So my belly button hasn't popped, and the area around it is flat. I can tell from my profile in the mirror, I have this rounded bump with a little flattened part, lol. Anyway, the flat part is totally hairless! I guess from friction? It's super weird to me.
This is going to sound weird, but I don't think I'm eating enough. I'm not sure what to do, or if I even need to do anything?
Thankfully I haven't felt sick for a few weeks now and am no longer having any aversions, but I don't really ever seem to feel hungry anymore. I'm a big-ish gal who is not a picky eater and loves food so it's not really a conscious choice of not eating, I just don't think of it because I get busy and don't feel hungry-- this was the norm prepregnancy too. Most days it's lunchtime before I have even a little bit of a snack, let alone a meal. I usually have a normal dinner since DH and I are together then/have cooked.
I'm scared I am hurting DD with this pattern but don't know how to force myself to eat when I'm not hungry. I find myself having something in the evening that's really calorie-heavy just to say I got the calories in, but not much nutritional value is added (a couple of cookies or a bowl of cereal, for example). Is is anyone else feeling this way?
@MJDsquared It's really picked up for me too! I was going 2x per night and now it's at least 3. I feel like my motto for 3rd tri is "I need to pee. Now."

I'm so anxious about my 3 hour test tomorrow. I don't handle needles well, and along with being terrified of nausea/vomiting this is pretty much my worst day ever. The only instructions my doctor gave me were to restrict carbs for about 3 days before. I've been eating mostly protein and vegetables with a little fruit over the past few days.
Any advice on whether I should completely avoid fruit today? Anyone have positive 3 hour test experiences to share? (I've already heard the horror stories, I don't need those!) I'm so overwhelmed with trying to figure this all out and get through tomorrow.
Anyone else finding baby movements uncomfortable already?!?! This kid must have repositioned herself recently because it feels like she is trying to escape! It is borderline painful when she gets going!
@jamiekay123 with my first I did miserably at my 1 hour and passed my 3 hour no problem. My biggest problem with it was being stuck in the office for so long and feeling a bit queasy during.
@kvacmak all the time. His kicks are so much stronger than DS1's ever were and he kicks often. It took me forever to fall asleep last night because I couldn't get comfortable with him kicking so much lol
@kvacmak one of mine (the boy I think) has started kicking my bladder, so I'm not a fan of that, but neither of their kicks hurt at this point (knock on wood).
I realized this weekend that I've started getting braxton hicks. I barely feel them, but I noticed that the top of my stomach/abdomen got really hard to the touch on a few different occasions so I'm pretty sure that's what they were. I'd thought that I'd be more aware of them happening and that they'd be uncomfortable.
I don't love the kicking either. It doesn't hurt per se... but it's annoying especially when I want to sleep haha. And I think I had my first Braxton hicks once yesterday
@kvacmak This week I haven't loved the movements either. He's gotten so much bigger and stronger and I feel a little bludgeoned when he really gets going.
I wish the twins would chill out on the whole tap dancing on my bladder thing, but the movements don't really hurt. I have had a few strong ones that startle me, but they don't necessarily hurt.
I've been having what google has diagnosed as symphisis pubis dysfunction. It feels like I'm being stabbed in the groin/vagina whenever I roll over in bed or put weight on one foot!
Haven't been around in a few weeks. I'm now 29+1. OB called today I have 3.8 protein in urine and Fred flinstone feet. Hurts a lot. What can I do other than elevation to help with swelling?
@cmillar36 Epsom salt baths! I've been doing them regularly and they help immensely with swelling! Make sure you put A LOT in. Like 2 or 3 cups f salts!
@BabyWnumbertwo I have it, too. A support belt helps (even while sleeping!). I also went to a chiropractor and I have seen improvements. I try to put my pants on on the bed too about balancing on one leg and I roll over in bed with my knees together, both of which minimize the pain. It's lame!
