I go from being fine on Wednesday to getting steroid shot on Thursday

I saw my OB Wednesday. I got a talking to about drinking enough due to dark urine. I do drink, but the AC has been broken in my room and it is fricken hot...  my bp is starting to creep up at the end of the day, 130s over 80s, so we did some extra labs due to a history of pre-e.  But overall everything seemed fine. Then I saw MFM and baby looks good, but apparently I had placental bleed earlier this week and I had no idea. It is crazy at work, and I had to set stuff up, but I thought I was being pretty careful. This freaked me out, as if it continues I could get placental abruption. Then my OB's nurse calls while I am at MFM and my liver enzymes were elevated so they need me to do steroid shots, fasting ultrasound and blood work, abd more labs. It might all still be just fine.
I hope so.

    Good luck @kyethra! Fingers crossed your body cooperates and that you can get some rest this weekend.

    The liver ultrasound looks good, at least for the preliminary report, so that is good.  My bp has stayed good as well.  I had both steroid shots, so if I do develop pre-e or something else there is that at least.  Some of my labs will be back on Monday, but the rest will take the rest of the week.  I am keeping my fingers crossed that the fasting labs are what they want and everything else is ok too.  I am trying to be extra careful as well-- today I took my 5 year old grocery shopping with me and he had him help put things in and out the cart and carry in the heavier objects out of the bags so the bags themselves weren't heavy! And I talked to my students about how they now do things involving moving stuff around-- they are on board.
