Any mothers to be taking Lovenox?

I am taking Lovenox 1x daily but have not been told if I will be switched to Heparin at 36 weeks. Has anyone taken/taking this and what was the plan your doc and you decided on? I have read that a lot of women switch to Heparin and then are induced.

@rel_1987 sorry not on lovenox just low dose aspirin, so I'm not much help. I think there is a december mom on it, I can double check for you...

@wabash15 thank you very much! I am also on low dose aspirin. Are you on it the whole time?

@rel_1987 yes, I started LDA when we started fertility treatments and will stay on it through the pregnancy. Last time I stopped about 2 weeks post delivery mostly because I ran out. (I am heterozygous factor V Leiden, but don't have a history of clots)

Thanks for your response @wabash15. I have an appointment tomorrow where I'm going to verify with my RE what they want me to do. I have protein S deficiency, mtfhr, and pai-1 which is why I'm on Lovenox and LDA.

I started Lovenox during my FET cycles but only 30ml per day. When I went to maternal medicine for my 1st trimester screening she upped it to 60ml because of my weight (200lbs). My OB said yesterday that he will leave me on that until 36 weeks and then switch me to heparin as well. I'm also taking a baby aspirin daily. I thought maybe it was because of my history of blood clots, the pre-eclampisia/hemerage I had last pregnancy (2013) but maybe it's something newer that they are doing. I was surprised that he didn't say something when he was checking the babies heart rate cause I've been bruising bad but its better if I ice it afterwards just depends on my morning if I do that.

@thucks yes I have been bruising bad too but I try to use an ice pack as much as possible. Will you be induced?

@rel_1987 Not that I am aware of. I had a c-section with the twins and assumed I was having a scheduled c-section with this baby but he's asking me to consider a natural vbac.

Oh okay. I am going to ask my doctor more about this tomorrow since this is my first time taking Lovenox.

@thucks I have to go see a MFM on Thursday before my Obgyn would settle on a concrete game plan since I have 3 blood clotting disorders. I'm praying to know more then and hope someone can help answer my questions and ease my mind.
