10 weeks, the size of a legoman

    2. How are you feeling?

Yesterday, I felt great. I have good days and then I'll have a day or two days of all day sickness. It's strange how it cycles this pregnancy.

    3. Any appointments coming up?
I have an appt on Friday for bloodwork for genetic testing. I see my mfm on October 9th. Good thing I called when I did because it took a while for them to find me an appt.

    4. Rants, raves, questions?

    5. GTKY: what’s your favorite animal?
I am not really into animals. I guess a wolf or a fox?

    1. How many weeks?
    10 weeks- Strawberry or prune

    2. How are you feeling? I'm doing ok... I've been emotional, and that is no fun.

    3. Appointments: this coming Tuesday- they said they *might* do an ultrasound... I really hope they do! My PGAL brain needs it!

    4. R/R/questions? Is anyone not really believing they're pregnant? I think it's from PGAL... I saw the bean last time, heartbeat and all, but I just don't believe it yet... and not in like a "oh it doesn't seem real that there will be a baby here" kinda way, but a "I don't believe I'm legitimately pregnant" kind of way. Maybe after 1st trimester I'll feel different?

    5. Favorite animal? Well, dogs... but favorite non-pet animal? Hmmm... I can't pick one!!

    3. Any appointments coming up?
October 12 I have my first appointment with the midwife I will see until December.
    4. Rants, raves, questions?
my hcg results never came in from my appointment last week. I’m so annoyed! I finally got an appointment and their triage protocol for spotting is to “confirm pregnancy” (umm, I’ve been finding the heartbeat on my Doppler for 3 weeks now!) then ultrasound.  I’m hoping they still order an us next appointment for my peace of mind. I really wish my regular doc was available!! She understands PGAL brain!
    5. GTKY: what’s your favorite animal?
toss up between dogs and horses.

    5. I love all animals but dogs are probably my favorite.

@viggie17, I understand and empathize with the PGAL process of not completely feeling pregnant yet. It is almost as if, even though we have seen the baby and heartbeat, that we protect ourselves mentally by not allowing us to fully enjoy it yet.

    1. 10 weeks; a lollipop!
    2. Like Viggie17 I am feeling awful and nauseated/fatigued/emotional many days but the days I don’t feel awful, I am mentally taxed. Although I had a successful pregnancy after my loss, I am still hesitant to enjoy it. The last US showed three to four days behind with a strong heartbeat. My doctor was not concerned as I am a small person and gave birth to a small baby last time but I am ultra nervous about it.
    3. I have an intermittent appointment this week with the doctor. Then my typical appointment in two weeks.
    4. None other than above.
    5. My favorite animal is a hippopotamus.

@viggie17 I'm right here with you. I don't feel pregnant. I am hoping to feel more secure with things after my 12 week ultrasound. I'm trying to take it day by day and not over think things. Which is easier said than done.

    1. How many weeks?
    9 weeks - cherry

    2. How are you feeling?
Ugh I feel terrible. It's hard having a due date at the very end of the month recently because everyone is like "I'm feeling better... end of first tri!" and I'm like "I. Feel. Like. Death."

    3. Appointments?
Nothing until mid-October, but I can now check on baby with the Doppler regularly, so that's really nice.

    4. R/R/questions?
We have started telling more family/close friends and everyone is shocked we're having a 4th kid and basically thinks we're nuts. Hopefully we'll get more support when people adjust to the idea.

    5. Favorite animal?
I don't really have one. We were at the zoo recently and I did feel envious of all the animals snoozing by themselves while all of us wrangled toddlers/crazy kids outside the cages. I am not a shrink but I'm guessing that feeling envious of a caged animal for its alone time means I need to get some of it and soon.

12 weeks! Baby is the size of a plum or toy soldier.

    Tired and incredibly irritable today.

I have 2 appts this week: regular ob appt tomorrow afternoon and then my NT scan on tues AM w MFM.

I'll tired of my lower back and hips hurting. I'm only 12w for goodness sake. I have people who rely on me and no time for this s***.

    I do not love God's creatures.  :D

@beach_mama I so hear you - I have the mental resilience of like my 5 year old right now. They don't have my favorite ice cream at the store and I'm ready to cry and swear the world is against me. Then today, my three year old asked when i'm going to be happy again, which (ironically) also made me cry.

I hope you wake up feeling better tomorrow.

    3: NT Screening next week!

4: Getting to the point where we are telling family and I have such a big family that I am looking for clever ways to share the good news! I will have to make a lot of visits and calls!!

    1. How many weeks are you? How big is baby?
11 weeks, and baby is the size of a brussel sprout!

    2. How are you feeling?
Decent. Still getting random waves of nausea, especially in the mornings. Not sleeping all that well, either.

    3. Any appointments coming up?
Going back for genetic testing (and hoping to find out the sex!) on 10/18.

    4. Rants, raves, questions?
Rant: Got the results back from my last appointment. Not only do I have a UTI, but also a yeast infection. The antibiotic they prescribed is like a horse pill and tastes god-awful. Having trouble keeping it down in the mornings.

    5. GTKY: what’s your favorite animal?
I've always been a cat person, but can't own them anymore due to DH being allergic. And, I kind of have a thing for owls. They are ALL OVER my house, at least 4 or 5 in every single room. Needless to say, baby is going to have a lot of owl stuff, LOL.

Totally feel you on that. I find myself actually pushing my belly out a little bit in order to look more pregnant, and not just chubby. To top it off, last week a co-worker (who knows I am pregnant) looked me up and down and said, "Wow. You're getting fat." ummmm, thanks I guess? WTF?!
