My first confession is I took too long making this post because my original gif wouldn't work so now I'm late getting in the shower and I might be late to work.
I tried to fake morning sickness so DH would stay home from work. I attempted to fake puke and actually let out a huge belch. Needless to say, my epic plan didn't work. I'm just so tired. I was up late, then up from 4 to 6 and then woke up at 620 when DH got in the shower. We have plans almost all day tomorrow including hosting game night for 3 couples who don't have kids. So I need to clean my house, keep the kids hungry and alive, and not fall asleep casually today. Add to this we moved DS to a toddler bed last night due to climbing out so nap time with 2 toddlers capable of crawling into each other's beds will he a disaster.
I was going to sneak out of work early today. But the big boss is here. Damn.

I only shaved because of TV ultrasound the other day. I was irrationally annoyed to do it.
I wore capris and capri length yoga pants for our whole vacation. I hadn't shaved for almost a week at the start of that. Could not even be bothered to care.
I will say though, I am that person who goes into labor and takes a shower/shaves my legs before heading to the hospital lol but it makes me feel better because who knows how long it'll be before i get around to it/feel like doing it again

@ladystinson you just made me laugh. i thought of heading to the hospital with my first and showering didnt even cross my mind, it was about 11:30 at night.
@bwow615 lol I'm a little bit crazy. My water broke and I went into labor at 330a sunday morning, around 8 i took a shower and did my legs lol then at 9 we went to the hospital where I was told that my water didn't break so I just peed myself.... yeah, ok because everyone has a big gush like they peed and can then immediately go do just that lol so they sent me home. We met up with my parents and went to the mall and this huge antique place near us to walk, throughout which my water was leaking even though it hadn't broken. Had lunch. Went home and got our dog and brought him to their house (they were watching him while we were in the hospital) Had dinner, tried to sleep and by about 1-130a monday morning the back labor had gotten too bad to ignore so we headed to the hospital. I was admitted by 3 finally. I eventually, after 5 hours pushing, gave birth at about 740p monday night. (they had the audacity to yell at me for going more than 24 hours with my water broken and swore I didn't tell them. I went mama bear and may have slightly gotten in their face about looking at my chart since triage sent me home lol but if they hadn't I would have ended up with a c-section so I'm glad they did)
so all in all, I had enough time to take about 15 showers lol
I actually wish I had taken one sunday night/monday morning before we went because after we got there, they put the saline lock/iv in and wouldn't let me take a shower because of it, then I didn't get to take one until tuesday night when I basically made them remove the iv so i could. 40 hours of labor with 5 hours of pushing, I was straight nasty lol

@ladystinson I full on took a shower, shaved my legs, and blow-dyed and straightened my hair at 4 am when I was in labor with DS. I am so glad I did, too, because I had a very long labor and three hours of pushing. I also had bad back labor. The epidural was slightly off center initially and so one of my legs was far more numb than the other for a long time after having DS, so I couldn't walk for a good amount of time. I had DS on Friday night and didn't go home until early evening Sunday. At that point, I just waited until I got home to shower.
All you non-leg-shavers must have blonde hair. My italian genes come out the most in the form of hair. If I wanted to wear shorts two days in a row, I have to shave two days in a row. Hell, I need to shave by the middle of the day, too, heaven forbid I get goosebumps and my hair regrows.
My FFFC... my husband totaled up how much I've spent at Target this month alone and I'm not one ounce ashamed.

It is almost the end of the day and I have done absolutely nothing productive at work except tidy my desk. Haven't even so much as answered an email. I feel like shit emotionally and physically and might have just taken a sick day except DH is home with someone he's working with editing a TV show so there's no point. So I'm hiding in my office instead!
Soooo I had DD in the middle of August I got my legs waxed and a Brazilian...... but I work in the hospital I gave birth in and I want eveything ship shape
I got the kids up from their nap and got them dressed. I then took them to Mcdonald's for French fries to eat for snack. I just didn't have it in me to try and get them to eat a snack. I knew they'd down some fries. And I only got them dressed in real clothes so we didn't look too trashy in the drive thru.
@yesthisiskim0401 Hahahahahaha no. My hair is not blonde. Anywhere on my body. Especially not in the fun places where women are "not supposed to have hair." My SO is marrying a cave woman. It's black everywhere but my head which is dark brown. (You can tell from my profile pic) When I was shaving I had to daily. I don't have the time for that, and I don't really care either. I will shave for the wedding in November though...
Confession: for my ultrasound this week the tech asked me to pull my pants down a little. I thought to myself "how is she going to do it w my pants still on?" So I just pull one leg off, bc I'm confused and thinking maybe she doesn't know how to do her job? I ask "Is that good?" She says "whatever makes you comfortable" and then does an ABDOMINAL ultrasound. I thought she was going to do the vaginal type since I was 8 weeks. So I'm now the weirdo with her pants half off for no reason. F me. My husband gave me the weirdest looks.
@zaclina I get home embarrassing and awkward that is, but I'm laughing so hard right now there are tears in my eyes. My daughter just side eyed me for disturbing pj masks.
