Rant/Rave: This is the cold from hell. ETA Rave: Both my meetings today were just cancelled! I'll be bumming it until 2pm.
CS/Q: ETA my chart for stalking. No crosshairs yet but I get them tomorrow at CD 15 as long as my temps are above 98.2. I'm thinking CD14 since I have all negative fertility signs after that.
GTKY: Oh man. This is a toss up between a sandwich shop I worked at where the new owner (not the one that hired me) was insanely sexist and made me mop the floors on my hands and knees using a rag rather than the mop we had. Customers actually chewed him out over it, it was that bad. Or a nanny position I had last year where the parents never agreed with each other over discipline or food or literally anything and I was in trouble no matter what I did. Oh, and the little girl (3 years old) called me a bitch within earshot of the parents and they did nothing.
Rant/Rave: So glad it's Friday!!! Slept in our new King bed last night and did not get up to workout. Oops! Just looking forward to a quiet weekend. TW: infants - One of my best friends had a baby 2 weeks ago and I will be going over to her place tomorrow so I will get some snuggles! /TW

My temps are continuing up, but it's still early days, so who knows. I'm feeling irrationally hopeful about this cycle, so fx it's the one! Chart in spoiler for stalking.
GTKY: What's the worst job you've ever had? What made it so terrible? Hotel housekeeping. Getting paid next to nothing to clean up after extremely messy people. Oh, and we had to wear little maid costumes, complete with frilly aprons and stockings. Yeah. Pro tip: unless the cup/glass in your hotel room is in a sealed wrapper, don't drink out of it.
@mrsmiller8588 I don't know why I've had so many horrendous jobs. I strongly believe that's a big reason why I decided to branch off on my own. I added my chart to my original post for your stalking. Thank you! TW Babies....Aw love bestie babies! That'll be fun! Will you be an honorary "aunt"? END TW
@darkstar42 It's mostly relaxing with about 5-6 hours of work. Pretty relaxed for us! H is also sick so we'll likely be hanging on the couch all weekend. I wouldn't stress too much about the protein. That ish is in nearly everything! You're probably closer to that 30% mark than you think. As a long-term vegetarian, I have lots of tricks on sneaking it into your meals/snacks if you want any tips. Also...ew to your pro tip.
Timing: We were going to do smep, but I unexpectedly O'ed a week early, so only -3, -1, 0
Testing: No
Typical LP Length: 12-14
Rant/Rave: I am out of all makeup & facial products, so I might have to drop some $$ at Sephora, so I guess that counts as both a rant & rave!
CS/Q: I have my annual pap scheduled for Oct. 9, which is around 13 dpo. Should I reschedule it?? Is it safe in the tww? I don't want it to mess up anything if I happen to get pregnant this month.
GTKY: What's the worst job you've ever had? What made it so terrible?
I honestly can't think of anything. After college I taught preschool & waitressed at night. I had to be at school at 630am, so it was really hard getting home after midnight then getting up a few hours later to teach. The jobs weren't horrible, but not a fan of the situation.
Haha oh yeah I forgot I worked at forever 21 in college. It was a nightmare trying to put clothes back since they only get like 15 pieces of each item, so you wander aimlessly through the store trying to find something that looks similar so you can put things back.
CD/DPO: CD23/DPO 8 or 9 (I'm not charting super accurately right now, just know my O symptoms.. or at least I think I do, could be wrong lol)
Timing: -2, -1
Testing: I'm going to try to hold off until at least Sunday. I don't want to do it tomorrow and just get disappointed. I really should wait until next Wednesday at least. uuughh

Rant/Rave: It's Friday! And my husband's big stressful project is over! It's been a long few weeks of near constant stress. Yay it's over!!! My rant is that I forgot my lunch, oops.
CS/Q:
GTKY: What's the worst job you've ever had? What made it so terrible? My first job was when I was 15, working at the comic book store right by my house. This sounds ideal to many people probably but I have never even liked comics, it was just the only place that I could walk to that would hire me. The asshole owner paid me under the table and was a huge jerk, yelling at everyone. And the place reeked like unclean teenagers. The owner made me cry one day and I quit! Other than that, my jobs have been fine. Though, running a farmers market once was pretty stressful. Farmers have drama
@darkstar42 please don't say why we shouldn't drink out of hotel room cups, I don't think I want to know @SkilledSailor both of your jobs sound so awful! what is up with these misogynist bosses?
@SkilledSailor I actually think CD15 because that makes more sense with your OPK (usually O the day or so after positive) and the temp jump. The only thing that doesn't perfectly line up is the CM...

Rant/Rave: I leave for Myrtle Beach tomorrow! // This is my first TWW in 2 years and I forgot how much it sucks
CS/Q: Nope
GTKY: What's the worst job you've ever had? What made it so terrible? I put tethers on felons. The place was poorly mismanaged, I had to watch people pee for drug tests, there were times where I had to read the paperwork to clients because they couldn't read (and that was sad), it was just not a good time.
Me: 29 | DW: 30 Married: May 2013 TTC #1 Since: June 2013 IUI 1-6: BFN IUI 7: TWW
Rant/Rave: It's my first post in a TWW/WTO thread since trying for our first! Can't believe we're already on this train again...
GTKY: What's the worst job you've ever had? What made it so terrible? I never really had a job that was too bad? I was a grocery store checker in high school and didn't love it or anything, but I liked goofing off with the cute stock boys. I will count myself very lucky, based on what I'm reading from the rest of you!
@SkilledSailor I'd agree with @MrsMiller8588 on CD15, given both temps and OPK. I don't know what your CM usually looks like, but I get my most fertile CM (if I get any at all, that is) in the days before O, not on the day of, so that lines up in my experience, too.
@jnmiller324 Oh my god, I can't imagine working at F21. Every store I've ever been in (and I admit it's been a long time) was basically just heaps of random clothing piled everywhere. How could you ever put anything back?!

@MoonOverGoldsboro@mrsmiller8588 Thank you ladies for the stalk! I have EW cm today so I took another OPK and that one is positive too. The temp spikes could be because of my cold/whatever I have since I've had a fever off and on. Ugh so annoying since temping is really the only way I can confirm O since OPKs and CM mean basically nothing for me. /rant
@luckypandas That job sounds truly awful! No thank you
Testing Yep, every day since trigger, all negative since last Saturday, first day I would expect to turn one would be Wednesday, but now it's a habit, Beta next Friday!
Typical LP 14-16
Rant/Rave Progesterone makes me SS all the time. But rave it's the weekend! And it's a long weekend here, no work til Wednesday!!!
CS/Q Chart in Spoiler though no idea how trustworthy it is with all the meds!
GTKY Hmmm good question... I worked I our local small village grocery store from when I was 14 on a Sunday when shops in the U.K. first tested opening a few hours on a Sunday. We couldn't sell any alcohol on a Sunday then so it was mostly deserted and 6 hours with one or two customers per hour felt like a lifetime! After a few years it got much busier though. And we did have fun during those days. I used to take my homework in with me and do it sometimes too. Oh maybe when I was working as a professional dressage rider and the owner of the yard asked me to go get my "minions" working on a task they weren't really employed for - and I said he couldn't call them that, one of them overheard and long story short two hours later we all walked out and never went back! It was not the first time he had used wrong language and one of the mildest but it was somehow the final straw. Oh I also did work experience at several vets practices and on my first day in one the vet asked me to support an operation by holding a dogs tail - and then he cut it off with me holding it! He said afterwards if you didn't pass out you passed his test. I didn't go back to that practice after those initial two weeks!
@skilledsailor yay to cancelled meetings and hope you're feeling better soon!
@mrsmiller8588 sounds like you got the perfect new bed!!!
@darkstar42 fx for your beautiful looking temp rises! And I used to stay in hotels (mostly the same ones) for 200+ nights per year and always made sure to befriend the housekeeping staff and leave tips and extra goodies for them as I think it's often a thankless task as well as being tough on time allowed per room
@jnmiller324 what's forver21? (I'm not from the US...)
@diadem_l hope you can get something else for lunch without too much trouble!
@luckypandas I think you win worst job so far, that sounds tough physically and mentally

These days I'm the CFO of a global business unit for a big international company... I've also been a barmaid, waitress, riding instructor, shepherd's assistant, worked in a wildlife sanctuary, worked in a 24 hour facility for people with sever learning difficulties (which actually was mostly doing arts and crafts, so it was great fun), been a telephone sales rep, been a traveling sales rep, sold advertising to major car manufacturers (and I know nothing about cars), then fell into accountancy and management kind of by accident around 15 years ago and it's taken me around the world and back a few times!
Now you wish you hadn't asked ;-)

Rant/Rave: DH has been pissy all week once we found out I'll be on the road next week. Like I get that he's frustrated about it, but why are you ruining the time we ARE spending together with your negativity?! I come back on my 3 year wedding anniversary (and he's pointing that out as a negative thing... but let's be real, we weren't going to go out on a Thursday anyway dude) though! Yay!
CS/Q: nada and too lazy to post. Sorry mobilites (@mrsmiller8588).
GTKY: What's the worst job you've ever had? What made it so terrible? Hrm, this is a tricky one. I've had a lot of jobs that are both great in some aspects and terrible in others I will probably go with when I was a hospitality manager for a college. It was union based (for my employees, not the managers), and our HR was SO worried about pissing off the union that they basically let my employees walk all over me: they'd constantly skip out on shifts, there was no reason for them to work hard (schedules were based on seniority), one employee called me a bitch and HR's reply was "well if you're the only one who heard it then it's just he-said-she-said" (this employee then complained to HR saying that I'm treating him differently because he's black so I had to go to a workplace discrimination seminar).

GTKY: What's the worst job you've ever had? What made it so terrible? Most of my adult life I've worked in medical laboratory. However, I did take some second jobs. The WORST was working seasonal at Bath and Body Works in a mall. I hear the ones in strip malls/by themselves aren't as bad. We were supposed to bug people every few minutes to see if they needed help, and I just thought that was overkill, and it felt forced and awkward. Retail is something else, the rudeness, needing to get your "numbers," and being on people's backs to buy stuff. Definitely makes me even more polite/nice to retail folks when I go shopping. Also worked at Diary Queen (3 mos), Movie Theater (almost 1 year while doing phlebotomy certification and looking for phlebotomy job), phlebotomy/lab assistant (6 yrs while working on my BS) and now medical laboratory scientist for 5 years.

BFP 3/21/19 // D&C (MMC) 5/8/19
CD/DPO: 15/2dpiui
Timing: 24 hours after LH surge
Testing: I may test on 10/8, but blood test is on 10/11
Typical LP Length: 13 days
Rant/Rave: I leave for Myrtle Beach tomorrow! // This is my first TWW in 2 years and I forgot how much it sucks
CS/Q: Nope
GTKY: What's the worst job you've ever had? What made it so terrible? I put tethers on felons. The place was poorly mismanaged, I had to watch people pee for drug tests, there were times where I had to read the paperwork to clients because they couldn't read (and that was sad), it was just not a good time.
Married: May 2013
TTC #1 Since: June 2013
IUI 1-6: BFN
IUI 7: TWW
CD/DPO: 26/5
Timing: -5, -3, -2, -1, 0
Testing: nope nope nope
Typical LP Length: 11-12

@luckypandas That job sounds truly awful! No thank you
@MoonOverGoldsboro Welcome back! I hope your stay is short!
Month/Cycle 30/29
CD/DPO 22/9 (7dp2dt!!!)
Timing Perfect as IVF
@jnmiller324 what's forver21? (I'm not from the US...)
@diadem_l hope you can get something else for lunch without too much trouble!
@luckypandas I think you win worst job so far, that sounds tough physically and mentally
@moonovergoldsboro welcome back!
