Hey, all! I did our first freeze-all cycle in August, and repeat just now in September. Hoping to add a few more little fighters to our three frosties waiting. My polypectomy is scheduled for Oct 18, so if all goes well, I'll start estrogen four days later, and hope to schedule transfer for early/ mid November!!! Squeee!!! :D
So excited this is up! It makes it feel closer. We are currently doing IVF+PGD which necessitates a freeze-all. My ER is on Friday (eek!) and assuming we have embryos after the PGD screening, we will do FET in early November.
Hi All. I have my fet scheduled for nov 10. I have been trying to get pregnant for 10 years. I have done 5 failed ivf during the past years. Along with 2 miscarriages and one still in 2010 (natural pregnancy). My main problem is my tubes. I had them tied in jan because of the hydrosalpinx that I had. I also had the ERA test in May which indicated I was pre receptive and I would need 12 extra hours of pio. I have done 4 ER and currently have qty 12 grade AA embryos frozen. I have done pgs but I do not have any more pgs tested embryos. My embryos are not the issue. Apparently my tubes and lining. So after all this I will be putting 2 hatching blasts in nov 10. I hope to see lots of bfp here soon and I know we all will be thankful
Me Hydrosalpinx(36) & DH 0% morphology (37) Jan 2007- started TTC ( temp everyday and opk and clomid used 12 cycles)
Oct 2010- Natural BFP after 22 months TTC ( NO MEDS USED)

Have 3 NORMAL PGS TESTED GIRLS. 1 "INCONCLUSIVE" embryo still good for use. 7/8- Started AF and Estraidol patches 8/2- FET scheduled ( HUBBY BDAY!!!) and my clinic automatically uses EMBRYO GLUE! 8/2- Transferred 1 6AA pgs tested girl 8/15 - Beta #1 137 I AM PREGNANT!!!! All 9 still growing but 4 are leading and are 8 cell day 3 grade AA. 11/7/16- Fresh transfer of 1 embryo
@adirat - bah, so exciting!!! FX for your ER and also for the days after! Fertilize, fertilize, fertilize! Then, of course, grow, grow, grow! Go embies!
@shauna43 - hello! OMG, just read through your signature - what a journey you have had! I'm so sorry for your struggles, but very hopeful for you this November!
Will this be your first FET since the ERA test? How are you feeling?
My DH and I are dealing with MFI (mainly oligospermia). We did our first IVF earlier this month. I also have very low AMH so we retrieved 6 eggs and from that 5 were fertilized. Unfortunately we got hit with hurricane Irma 2 days later so my fresh transfer was cancelled and all the embies were frozen on day 1.
We are now planning for FET on November 4th if all goes according to plan. I am currently on bcp and will start Lupron next week as part of my (very long) protocol. I'm glad to have you ladies to keep me sane during the wait.
@shauna43 nice to meet you and that is quite a journey. I am hoping November results in healthy take home babies for you and all the other wonderful ladies here!
After 3 ERs resulting in no transferable embryos we are moving on to donor egg IVF. Our donor had her medical screening last Friday so we hope to have good results from that in the next week or so and then get our cycle calendar. This won't be a frozen transfer but this is probably the best thread for me anyway.
I'm really excited to by cycling with such amazing women. It's going to be a great month!

@shauna43 I am so sorry for your loss. I hope this FET is your take-home baby.
@safire3 May I ask you a totally random question -- with embryos frozen so early, do they implant them from frozen or do they try to grow them more before implanting?
@laurad75 You are very welcome here frozen or not!
@funkykey Thanks! I am totally on edge for my eggs to fertilize and grow!
@adirat not random at all because that was my first question as well. They plan to thaw all and try to grow them to blast. If we are lucky enough to have more than one blast they will refreeze the rest. I'm just hoping against hope that they are strong embies and can survive all this!
BTW GL tomorrow! So exciting! My ER was nbd so I hope yours goes smoothly as well.
@laurad75 we are honored to have you here, frozen or not!
@safire3 Interesting! I know some people do day 3 transfers so I wasn't sure what they do with day 1 embryos. I hope they all grow and you have plenty to refreeze! Thanks, I'm also excited about tomorrow (and extremely excited not to have such sore ovaries anymore).
Hey y'all! I was hoping this would go up today! I like @laurad75 will most likely be fresh, but I think this is the right place as well... y'all know me, I will straddle 5 different threads anyway! lol I'm tentative of course because you never know if you get any embies to transfer, and my doc is not a fan of fresh transfers, but I want to give it a go, plus I love this group of girls!!
Hi Ladies! Like @laurad75, I am also donor a fresh donor transfer, but its really like an FET protocol on my end medication wise, so was hoping it would be ok if I joined? Our estimated transfer is like 10/31-11/2, so I may be one of the first transfers of the month, so I am never sure which board to join!
My siggy has all the details, but I'll try to share a brief summary. After 3 IUIS, 1 laproscopy, 1 cancelled IVF, and 2 failed IVFs, we may the hard decision to move to DE this past spring. I'll always wonder how I have moderate DOR and poor quality being under 30 (for a few more days!), but I am so ready to have success hopefully with DE and put this incredibly painful 2+ years behind me. We waited 2 months for our donor to complete her first cycle, then 2 more months for her calendar to work. At baseline a few weeks ago we found out she was pregnant (despite being on the pill supposedly). Obviously we were just devastated and had to start over with a new donor. Luckily we found someone that we liked and was available right away. I start Lurpon on Sunday and then estorgen about 1.5 weeks later. Lots of steps to go through still, as we don't have our embryos yet, but this will be our donor's fourth cycle (she did her second cycle with my clinc last spring and got 10 blasts, 7 PGS normal), so I am really hoping to have at least 6-10 blasts for hopefully 1 and maybe 2 children.
Sorry for the novel, I recognize most of you ladies and can't wait for November to be our month! Who doesn't want July/August babies right?!!
@safire3- wow, I can't believe they had to freeze on day 1! what a crazy story to tell your (hopefully) future children! FX they all thaw great and make it to blast!
@funkykey- So glad they were able to move up your polypectomy! I can't beleive how far they were booked out! Hopefully your luck is now turning and you will be preggo by the time you were supposed to have it!
@shauna43- so glad to see you back on here, though sad we are both still here! FX that they have finally figured it all out the tubes and the ERA!!
@businesswife- good to see you here too, I've been following you and hoping you get just the right number of frosties from this round!!
@adirat-good luck on your ER tomorrow!! POI is a hard diagnosis, but so many on these boards have still had great success!

My FET is scheduled for the week of November 13th. I had to do a freeze all cycle in September due to OHSS risk. We have two,non PGS blasts ready for transfer.
We're TTC #2 and have done two IVFs and one FET this year. #1 took 4 years, 7 IUIs, 3IVFs, 1FET and 2 m/c before we had success. Since we had to do 4 transfers then, that's been kinda my expectation for this go around as well
I have PCOS and DH has some mild MFI issues.

Hi everyone. It's crazy and exciting finally joining the FET forum. I thought that would never be me! I'm 35 with PCOS and my husband has 1% morphology. We are ttc #1 since June 2016. We did 3 IUIs and medicated cycles with TI. We did our retrieval in the beginning of September and have three PGS tested frozen embryos. We will transfer one in November. I did my uterine procedures today and everything looks good! I can't believe the next step is transfer. I love to see all these friendly and familiar faces. I was not super active but such a lurker the past 7 or so months. I can't wait to see all the BFP's!
i need to catch up on everyone's intros but I want to say how honored I am to stand along side you warriors. Thid process is brutal but I think support will help!

Hi there! My tentative FET is Oct. 31, it's almost Nov so can I join here too? I'm with the Oct FET group as well, :smiley I had my ER on the last week of Aug and I got only ONE embaby there waiting with me for our transfer day. This is my first IVF/FET.
Hey! I'm new. I have my FET at the end of October (my RE does this by batches) and I figure I fit into the November board since we are probably at the same stage. I did my ivf cycle in August. Due to a high risk of OHSS I had to do a freeze all, but I have 3 on ice. Right now I'm on lupron and maybe starting patches on 10/5. Anyone on lupron?
@irisheyes81 Thanks for asking! They retrieved 9 eggs yesterday. All 9 were mature and we heard this morning that 7 fertilized! We are really pleased with that ratio We won't hear again until Day 5 (they don't do a Day 3 check because they like to leave the embryos alone to grow).
So guys, great news! From this last cycle, and Sunday ER, we just got FOUR more frosties!!!
We have three from our August cycle too, and this will be our first transfer, so we are super relieved and finally starting to get excited for our November eSET, here... @sunnyrain2 omg Transfer buddies!!! I don't have my exact date yet, but it will be that same week, Nov 13-17. Turns out Friday would give us an EDD of a very special anniversary of my father's birthday, so I'm taking that as a good sign. ;)
Heyyy @tinjp78 ❤❤❤ How are things going with you??? How soon do you start your protocol???
@adirat so happy about your good news!!! :D
@coco35. Welcome! I only did lupron as part of my trigger and for me, it was nbd. I'm sorry you're suffering from all these symptoms.... I have heard it's no so uncommon, tho. Hang in there!
@Irisheyes81 hey!!!! Yeah, I dunno if I turned out to be a lower responder than they thought? Or what exactly. But I feel like I tolerated both ivf cycles pretty well, apart from all the bloating and (gas) pains mostly, and lots and lots of emotions! Lol. But I think I must have gotten pretty lucky that way. :/ honestly the second cycle seemed easier than the first. Go figure!
@JamieH2000 @laurad75 So great to have both of you warriors in the thread!!! (((Hugs))) Please, you are both amazing, and I for one am crazy excited to see you both finally get your BFP's!!! Not going to cry here,.... lol
@shauna43. WELCOME!!!! And what a journey it sounds like it has been for you, indeed! ((Hugs)) fx the ERA makes a difference for you this time!!
@dragonette505 @safire3 @funkykey I just love you guys so stinkin' much! Can I say that, please???? I know I'm probably biased, but this has got to be THE BEST FET BOARD EVER, IN THE HISTORY OF TB!!!! Boom!
Can't wait to see who else joins the party.... ;) ;)
Awesome news @BusinessWife!!!! Now to prepare for transfer! Are you planning to transfer one or two? And of course we love you too!!
@Irisheyes81 and @coco305 I did microdose Lupron for my IVF cycle and as soon as the needle came out after the first dose I got a headache. It was so bizarre that at first I didn't think it was the Lupron causing it. It got better after a few days though. Now I wil be starting 10 units per day on Wednesday so I'm nervous about the side effects as with this higher dose.
@safire3 my clinic is strongly in favour of elective single embryo transfer. I'm 34 with no known fertility issues of my own, so I guess they seem to think it's the best option for me. How many are they doing for you?
@BusinessWife only one. My clinic is the same. Plus I'm 34 as well and I have a chronic illness that makes me high risk from day one so twins would not be a good idea.
@BusinessWife 4!!!! You have 7 frozen embryos. That is incredible. Congrats and yay for transfer in November. I think the date is a very good sign.
@adirat How are you feeling now??? That is an amazing ratio and a very very successful retrieval. Awesome! I can't wait for updates. They checked on mine on day 3 and all 13 lived and then day 5/6 there were only 5. I was glad I didn't know on day 3 because i have been disappointed.
@safire3 And @BusinessWife We are transferring one as well. I think that's become a pretty standard protocol. I wanted to do 2 but got talked out of it.
@coco305 how long do you do lupron? They have me on birth control. I've read so much about lupron protocol and it's SO succsssful!!
hope everyone's Saturday is amazing. I get my transfer nurse Monday

Hello @Irisheyes81 I started my Buserecur nasal spray (Gn-RH agonist, works like Lupron) today, then when I get my AF, Dr will give instructions when I can start my Estrogen patches and Progesterone vag tablets.
@irisheyes81 I did two rounds of BCP in September (I swear I've never gotten my period so often in my life as I have in these last 3 months) and I am on a 12 day cycle of 10units of lupron + baby aspirin - on Thursday I may start estrogen patches, but I don't know if I continue with the lupron yet. October will be estrogen patches and PIO and hopefully I can get a transfer on 10/26
@Irisheyes81@coco305 Thanks friends I'm doing OK, just a little tired and sore still. We're happy with seven and hope they all grow (we have to do PGD and sadly we anticipate half of the embryos will have a genetic disease I carry, and won't be able to be transferred). @irisheyes81 I never thought about it that way -- you're making me glad we don't get a report until Day 5 either!
Yeah, even though my scheduled transfer date is 10/31, I'm still excited for this month. I can't wipe this smile on my face. It's my first try on FET and I'm thrilled. There are things in my head that want me to NOT be too optimistic, like my embaby's quality isn't great ( 3day cell with fragmentation), I only have ONE frozen embie (if it fails to thaw then , wow) But, there's no point on beating myself up with those negatives. I'll choose to be hopeful and I'll just deal with this process with gladness in my heart.
@adirat- congrats on 7! FX lots of them make it to day 5 and you get great PGD results. How long do PGD results take? My understanding with PGD was they usually need to build a probe?
@businesswife- thanks for the kind words!! I may be biased too, but I really hope this is the BEST board ever to haha. I have been on more than I can remmeber, but I hope this is the one we all get our BFPs! Congrats your 7 embryos, that really is a great number! Getting excited is the wrong word, but are you feeling ready to get your polypectomy over with?
@tinjp78- If being on these boards for 1.5 years has taught me anything is that it really only takes 1! FX this is your baby!
@irisheyes81- Does getting your transfer nurse mean getting your calendar too? Yay for getting closer to transfer and November
Looking forward to getting to know everyone and only 30 days until Nov haha!! I start lurpon tonight, and then baseline on 10/9! Last time Lupron gave me a headache for a few days, but hopefully it won't tonight. Whatever it takes to get this show on the road!

@JamieH2000 Yes, the lab had to build our PGD probe before we could start stims. The genetic counselor at the lab told me it'll take 15-20 days for testing after they grow to Day 5 and get biopsied. So much waiting!
@BusinessWife That's great news that you have 4 more. It's awesome that you have had so much good news lately.
My doctor is also pretty adamant that we only transfer one which we are fine with. At 42 I think I would like to do this one at a time.
I love all the activity on this board. It's going to be so exciting!

BTW GL tomorrow! So exciting! My ER was nbd so I hope yours goes smoothly as well.
@laurad75 we are honored to have you here, frozen or not!
I like @laurad75 will most likely be fresh, but I think this is the right place as well... y'all know me, I will straddle 5 different threads anyway! lol
I'm tentative of course because you never know if you get any embies to transfer, and my doc is not a fan of fresh transfers, but I want to give it a go, plus I love this group of girls!!

Back for # 2!
TTC # 1 - 4 years, 7 IUIs, 3 IVF, 1 FET, 2 M/C, DD 2015
TTC # 2 - IVF # 4 March 2017 Long Lupron, 150 Gonal F, 150 Menopur
21R, 12M, 7F, Transferred 2 Froze 1 - BFN
FET # 2 May 2017 - BFN
IVF # 5 Sep 2017 - Antagonist, no BCP. 200 iu Follistim, 150 iu Menopur, Cetrotide started day 5, Lupron trigger
19R, 13M, 12F, No Transfer - 2 "beautiful" blasts frozen
FET # 3 Nov 2017
I did my ivf cycle in August. Due to a high risk of OHSS I had to do a freeze all, but I have 3 on ice. Right now I'm on lupron and maybe starting patches on 10/5.
Anyone on lupron?

Boom!

@tinjp78 Happy to have you here with us!
@BusinessWife Yahoo for 4 more frosties!
Afm, I start my protocol today. Weee!
@tinjp78 can I ask what your protocol is?
@safire3 And @BusinessWife We are transferring one as well. I think that's become a pretty standard protocol. I wanted to do 2 but got talked out of it.
@coco305 how long do you do lupron? They have me on birth control. I've read so much about lupron protocol and it's SO succsssful!!
hope everyone's Saturday is amazing. I get my transfer nurse Monday
@irisheyes81 @tinjp78 You guys are so close! And it's already October 1, yay!

Back for # 2!
@JamieH2000 Yes, the lab had to build our PGD probe before we could start stims. The genetic counselor at the lab told me it'll take 15-20 days for testing after they grow to Day 5 and get biopsied. So much waiting!
My doctor is also pretty adamant that we only transfer one which we are fine with. At 42 I think I would like to do this one at a time.
I love all the activity on this board. It's going to be so exciting!
2017 - egg retrieval #1 - 3 eggs, 0 embryos appropriate for transfer; ER #2 2 eggs, 0 embryos on day 3; ER #3 1 egg 0 embryos
moved to donor egg in summer 2017; 35 eggs retrieved; 19 fertilized; 9 total embryos
Fresh transfer Dec 2017= BFP! baby boy born 8/22/18
May 2019 - surprise natural pregnancy ended in MC
Nov 2019 FET; MC at 9 weeks

Such a good fert report!!! Honestly, day 3 just makes it worse, I think.
