I was here for a while last year but I was diagnosed with uterine cancer and left for awhile. I got the all clear about 4 months ago. I have to do the pill for another 2 months and then we get to start looking at our options. I was lucky that we couldn't get pregnant or it would have taken them a lot longer to find the cancer. My fertility doctor, was with me the whole time of my cancer he was the one doing my d&c and I never went to a oncologist.

It's crazy how things work out sometimes. It's awful that you got diagnosed with cancer, but thank goodness it was caught early on! Best wishes for you

Not to be a Debbie downer here, but why did your RE not refer you to an oncologist? I'm an oncology nurse and I strongly urge you to get a second opinion from a GYN oncologist. REs are great at what they do, but they don't specialize in cancer treatment. I would go just to make sure you have done all you need to do.

@jenrn1216. Oh snap. I must have glanced over that last line there. That sounds utterly crazy to me. I also hope she gets a follow up because I find that practically unbelievable
