Our sweet little peanut! Got a bit of a surprise in that I am measuring a week ahead...so 9w2d instead of 8w2d. I'm not really sure how that works but I guess I ovulated a lot earlier than I thought, though we TTC a bit after I would have ovulated. HB was 177. My DH and DD (18 mos) were both at ultrasound so it was sweet to have our whole family there
8+1 today, measured 8+2, so pretty much on point. Due date is 5/3/18. This was a transvaginal ultrasound. Saw the heart beating, but didn't hear it Looks healthy, though, so that's all that matters! Any ramzi theorists out there?

We had our first scan today! Our tiny son is 6w4d and measured just right, we had a visual heartbeat 135bpm and were so relieved and overjoyed. We had our reproductive endocrinologist who has been with us though the whole journey, and transferred little one - she was so excited for us! I didn't even picture this day when we started. In the picture baby is sandwiched between the yolk sac and the wall. He's on the right hand side which I have felt since implantation haha. Our next appointment is in 2 weeks on the 9th to check size and hear the heartbeat this time and my MIL will come too, as she is coming to visit from the other side of the globe.
Had my first ultrasound yesterday! The tech said things looked good. He didn't tell me the heartbeat so I'll have to check with my midwife on that. I thought I was 7w6d but the tech did I'm 7w2d. I'm a bit disapointed/bervous about that because last pregnancy I went in at 8w3d and left at 6w0d which resulted in a MC. Things feel good, seem good but I can't help but be paranoid. Any tips or advice? What are you all doing for the next few weeks until your next appointment to stay calm and positive? (I see my midwife at the end of October which feels like forever from now). Being two weeks off of your expected due date vs a couple days is a world of difference. Your ultrasound can be off by +/- 3 days so I think you're on the spot for this one!

If I'm only 6w3d then I found out I was pregnant at 2w6d. Which is ridiculous. I am trying really hard to chalk it up to implanting later or ovulating even later than I thought. We only had sex on 8/20. It's the only day we could have conceived. So I'm hoping that those spermies lived in my body for a few days and my baby is just a tad small. Oh and they thought I was 9w today based on lmp. Like I knew that was wrong but not this. So I'm trying really hard not to cry and think something is wrong. Talk me down please.

The measurement can be off by 3d which puts you much closer to your estimate. I think you're fine, these ultrasound measurements are not perfect. A good heartbeat is a great sign!!

The exact same thing happend to me with my DD! I had gone in to my first ultrasound expecting her to measure 8 weeks but was only measuring 4, even though the only time we had had sex was just once, around my ovulation day 8 weeks prior. It was nuts and we went through about 4 different due dates, but everything ended up being fine and my OB chalked it up to a wacky ovulation cycle that time around. It sounds impossible, but try to relax and enjoy that strong little heartbeat!
I know I could have ovulated later but finding out at 2w6d is what's really throwing me. That's both HCG draw and HPT. Who ever heard of getting a positive test (either one) at 6 or 7dpo? I really hope the US is off. My other babies were and are small kids. I'm trying really hard to just think of that.
@sparkymcgeee that could be completely possible. You could have implanted later, plus a smaller baby! Also, sperm can live up to 5 days in there so that can push back the time too!
@sparkymcgeee - I think the fact that they saw a heartbeat is a great sign. I agree with the PP - US can be off a little. It can be hard to get an exact measurement. Was your doctor worried? If not, as hard as it is I would try not to worry. When is your next doctor apppointment?
@sparkymcgeee I got a positive at 7dpo... and my HB was 125 at 6 weeks 5 days. It jumped to the 170s. Don't freak out. Hopefully you see big growth at your next ultrasound. I did a lot of research on this and there were plenty of mamas that had storiies just like yours with happy endings. Deep breaths.
I had an ultrasound yesterday. Showing I am 3 days behind which makes me a little nervous but the doctor didn't seem at all concerned. My LMP said I should have been 6w2d and the ultrasound dates me 5w5d. They aren't changing my due date unless still behind at my 10 week appointment and ultrasound. We heard the heartbeat which was 105. She said everything looked great. I'm excited but so cautiously nervous since I have had a previous m/c.
Went yesterday to see our little blob lol (our nurse/tech was great, super funny) Measuring 7w1d (yesterday), so our adjusted due date is May 15th instead of the 8th which we knew was a very strong possibility. Saw the strong little heart flickering away at 150 (i swear she said 159, DH says she said 150. but either way!) Couldn't be happier!!!

Had our first appointment and ultrasound yesterday. Baby is measuring right on time with what we thought...7w5days and had a heart-rate of 160. Due date is 5/11! This is our second and still doesn't feel real! I think when I start showing and feeling the little one move, it'll sink in!

Little one is measuring a week ahead for the second week so my official due date is April 24th. Heart rate is 164bpm. Little one was moving around being all cute for momma and dada.
