Re: Monday Ticker Change 9/25
1. How many weeks are you? How big is baby? 9 weeks. Baby is the size of a cherry!
2. How are you feeling? Not good. The exhaustion is pretty severe at this point and taking B6 throughout the day hasn't made a difference for me. I left a message for the OB office asking for the prescription meds, so hopefully I can get those soon.
3. Any appointments coming up? 10/11 is my next appointment with my OB and I am waiting for my NT scan referral to go through so I can set that up as well
4. Rants, raves, questions? Rant- work is very, very busy right now and I'm having a hard time keeping up with my meetings, observations, and presentation schedule. Rave- we are going to see my grandparents tonight and we are going to tell them we are expecting another baby. I'm so grateful to still have both of them and I know they'll be excited about another great grandchild. Question- Those who have taken prescription meds for HG, what did they give you and did you have any crazy side effects?
5. GTKY: What could you give a 40-minute presentation on with absolutely no preparation? Training for a race (5K, half marathon, etc.) or working with students with autism.
1. How many weeks are you? How big is baby? 8 weeks--size of a Denise's pygmy sea horse (or a raspberry).
2. How are you feeling? Okay. Nervous my nausea has subsided quite a bit.
3. Any appointments coming up? Next Tues is my first appointment! Hope everything is okay.
4. Rants, raves, questions? Would really like my nausea to come back and wish my BBT wouldn't randomly drop for a few days (I know you're spsd to stop temping, I have no willpower). Hopefully my appointment next week quells my fears.
5. GTKY: What could you give a 40-minute presentation on with absolutely no preparation? I'm passionate about traveling and my most recent trips were to Asia, so I'd say where to go/what to do if you have a few weeks to explore Asia.
I also could talk for hours about celeb gossip, but that's not really something I am proud of...just a lifelong guilty pleasure.

1. How many weeks are you? How big is baby? 8w - Raspberry
2. How are you feeling? Okay. Nausea on and off. Insomnia is no fun and the exhaustion sucks especially with an 11m/o who is teething.
3. Any appointments coming up? I am seeing my PCP tomorrow and I assume that she will refer me for a dating u/s.
4. Rants, raves, questions? I only had one pp cycle and didn't realize that I was pregnant (thought period was late due to wonky cycle) until last week. I'm not sure when I O'd so I'm just going off of LMP. Hopefully I can get in for a dating ultrasound. I'm still surprised by all of this, we tried for over a year with DD.
5. GTKY: What could you give a 40-minute presentation on with absolutely no preparation? Wedding planning. I owned my own business for 5 years and then closed up shop when DD came along.
1. How many weeks are you? How big is baby? 9 weeks! Baby is the size of an Eastern tailed-blue butterfly.. or a cherry.
2. How are you feeling? Like absolute shit. I can't stop dry heaving. Keeping anything down is a challenge. I'm exhausted all the time. I'm so ready for this stage to be over.
3. Any appointments coming up? I'm actually considering switching practices. The current practice doesn't allow for a VBAC and I think I'd at least like the option. I'm supposed to meet with the current's billing department on Friday, but I think I'll cancel and ask for a referral to a new clinic that allows VBAC. We also have another genetics appointment soon. I think I'm doing a carrier test to make sure I don't carry a translocation for Angelman Syndrome. I'll know more about that later this week.
4. Rants, raves, questions? Just generally annoyed at feeling like shit. I wish I was one of those moms who thought pregnancy was beautiful and everything about it was wonderful. But I'm not one of them. I think pregnancy sucks.
5. GTKY: What could you give a 40-minute presentation on with absolutely no preparation? Dysphagia- or swallowing disorders. I do modified barium swallow studies for all day everyday and LIVE in research for typical vs disordered swallowing disorders.
I am just so blasted tired
Appt isn't for a couple of weeks (oct 13 I think)
rave: I am battling a freak autoimmune response that no one can seem to identify. I'm overall healthy, never had anything like this before. I feel so defeated right now. And even if they figured it out, I doubt they would Medicate me this early in pregnancy.
DS born 9/3/13; DD born 7/22/15; LO due 5/28/18
FS (age 5) and FD (age 2) to become AS/AD very soon!
I was in Japan 2013 for my friend's wedding and got to visit Osaka (and various cities along the mainland). We had such a great time. I'd love to visit my friend again (she lives in Tokyo) someday.
And DH and I tried to get a bunch of traveling in pre-TTC. But there are still about a billion places left on my travel list. It always seems to grow longer no matter how many places we visit

We actually lived in an RV for 6 months and travelled quite a bit this past year. Our original plan was for me to take a travel therapy job and we'd travel across the US. Those plans immediately fell through when DS was diagnosed with Angelman syndrome- he needs a neurologist and intensive therapies and we could guarantee we'd get that with all of my travel assignments.

2. How are you feeling? Bleh, tired and sick, sick and tired.
3. Any appointments coming up? I had a dating scan yesterday so May 14 DD is official!
4. Rants, raves, questions? Really, really hoping this shit starts easing up by 9 weeks like is has the last two times, but it started sooner this time so I'm a little terrified it's going to go on and on....
5. GTKY: What could you give a 40-minute presentation on with absolutely no preparation? Uhhh, I suppose I could give my masters thesis presentation again.... oooh no, id have way more fun rambling about best strategizes for different board games! But in general I avoid public speaking like the plague!
