1) How far along are you? How big is baby? 27 weeks. Somewhere between a banana split and a jumbo bag of chips... or a rutabega...

2) How are you feeling? Sleep has been sub-par, but I think it has more to do with the resurgence of summer and humidity that's taken hold here in the last week. I just want fall, leggings, booties and tunic tops. Is that too much to ask for?!

3) Are you having/have you had a shower or sprinkle? I'm like 99% sure no one is planning any sort of baby event for me (it's baby #3). But I did sell, donate, or give away almost all my baby gear after #2 because I thought we were done, so there was a little talk among my two closest friends of doing something, but I haven't heard any follow up there. Ultimately, I'm not expecting anything, and I'm AOK with that.

4) Any appointments this week/last? Next week, 28 weeks and glucose #2.

5) Rants/Raves/Questions? DS started sleeping in his bed this past week, all on his own (he'll be 2 next week), so far it's going great, and I'm just really happy this wasn't a challenging transition for him/us!

6) GTKY: Tell us about your latest pregnancy-related dream LADIES. My dreams have been insane. And not necessarily in a good way. I don't always remember what's happened in the dream, but I have been waking up in a terrible mood about them almost daily. Last night, I had a dream that my aunt got in a car accident and two of my four cousins had died but no one knew which two. Sooooo super unsettling.

29 weeks, acorn squash or apparently a gallon of milk, which seems HUGE!

2) How are you feeling? T.I.R.E.D. crappy sleep 2 nights in a row and I feel like a zombie. It's 11:30 and I am still in my pajamas. Drinking some coffee hoping it will perk me up!

3) Are you having/have you had a shower or sprinkle? Not that I know of!

4) Any appointments this week/last? Nope and nipe

5) Rants/Raves/Questions? I kind of whined about this in the symptoms thread but it continues to.bother me... my abs! I can feel my diastasis stretching and it really hurts And I can't stop thinking about it or rubbing it because it's sore! I'm thinking of getting a belly support like boabe maternity or something but it feels like a waste for something I might only use for 3 months.

Other than that I've gained 6lbs in 2 weeks... ugh... I don't know if it's water weight or what but I haven't really changed my eating... I don't want to have to worry about it but that's A LOT really fast!

6) GTKY: Tell us about your latest pregnancy-related dream

Well not about being pregnant or anything but lately I've been having a lot of nightmares about wolves or dogs chasing me and my family trying to kill us. It makes for a very stressful middle of the night wake up!

I had one shower (swimming in baby clothes I didn’t register for haha) I am having one more next month

Yes! No low lying placenta anymore! I’m off pelvic rest

had an ultrasound and Baby looks great.

Rave- took my first baby class last night. It focused on newborn baby care. It was very informative.

umm... 4some with me and hubby and two other girls. I kept getting mad at him looking at Them. Lol maybe these sex dreams will chill out now that I’m off pelvic rest hahahaha

@balletnerd I feel you on the weird sex dreams. And congrats for your moving placenta!

1) How far along are you? How big is baby?
30 weeks, which is a zucchini? That just doesn't seem right.

2) How are you feeling?
Physically fine but totally guilty about not getting enough protein. I'm not creative when it comes to proteins (I'm a vegetarian), and I barely get enough for just me.

3) Are you having/have you had a shower or sprinkle?
My SIL is throwing me a shower Oct 21. We're having all three families come (H's parents are divorced and recently remarried), so everyone better get along. I'm not doing double or triple the parties this kid's whole life because they can't act like adults. In the meantime, my mom tells people registries are just suggestions and you should get presents based off what the invitation looks like (um, no?), so I'm dreading the amount of returns to make.

4) Any appointments this week/last?
Next week and I'm meeting our new midwife. The previous midwife in our MW/Doc pair just had a baby, so she's busy on maternity leave.

5) Rants/Raves/Questions?
Question - people on the internet seem to talk about percentiles with their babies' growth, but I have not heard anything related to that. At my last appt OB said my baby was on the smaller side after she took my fundal height, but didn't seem concerned. Wait, this isn't a question. I guess, should I ask next time I'm in?

6) GTKY: Tell us about your latest pregnancy-related dream
I was somehow in this grandiose prostitution-type ring, doing various sexual things with the leader, and I really really did not want to be there. When I was able to leave, I called my H bawling because I wanted to come back home. IRL, H certainly got a kick out of the whole thing.

@oncape100615 I am with you on wanting fall!! I don't know what region you're in, but down in the south it is HOT and gross lately. We are getting a cool wave this week and I am so excited to maybe not sweat all day everyday. maybe. And that sounds like a very stressful dream... hopefully those ease up for you!

@failuretofly Those dreams sound stressful!! yuck! I would say not to worry about your weight gain, unless your doctor says something. My weight shot up a lot a few weeks ago, but my doc wasn't concerned and it has kind of leveled back out.

@balletnerd YAY for no more low lying placenta! Also. Whoa! That's quite the dream!

2) How are you feeling? Tired, but I feel like I am having more good days than bad lately, which is a total win.

3) Are you having/have you had a shower or sprinkle? DH's company is having a shower next Friday, and then my mom is throwing a family only party in a few weeks.

4) Any appointments this week/last? Last week was the one hour glucose, failed that. I also saw the specialist and everything looked good. Monday I did the three hour glucose, and I'm still waiting for results. Next week is my 30 week appointments with both the OB and the specialist. And hopefully that's it because hopefully I've passed the 3 hour... fingers crossed.

5) Rants/Raves/Questions? I am in awe of some of you ladies. I see you talking about traveling, or moving, or doing all sorts of other fun stuff, and I'm over here getting exhausted walking to the bathroom from my office and back. Keep on keepin on ladies, you make me fight harder to do more.

6) GTKY: Tell us about your latest pregnancy-related dream. Ummm oh man. I had a strange one the other day where I was at the beach with my dad, when all of a sudden a tsunami came through. No warning, just massive tidal wave. Somehow, my dad, managed to keep both my sister and I afloat while riding the wave. First of all... weird. Second of all, my dad is a good swimmer, but my sister and I were both varsity swimmers who could definitely handle more than my dad... Weird. Weirder still is that literally twenty seconds after the wave died down, we were suddenly on a cruise ship that was sinking with both of my parents, who have been divorced for 15 years, and trying to evacuate.

Such a strange conglomeration of random things.

1) How far along are you? How big is baby? 30 weeks! 3/4 of the way there, feels good. Baby is the size of a zucchini.

2) How are you feeling? Large lol. My face feels and looks chubby and I feel bloated and swollen, especially in my feet. Of course it's not helping that I'm eating all the sweets and carbs.

3) Are you having/have you had a shower or sprinkle? My shower is on 11/5. I kind of wish it was a little earlier because I'm a planner, and I'm starting to feel semi anxious about getting everything together and organized before she comes, especially if she comes early.

4) Any appointments this week/last? Just a check in next week, and then my appts are going bi-weekly!

5) Rants/Raves/Questions? see nursery/shower rant above. I don't want to sound like a selfish brat who wants her presents now, but I really want to have the nursery and house as ready as possible.

6) GTKY: Tell us about your latest pregnancy-related dream I had a dream a few nights ago that the baby was born, but she looked and acted like a 7 year old girl. She had clothes and long hair and was walking and talking and everything. She was ours and everything, and I was in disbelief that such a big baby came out of me but kind of just shrugged and was like "oh well guess you're coming home with us!" It seemed so normal in the dream.

2) How are you feeling? Tired and moody.

3) Are you having/have you had a shower or sprinkle? Wasn't planning one since we just moved out here and don't know many people, but my office wants to have a small party for me. I think it will be nice.

4) Any appointments this week/last? Failed the one hour glucose test so have to take the 3 hour one this Friday. Not helping at all with my moodiness. Never had any issues like this before so I'm just bummed.

5) Rants/Raves/Questions? Tomorrow is my birthday and I am stuck in meetings all day

6) GTKY: Tell us about your latest pregnancy-related dream They are getting bad! We live in the middle of nowhere and one night my husband forgot to set the house alarm. Every night since then I've had dreams about someone breaking into our house...

1) How far along are you? How big is baby? 29 weeks, cauliflower, gallon of milk (?)

2) How are you feeling? Super emotional this week, cried the other day for nothing and I'm not a crier! Still have the leg numbness, but I'm told that won't go away until after he's born.

3) Are you having/have you had a shower or sprinkle? Shower is on 10/21 which is our 5 year wedding anniversary. The wife will have a "surprise" shower at work, probably some time in Oct.

4) Any appointments this week/last? 3 hour GD test today, FX that I passed

5) Rants/Raves/Questions? Signed up for childbirth classes which start next month. I still can't believe this is actually happening!

6) GTKY: Tell us about your latest pregnancy-related dream. Our house could fly and we had a driver who would drive our house all over, wherever we wanted to go. I'm not talking about a motor home, I'm talking about our real 2 story colonial house.

I agree with the heat.. it finally broke here.
1) How far along are you? How big is baby?

27 weeks a coach mini satchet

2) How are you feeling?
Tired. I woke up at 3 am and barely fell back to sleep.
Like im lugging around a 10 lb 10 pin bowling ball. I'm all stomach, which is good, but it's tiring!

3) Are you having/have you had a shower or sprinkle?

October 21 is shower one. My cousin and brothers girlfriend is planning it. I gave them almost 40 names of friends and family on my side. we invited hubby's mom and sisters.. as they are immediate family to us. His grandma was disappointed she didn't get an invite, so we claimed their was a name mix up (MIL and grandma have the same name ironically) and gave her an invite. I am not worrying about showers so I didn't bug/ask if they were throwing me one. I don't expect them to, but there's enough ppl to have a small party so I didn't include their names in this shower. So I'm really hoping there's no fallout..

next one is Nov 4 for some friends I had from a church I grew up in. I'm shocked they're throwing me a shower. I definitely don't expect it.. and I kinda wish they wouldn't go out of their way, but appreciate their kindness.

Nov 4 is hubby's diaper keg party. His friends are super excited
nov 7 or something is a party my work is throwing me.

4) Any appointments this week/last?

Failed my 1 hr glucose test. I'm surprised so many others have as well! Here, it's a 2 hour test for follow up. I'll do that Saturday. They had a special diet they wanted me to follow, thank goodness I'm already eating more than 150g of carbs a day and I don't have to worry about changing anything! Fingers crossed I pass!

any STM or ppl with experience, is there a good chance I will pass the next GD test?

I can't remember my last dream. I'd just love to sleep through the night again haha. It'll be a while for that I know!

1) How far along are you? How big is baby? 28 weeks

2) How are you feeling? pretty good most days, though my belly is starting to feel uncomfortably stretched. I'm not sure this happened so soon last time!

3) Are you having/have you had a shower or sprinkle? No, but my co-workers are throwing me a lunch to celebrate the baby coming. Not sure it will involve gifts; I'm just excited to go out with everyone and celebrate

4) Any appointments this week/last? Tomorrow--I get to do my GD test, get my rhogam shot, etc. Should be lots of fun.

5) Rants/Raves/Questions? I'm definitely with all of you who are over the summer weather. We're getting a cool front tomorrow and I am READY!

6) GTKY: Tell us about your latest pregnancy-related dream: I don't remember any lately! I think I had one the other day where the baby was actually here, but I don't remember the details.

So I love the gif. I feel like her character in that movie is me. LIke I'm a total mess.

1) How far along are you? How big is baby? 30 weeks - I had an ultrasound on Monday and baby boy is 3lbs 10oz!!!

2) How are you feeling? I had a preterm labor scare over the weekend and was admitted to the hospital. I was contracting, no dilation, but effacing. So I'm on modified mobility. Basically if I feel my body acting up, I have to rest, drink tons of water, etc. I had a Fetal Fibronectin test which is better at predicting if you are not going into labor - mine was positive - so I had two steroid shots before coming home just in case this stinker decides to come early. Hoping he stays cooking! If the contractions pick up again, I need to go back into the hospital, so far so good.

3) Are you having/have you had a shower or sprinkle? I am having a sprinkle - total surprise but my mom and sister-in-laws are throwing me one Oct 22!

4) Any appointments this week/last? See above, I have my next check up on Tuesday and will go weekly from here on out.

5) Rants/Raves/Questions? I hate posting on The Bump - these pop up ads (desktop) are SO beyond words annoying. Make them stop.

6) GTKY: Tell us about your latest pregnancy-related dream I keep having labor dreams. Kind of scary given all going on.

@babyison I have no idea what percentile my babe is either. I think it's just a way of tracking measurement, some docs or clinics use it and some don't.

@txmomma16 my midwives couldn't give two shits about my weight gain haha they only ask me half the time, they don't even weigh me in the clinic. I just weigh myself daily in the AM out of habit.

@peachy13 I'm right there with you on the sweets and carbs... probably explains my weight gain haha. Doesn't help that the break room at work is heavily stocked with chocolate bars and chips!

2) How are you feeling? Anxious. About him coming early.

3) Are you having/have you had a shower or sprinkle? A sprinkle with friends in 2 weeks and a work shower at the end of Oct. Feeling very spoiled!

4) Any appointments this week/last? Today. Found out baby is big and told to call if my Braxton hicks increase in number per hour.

5) Rants/Raves/Questions? Was happy to have an ultrasound and see baby today, once I knew that he was healthy.
