Possible IUGR again..

My son was diagnosed with IUGR at 35 weeks and I had to get two NST per week until I was induced early at 37.5 weeks because of low fluid. He was 5lbs 10oz and perfectly healthy, left the hospital after 28 hours. He was always under 15% growth(still is) so I'm thinking he is just small?!
Well this pregnancy they did an extra growth scan at 28 weeks and cleared us of anything extra. Now my doctor wants another scan after my appointment Monday! Ugh. Maybe I just make small babies since I'm only like 5 foot and tiny hahah?! I was just really hoping I could have normal pregnancy and go into labor naturally.

Re: Possible IUGR again..

  • 5lbs 10oz doesn't seem small at 37.5. My girls were born a week later than your son and both weighed 6lbs 8oz so a lb more a week later. My DH and I are both about 5'2".

  • My first was 5lbs 10oz full term. I’m 5’0” and my doc said it was likely because I’m small.
  • Good luck.
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
