cation this year too and had a fab time! Pleased you did too and boo to first Monday back!
@jsnakehole see what you mean, I can't tell anything from your chart either sorry...
@darkstar42 and @laceybee522 good call with The Beatles!
@canucklehead123 hope you get home safe tonight in the snow!
@darkstar42 I think your chart is looking awesome and really hope you can be the post HSG miracle for us!
@jnmiller324 I recorded Boyz 2 Men from the radio onto a cassette... oh those were the days before iTunes lol
@dukestar5 thanks for popping by! After 3 days 80% on the couch I'm feeling better thanks. SS will be a walk in the park in future compared to these medicated ones though!
@skilledsailor good news that the business is doing well! Though what is an Aussie rescue???
@izza2 are you doing anything to relieve your back? Hope it's improving soon
@josie12367 hope the appointment went well today!
And thanks for reminding me I had a neurologist appointment today which I would have forgotten if you hadn't written about your appointment! I now have three different doctors taking blood from me every week... which is only reinforcing my theory that I live in a city of vampires...

@emmasemm Cats seem like a great start. Sounds like you'll eventually end up with quite the little farm!
@emmasemm Yes! Another swifty! I would gladly have you join me! I hope you guys get your cats. I also think cats are a great start. FX for you so hard this cycle!
@gene_genie So sorry about the BFN...maybe your dates are off a bit? You're not out till your out. Hang in there!
@SkilledSailor I will definitely update...they did the echo today too, so I'll know something hopefully soon! So glad your business is booming! We had an Aussie mix growing up. Sweetest and most loyal dog I've ever loved. I hope the home visit goes well!
@nitnat007 So miss you on the dailies! Any word from DH? I hope he and the rest of his ship are doing well, and staying safe. Let's just hope the hurricanes STAY AWAY till next season...I think we've met our quota for the year
Will be back for more tags...I need to move to my computer. This is torture on my mobile!
@SkilledSailor @josie12367 I am doing good. Just trying to keep busy. MH is doing well, they did some great work in Dominica, and now he is on his way home!! So excited. He should be back either Thursday late, or Friday morning. This hurricane season has been something else. I really hope that it is done. They have one more trip this year, but it wont be to help out as they are prepping for deployment in January.

@darkstar42 we are DPO, Testing, and LP buddies!! It feels like I am crawling in slow motion to Thursday.
@canucklehead123 blizzard - yuck! Im on the opposite side of the spectrum and sick and tired of the heat and just want it to feel like fall.
Month/Cycle: 2/2
CD/DPO: 28/7 i think but maybe 8
Timing: -3, -1, O
Testing: Holding out until Thursday (10 or 11 DPO)
Typical LP length: 13 days
Rant/Rave: My temps go totally crazy if I drink alcohol the night before. This month we had 2 weddings and 2 other weekend events, so the booze was definitely flowing. My chart is pointless.
GTKY: NSYNC was the first! And I would LOVE to see Britney in Vegas. (My answer makes me sound so basic lol)
@canucklehead123 Sorry you’re having to deal with snow already! That’s so scary that YH got in an accident. I’m glad he’s alright, and I hope the car is too! Thank goodness your boss is ok!
@LaceyBee522 Yes! Paul puts on a wonderful concert. I’ve seen him twice now. Glad everyone you know in Vegas is ok!
@SkilledSailor Glad to hear you’re feeling better! I emailed my ob/gyn to see what she says, but I think I’ll probably cancel. It would mean waiting another full cycle before an ultrasound, but oh well. I feel like that’s a procedure the RE will want to repeat regardless.
@jsnakehole Welcome! Sorry you’re having to deal with talking to your mother about ttc. It’s really rough when family don’t hold appropriate boundaries around this stuff. Also, your first concert was only last year?!?
@ajsanders-2 Welcome back! I’m glad your vacation went so well.
@nitnat007 Bench or not, you’re always welcome here!
@luckypandas Jealous of you being on a beach right now! It’s pouring rain where I’m at.
@emmasemm You should totally adopt adult cats! They are the best. And you know what you’re getting much more so than with kittens.
@josie12367 Fx for a good diagnosis from the cardiologist!
@gene_genie Sorry for AF and having to deal with the TB treatment. I hope it all goes well and you can begin ttc again soon!
@jenben8888 Hey buddy! Clearly we’re twinsies for this cycle, and therefore will both get ku. That’s how it works, right? Where do you live that it’s still super hot? I lived in AZ for six years, and I always hated how hot it still was in October!
@josie12367 I'm having a creepy little mental party for you that you Oed on your own again!!! And you have excellent timing! Glad your appointment today went well. I'm impressed with people who keep good poker faces. I'm terrible at it! Hopefully you get your results soon.
@jenben8888 Hooray for NSYNC! They were my first concert too--the No Strings Attached tour!
@nitnat007 That's so exciting that YH is on the way back home. So glad that he didn't have to be away until November like you originally thought.
@jsnakehole O-Town was performing last year? I loved them when I was younger. (I pretty much loved all boy bands.) I had no idea that O-Town was performing again though. That's too bad that they didn't age well. They were so cute! Can't resist posting this gif of them...ahhhh the 2000's fashion with the huge baggy clothes.

Do you know what kind of horse you want, yet? ( I know nothing about choosing a horse to own).
Month/Cycle: 6/6
CD/DPO: 29/9-ish
Timing: -5,-4, -2, -1
Testing: CD35+
Typical LP length: 11
Rant/Rave: In denial that it's only Monday
CS/Q: not temping this month so nothing to see
GTKY: Which band/artist did you first see in concert? And if you had no limitations which band/artist would you most like to see perform live? A friend took me to see Avril Lavigne for her birthday. I would choose to see My Chemical Romance's Black Parade tour. I heard it was good. And his voice is perfect.
If not, I agree with @SkilledSailor and go with the TSO
@dukestar5 - I think it may be my sleeping position, but I really don't know why my back is hurting. I chronically have muscle issues (pulled/strained/etc.), so it's not really anything new, just extremely uncomfortable and annoying. Thankfully I still have Flexeril from the last back problem I had, and it's a Category B drug.
@darkstar42 - Heat helps, but ice doesn't. Unfortunately, I can only use the heating pad while I'm home, which is the minority of the time, haha. We have a heating blanket thing for our bed that I'm going to con H in to putting back on soon, so I'll be able to heat it while I sleep.
@josie12367 - I hate when they have good poker faces! When I go for any sort of tests, I like when I can read their expressions and get an idea of what's to come (good vs. bad). I don't like waiting for answers, haha. Keeping everything crossed that your echo was good, and you have nothing to worry about there! Forgive me if you've already mentioned it and I have a horrible memory; have you had a stress test done recently?
