1) How far along are you? How big is baby?

28 weeks! An eggplant!

2) How are you feeling?
pretty good aside from some aches and pains.

3) Have you settled on baby's name? How is the nursery coming along?

Kind of settled, but DH came home one day last week with 3 more names to add to the contenders. Also, I got him on board with one of my favorites if the baby is born during Hanukkah (Leora).

No nursery--this little one will be in our room for a while, and then share a room with DD.

4) Any appointments this week/last?

nope, but I need to get my tdap and rhogam shots this week.

5) Rants/Raves/Questions?
Rant: I woke up at 4am this morning for no good reason. I didn't even really need to pee. wtf? Thankfully I fell back asleep.

6) GTKY: If you could have dinner with any famous person (TV/movies, singer, politician, artist, etc), dead or alive, who would it be? And what would you eat?
Hmm...This is tough! Maybe a writer (I'm a librarian, so no big surprise here!). How about Edith Wharton--we could have high tea or something fabulous at a swanky NY restaurant. Or Willa Cather and we could eat al fresco at a New Mexican restaurant. Or Octavia Butler! I'd take her to a nice restaurant in SF.

1) How far along are you? How big is baby? Umm I think 26 weeks.. gosh things are staring to run together

2) How are you feeling? for the most part OK. kid still loves to sit on the nerves in my pelvis...

3) Have you settled on baby's name? How is the nursery coming along? name is still up in the air. It will probably be a while before we settle on something. THe nursery has stalled. we have the second toddler bed for the twins but have yet to pull the trigger on moving them into them. Its just so nice having them corralled... I did put a bunch of our gender neutral newborn/3month cloths in the dresser so thats started.

4) Any appointments this week/last? not really. next check up is in 2 weeks

5) Rants/Raves/Questions? we got our minivan this weekend! hooray! it has so much space... I feel like this kiddo can come and we'll be alright now.

6) GTKY: If you could have dinner with any famous person (TV/movies, singer, politician, artist, etc), dead or alive, who would it be? And what would you eat? oh gosh this is tough... president Roosevelt to talk about conservation, some of the founding mothers like Abigail Adams... ohh Aristotle would be interesting. maybe indian... but I think thats because I'm craving it...

1) How far along are you? How big is baby? 27 weeks - Lettuce

2) How are you feeling? - Not too bad, heartburn and pressure, but still have some energy.

3) Have you settled on baby's name? How is the nursery coming along? Memphis and no nursery, he's going to be in the room with us. I did get his quilt done and his name sign to match his brother's for their room.

4) Any appointments this week/last? Appt last week, nothing exciting. Next week will be glucose and another ultrasound.

5) Rants/Raves/Questions? Rave - DH has become increasingly helpful, more than normal, it's been kinda nice since I have a few projects we still need to get done.

6) GTKY: If you could have dinner with any famous person (TV/movies, singer, politician, artist, etc), dead or alive, who would it be? And what would you eat? I need to come back to you on that. I've never been able to answer this question.

1) How far along are you? How big is baby? im 27 weeks, size of a bike helmet apparently

2) How are you feeling? better now that I'm eating better. I was having some issues not really feeling like myself and it was definitely diet related. Of course the 3rd tri aches and pains have commenced, but overall I'm feeling ok.

3) Have you settled on baby's name? How is the nursery coming along? yes we have baby's name. And the nursery hasn't really started lol. We are separating DS1 and DS2 and will be finishing up their two rooms this weekend, and then next weekend we will start on the nursery

4) Any appointments this week/last? i had my 2 hr glucose test today and then I have a midwife appt next Tuesday.

5) Rants/Raves/Questions? none today

1) How far along are you? How big is baby? 29 weeks, acorn squash?

2) How are you feeling? physically the last few days I've been feeling good. I feel like she moved and stopped hitting the nerve in my uterus causing the lightening crotch. Emotionally I'm just on a rollercoaster!

3) Have you settled on baby's name? How is the nursery coming along? her name is Riley Marie. Things are starting to come along this weekend we got a dresser so we can start putting things away.

4) Any appointments this week/last? i just got done with my 2 week appointment. It didn't go so well. My blood pressure is up again so they upped my BP medicine she said this happens a lot. Also she informed me that in 2 weeks (week 31) I'll start having Ultrasounds and non stress tests weekly from then on out. So I guess they finally answered my question if they would make me start coming weekly before week 36. She said because I have multiple high risk factors the high BP and GD that they want to monitor Riley closely for the last 2 months. I had a feeling this was coming but I didn't expect the ultrasound every time. It's going to be so expensive I will hit my high deductible sooner than I thought. Whatever it takes to make sure she is healthy. Just trying to stay positive.

5) Rants/Raves/Questions? Rave: i had a long talk with my DH about being more involved and what I need from him. Saturday morning he came home with Rileys dresser and he figured out which strollers are compatible with our carseat.

6) GTKY: If you could have dinner with any famous person (TV/movies, singer, politician, artist, etc), dead or alive, who would it be? And what would you eat? I think I'm going to pick Elvis and maybe some good southern bbq.

29 weeks, baby is as big as a pineapple, acorn squash, a Care Bear, or a gallon jug of milk

2) How are you feeling?
Feeling good, but definitely getting more frequent bouts of general discomfort as baby gets bigger and crowds my abdomen. Awkward stretching and organ punching = no bueno.

3) Have you settled on baby's name? How is the nursery coming along?

Yes we have, and the nursery had stalled for a bit, but we're starting to make progress again now. We also bought the stroller/travel system, which isn't technically nursery-related but felt like a HUGE step forward.

4) Any appointments this week/last?

Another appointment this Friday, but all the "fun stuff" (glucose test, rhogam, etc) is done, so I think they'll mostly be boring check-ins from here on out.

5) Rants/Raves/Questions?
Rave to my DH who has been very sympathetic to my discomfort-induced laziness and has stepped up to help around the house. Rant to my discomfort-induced laziness.

I have no idea why I posted such a hard question, sorry guys! I think I'd choose to eat seafood with Princess Diana because she was such a beautiful person, inside and out. Or steak with Barack Obama, because the conversation would be fascinating. Or sushi & Korean BBQ with Morgan Freeman, that guy has to have some great stories. Okay, yeah, screw this question!
