1) How far along are you? How big is baby? 24w, GI Joe
2) How are you feeling? Any cravings? Pretty good, the heartburn is starting to bother me but I still have quite a bit of energy which is nice because I thought that was over with a couple weeks ago! No huge cravings.
3) Any appointments this week/last? I'm doing my GD screen on Wednesday morning next week.
4) How are your baby preparations going? (Nursery/ Registry/ Etc.) The only prep we've done for him is buying him some clothes, and I just bought a double stroller last week. No nursery-he'll be in our room for the first few months, plus we're moving hopefully in March so it doesn't make sense to decorate and then take everything down. Registry is just for myself to get completion coupons for diapers and things!
5) Rants/Raves/Questions? I've mentioned before, but I'm extremely nervous for the GD screen. Last pregnancy, I was already dealing with elevated BP and things just weren't going well. This time around everything else is looking really good, so I'm just waiting for the other shoe to drop I guess.
6) GTKY: What was your first job? Does babysitting count? I had a regular family I babysat for when I was 13. Other than that, I worked in the kitchen at my boarding high school starting when I was 15 until I graduated.

Sleeping a little better this week so that has been helpful. No big cravings though I think my sweet tooth has intensified!

Had a general OB check up Wednesday which went well. Follow up AS on Monday (last one doctor couldn't get a good look at babys face.

want to get started on some craft projects for the nursery but it's just been too busy. Hoping DH can set up the crib next week

Today was day 12 in a row of work so just ready for a weekend off! Also it's 92 degrees here and I thought I was in the clear not needing to buy maternity shirts, wtf?!
6) GTKY: What was your first job?
I grew up on a diary farm so I helped my dad milk cows when I was probably 7 or 8? After I had enough on the farm, babysitting and working at a nursing home in the laundry dept in high school

Pretty good! No real cravings.

Nope.

Pretty good! Registries have been done for a while, we just add/remove stuff every once in a while. Nursery hasn't even been started but we might at least start on replacing the flooring next weekend. We do already have some of our nursery furniture, it's just boxed up.

6) GTKY: What was your first job?
I did babysitting and work for my mom at her company growing up but my first outside job was working as a cashier/game clerk at a pizza place/arcade in high school. My first "real" job out of college was working front desk at a fancy schmancy bed and breakfast owned by a local luxury real estate company. It sucked and I couldn't even live on my salary after taxes and insurance. I lasted about 4-5 months before quitting without even giving a 2 week notice. They shut down like 6 weeks later.
1) How far along are you? How big is baby? 23 weeks ~ a grapefruit
2) How are you feeling? Any cravings? just trying to figure out a good sleeping technique. I don't recall this already with my son. But I've always been a side sleeper and keep finding myself waking up on my back. And holy back pain the whole next day
no cravings this week!
3) Any appointments this week/last? Wednesday for 24w
4) How are your baby preparations going? (Nursery/ Registry/ Etc.) registry is basically complete and sprinkle is planned. Nursery is on hold for a while. Our house is complete disarray from remodeling several rooms lol
5) Rants/Raves/Questions? Rant: why are girl names so hard to come up and like? Also why do husbands have to be so dang difficult. (He thinks it's completely weird for me to want to have a name already and says we have plenty of time left)

Nope, just awaiting my GD testing.

Registry is done, finally have my mom and I on the same page as far as baby shower plans go (she wanted a surprise, ladies only thing but I wanted a co-ed shower and I need info to ask for time off work for it)

When do in-laws finally let go of their baby boy and realize he has a family in the making of his own? #askingforafriend
6) GTKY: What was your first job?
I worked as a sales associate at New York & Co. I am a dirty boots and jeans kinda girl so it was a challenge for me to dress up everyday!
