@dragonfly87-2 I have been doing chiropractic care for a few years now. @soldiersmom Mine started with swelling on and off and then my hands were falling asleep at night. Then the pain came. One big sign is when you can't touch your thumb to your pinky. About 3% of people get it and 20% of that 3 percent are pregnant.
ETA unfortunately now I have some numbness in fingers on my left hand. I cursed myself.
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
Thanks @dragonfly87-2 and @NYTino24. I've been waking up in the middle of the night with numbness in my left hand for about a week or so now, but no other symptoms. I'll keep an eye on it.

Lol to each his own! If you want to keep it a secret just keep it a secret - and after IF girl you do YOU - you deserve to be unreasonable without question. Though it might get harder to not slip up. I already call Elise her name in casual conversation and if I had to stop I would probably mess up. I had a friend who for some reason wanted to keep the sex a secret from everyone until the baby was born. But she slipped up ALL the time and eventually just announced it at the baby shower and everyone faked surprise since everyone know at that point haha.

This is my final post ladies, and I'm sorry it took so long to get here! Rowan Miles was born 08.25.17 at 9lb even and 21.5". He was TWO weeks early with no medical assistance, he just decided he was big enough and ready to roll. I was positive he would be early, as he was measuring 2-3w big at u/s at 32 and 36w. DS1 was 6lb 12oz, so the big size was a surprise! I had a very fast delivery with DS1 and this one was no different. I did manage to make it in time to have an epidural half an hour before Rowan was born, and neither of us had any complications.
I'll be checking in here and on the grad thread. I miss you ladies, and will continue to cheer you all on as you get your BFPs and have your LOs. The support here is top notch and wish you all the best.
Hey @izza2 Just curious - had we ever come to an agreement on how many weeks PP we should still tag people to come and update? Tagging people who gave birth in July seems pretty far PP to me, but I can't remember if something specific was decided when we last overhauled this thread?

I have no idea. I think it was generally agreed that everyone could check in once PP and then they'd be removed from the tags? I removed anyone who did share PP that I saw and anyone who hadn't been on TB in a while (as in months). I just didn't want to remove anyone else, especially after the way things went when that was discussed.

*How far along are you? HA four weeks....! I had a really hard time conceiving my son and it took fertility meds and serious timing. This time around, it was two cycles and not even great timing! But I was addicted to temping and POAS and got a positive at 10DPO. And so a shout out to those of you who haven't had "fun" TTGP, hang in there. It can really suck but it can also be really great. You never know.

@theshannondee There are so many things about your post that really grate my nerves this evening. Congrats on your BFP but as you were not a contributing member this was in no way shape or form the appropriate place to announce it.
I would gif my emotions but I couldn't find one that I currently relate to that wouldn't get me a warning.

@theshannondee Really??????? So you come on here, post a whole 2 times (both of which were on the TFAS thread so not everyone would have seen it) and then rub your 2/2 BFP in the faces of the lovely ladies on this board??? Not only did you post something that was inappropriate, you also posted it in the wrong place!! This isn't the place to post your BFP, it's the place for all of our friends who we developed relationships with to come back and update us on how their pregnancy is going! You said you struggled conceiving your son...then you should have been able to tell how this post would be taken by the ladies on this board that are currently struggling. If you have actually lurked as much as you said you did, you would've known that was the case and just quietly moved on to your BMB!
While we are happy to see people get their BFP, I truly will never understand why anyone thinks that we care that they got it if they never made an effort to get to know the ladies here!

Seriously, why? Why would you think any of us want a pep talk from someone we don't know who got pregnant after two cycles with "not even great timing"? I find it hard to believe that you lurked for six months but somehow missed that drive-by BFPs are hurtful and unwelcome here...

@antoto@izza2 At one point, it was discussed to give ladies one last chance to check in PP so this month would be Aug through June due dates. I'm not sure if something more was discussed after that or more recently

@theshannondee I can't even today... I LOVE reading the grad thread so I can see how people I actually like are doing. What I don't love is some stranger inviting themselves when they openly admit they don't "belong". @theshannondee This was a really bad day before I saw your post, so yeah....thanks for that. I am off to "not have fun ttgp" Congrats on your fbp. But.....
@theshannondee Hey, want to know why I didn't have FUN! TTC *TW* because I lost two babies, one of whom I had to force my body to miscarry through the use of medication, sobbing "my baby, my baby" while clots slipped out.
Then, when I finally got pregnant with one that stuck, it was with a nurse running a catheter with semen through my cervix with my feet in the stirrups. So excuse me if I didn't think that was FUN! because I don't have a creepy medical fetish.
Eta: As someone who had to involve doctors before, your post is even more abhorrent because you should understand.
If you were truly even a lurker, you would know how absolutely out of line (and misplaced. Try reading those words at the top.) your post is. Posting at all was wrong but the content is horrible. You should be ashamed of yourself. And, now you've gone and ruined one of my favorite threads.
Enjoy your BMB. I hope you have lots of company from TTGP.

@theshannondee Oh yeah, it's been a big ol' ball of fun having a doctor slice into my husband's testicles to try to find sperm, only to discover that there's not a single swimmer. I mean, I really can't think of anything sexier than that. Some of us need "a whole village and medical intervention" for the hope of getting a BFP. This is slowly starting to feel we might actually get a take home baby (and like maybe we should start making and checking off a to do list). It's just kind of hard to believe still. I was waiting to update until my appointment last week. It comes in little bits and I'm still using my doppler about once a week. I think I might be starting to feel skritching around in there so I might be done with it, soon. I'm excited for when it becomes definitely baby and not potentially my imagination or 15 other things. I think that might be when I finally feel pregnant. And, as always I miss you guys and am hoping so hard for the day that I come back here and I don't know a single soul.

DS2: EDD- 09.08.17
I removed anyone who did share PP that I saw and anyone who hadn't been on TB in a while (as in months). I just didn't want to remove anyone else, especially after the way things went when that was discussed.

*How long were you active on TTGP and when? Big 'ole lurker for the past six months. Finally did an introduction post a couple months back and then went back to lurking. I FAIL I KNOW.
*Which birth month board/due date? June 2018. When you gonna get a board up?!
*Team Pink/Blue/Green? TBD.
*How are you doing picking out a name? Feel free to share it. We have an Elliott and he will either have a little brother Owen or a little sister Rennie.
*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? I'm just excited and in awe that it didn't take a whole village and medical intervention to make this pregnancy happen.
I would gif my emotions but I couldn't find one that I currently relate to that wouldn't get me a warning.

Hello old friends, good to see you!
***As a courtesy to those still TTC on this board, please do not post bump pictures here.***
If you were a regular poster on TTGP we'd love to get an update on you this month! Please tell us how you are doing!

@theshannondee As a long time lurker, you had to know your post probably wouldn't be taken well...as the bolded sections above clearly do not apply to you, as you stated so yourself. Your post here is equivalent to a drive by...you know what those are right? You know from all your lurking days??
While we are happy to see people get their BFP, I truly will never understand why anyone thinks that we care that they got it if they never made an effort to get to know the ladies here!

I can't even today... I LOVE reading the grad thread so I can see how people I actually like are doing. What I don't love is some stranger inviting themselves when they openly admit they don't "belong". Congrats on your bfp fertile myrtle but please just post in May 18 until June 18 is up and leave us "not having any fun ttgp'ers" alone. You are rude and rubbing your magical ute in our struggling faces. Have a friggin' heart man.

And I hope you "have fun" doing it
Then, when I finally got pregnant with one that stuck, it was with a nurse running a catheter with semen through my cervix with my feet in the stirrups.

I'm sure you are going to be welcomed into your BMB with open arms and unicorn glitter.

How are you doing picking out a name? Feel free to share it.
Haha. We're nowhere on this. I have a couple lists in notes on my phone from, uh, 2016 but I can't even find the boy list because I brilliantly put them into two separate notes.
Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share?
