I didn't see this started yet, so here goes!
Your "ticker change day" is the day you switch over to being another
full week pregnant (ie: 5 weeks instead of 4 weeks and 6 days).
If your EDD is 5/3, 5/10, 5/17, 5/24, or 5/31, this is for you!
1. How far along are you? How big is baby?
2. How are you feeling?
3. Any appointments coming up?
4. Rants/raves/questions?
5. GTKY: Are you going to (try to) find out if baby is boy/girl before delivery? Do you have any gut feelings what this little one may be?
BFP 9/11/13 EDD 5/21/14 MC 9/20/13

BFP 2/25/14 EDD 11/5/14 BD 11/4/14
BFP 8/26/17 EDD 5/5/18

Re: Thursday Ticker Change 9/28
2. How are you feeling? Exhausted is an understatement. Boobs are huge and sore. Pelvic area is full and tight, maybe popping soon?
3. Any appointments coming up? First u/s on the 10th!
4. Rants/raves/questions? DH complains that I'm tired all the time anymore. Almost like he forgot in the last 3 years what it was like for me - without a 3 year old. Ugh men...
5. GTKY: Are you going to (try to) find out if baby is boy/girl before delivery? Do you have any gut feelings what this little one may be? YES! I need to know whether to keep all the cute, frilly clothes or sell them to buy tractor and dinosaur clothes! Thinking this one is a boy. Haven't had any dreams like I did with DD yet, but the decreased m/s compared to DD has me thinking boy.
BFP 2/25/14 EDD 11/5/14 BD 11/4/14
BFP 8/26/17 EDD 5/5/18
9 weeks, cherry or a grape tomato
2. How are you feeling?
Emotional and stressed.
3. Any appointments coming up?
10/10 we have a tour of the birthing center and it's more like an orientation. They start care at 12 weeks, so I should been seen relatively close to that date.
4. Rants/raves/questions?
I wish my SO would do the dishes. They've been sitting there for quite a while, and I'm too dead to do anything but survive and keep J alive. I know he works a lot (finance and insurance manager for a car dealership) but come on, you know?
5. GTKY: Are you going to (try to) find out if baby is boy/girl before delivery? Do you have any gut feelings what this little one may be?
Definitely going to be finding out ahead of time. I have a strong feeling this one is a boy. My last pregnancy was very similar to this, but I haven't experienced any spotting so far this time around. We'll see. There's no way to really know, but that's my hunch.
five weeks size of an apple seed, ovia says the size of a dot snail
2. How are you feeling? Like shit, nauseous and I'm totally exhausted. Im also bloated like no other.... it's obnoxious.
3. Any appointments coming up? October 10 is pregnancy confirmation and will have an ultrasound soon after
4. Rants/raves/questions? I hate that May has five weeks in it and I'm due May 31 how can you all in the beginning of the month be so far head of me
5. GTKY: Are you going to (try to) find out if baby is boy/girl before delivery? Do you have any gut feelings what this little one may be? Yes! I hate surprises in general so the fact I have to wait until the anatomy scan annoys the heck out of me. I think it's a boy for no real reason.
7 weeks!!! I just hang around every week for Thursdays to check off another week
Baby is the size of a wee raspberry on one app, but the other app raspberry is next week.
2. How are you feeling?
SO happy to have had the wonderful moment of seeing baby for the first time on Monday. I just adore him, and feel like I'm getting to know him already
This week has been easier, I didn't have quite as consistent nausea, but I'm crying at the drop of a hat, sore boobs, and just want to nap all day.. other than that excited for all my appointments coming up and getting used to being pregnant!
3. Any appointments coming up?
Are there ever! We just cannot decide between midwives at hospital, birth centre or home birth so we are meeting with all 3 over the next 2 weeks for a chat and to see how we feel.
Oct 9th is our second scan with my RE/OB which will be our last appointment with her before moving into our choice of midwives! We will hear the heartbeat - instead of just seeing it, so I'm super excited about that!
4. Rants/raves/questions?
I hadn't thought beyond just getting pregnant in awhile I forgot all the body goes through during pg!
I had a small amount of spotting a few nights which is thanks to the vaginal suppositories but it is so hard to see that.
5. GTKY: Are you going to (try to) find out if baby is boy/girl before delivery? Do you have any gut feelings what this little one may be?
I already know our little one is a boy!
We originally weren't going to find out, I imagined before IF I'd find out at birth. The reasons we decided to find out, which an IVF girlfriend veteran pointed out to me was
A: we paid a lot of money to test, why not make use of it?
B: how could we resist knowing more about our little one we have been dying to meet and praying about for so long!!!
C: opportunity, we hadn't decided and were surprised with the results much earlier so I quickly called hubby and he said yes! The nurse asked us about 3 times whether we were sure. I prayed just before the results for peace for whatever and felt I knew the results so that was fun too. I never cared much about gender but I do enjoy it.
What I really don't enjoy (which I read some mothers do like) is gender speculation. I just don't care about people's projections, so I'm glad I know, and we will tell everyone soon as we've already both slipped up so many times...
I like gender neutral and am trying to brace myself for the gender talk. It helps that hubby is a pink-loving gentle guy, so thankfully our families will probably think of our little boy as more like my hubby. Which is sweet, I am imagining a tiny version of him too even though I'm also expecting a whole new personality! The men in his family are all sweethearts so I'm chuffed it's a boy.
We spoke to 95yo Grandpa last night who requested a boy since he only has 1 of 10+ great grandchildren who is a boy. I feel like those 80+ are allowed to make gender remarks hehe
9 weeks. Baby is the size of a cherry and graduated from embryo to fetus!
2. How are you feeling?
Crappy. I had two good days, but now I'm back to struggling through every minute of the day again.
3. Any appointments coming up?
October 3rd to meet with the midwife to discuss previous pregnancies and genetic screening.
4. Rants/raves/questions?
I just want this pregnancy to be over and to have my sweet smush to snuggle and kiss.
5. GTKY: Are you going to (try to) find out if baby is boy/girl before delivery? Do you have any gut feelings what this little one may be?
Yes! I cannot wait to find out. Hoping for a boy after two girls, but I'm feeling like with my luck it's totally another girl.
