How far along are you? How big are the babies? 26w4d with a singleton. I can't believe we are almost 27 weeks!

Any appointments this week/last? None until the 25th, but that day we have a cervical length ultrasound, glucola testing, ob appts, and labs! Whew!

GTKY: Who would you want to play you in a movie in real life (and your SO and kids if you want)? My first thought was Rachel McAdams. Not sure why, but I think she'd be good! For my SO I'm not sure if any of you have ever seen the Netflix show Hell on Wheels, but for whatever reason I feel the actor Anson Mount (you might need to google him) in that show reminds me a lot of my SO. It might be the beard.

Not sure who would play the kids!

What rants/raves/questions/advice? I said to my SO the other day, do you realize that at this time during our last pregnancy we were only 5 weeks away from having babies? I don't want to frighten any of you, but by 31 weeks we had our boys! I'm just really hoping all of our babies stay in longer than that! I felt really off yesterday and made one of our MA's at work take my blood pressure and everything seemed normal. I felt better after a good nights sleep, but it was a definite reminder that things can change quickly.

@tmk0325 I'm finally coming to terms with the fact that there's a very real chance these could be Thanksgiving babies rather than Hanukkah babies! It's crazy how close we're getting now!

Any appointments this week/last?

Had a really quick OB appointment on Thursday. Met with a different doctor from the practice since they're going to start rotating who I see so I meet everyone. I like my regular OB better, but overall he seemed nice and everything went fine. I also have what will probably be my last ultrasound at the MFM next Tuesday and I'm psyched because my sister will be making a trip up from Baltimore to be there for it.

GTKY: Who would you want to play you in a movie in real life (and your SO and kids if you want)?

I have no idea! I don't feel like there are any actresses I can think of who really look like me or emulate my personality! I'm going to have to ask DH if he has any ideas lol.

What rants/raves/questions/advice?

Rave: Just really excited to see my sister since I only get to see her a few times a year. She's going to stay for Rosh Hashanah too which will be nice. I'm also planning to ask her while she's here if she's okay with DH and I putting her in our will (once we draft it for the babies) as the designated legal guardian if anything were to happen to us. I think it's going to be a really meaningful conversation between us.

28+3, size of a rollerskate, or in this case a pair of rollerskates! Measurements today were 2lb 10oz and 2lb 13oz.

Any appointments this week/last?
MFM today, all looks great, cervical length still around 4cm and watched baby girl kick baby boy during the US!

I saw Home Again over the weekend and just really love Reese Witherspoon, even if we look nothing alike.

What rants/raves/questions/advice?
I'm just in a state of limbo and uncertainty right now with the whole GD thing. Nutritionist hasn't called, I don't know what I'm allowed to have and I have really been craving sweets this whole pregnancy, so I'm pretty bummed about all that.

Raves: maternity photos in less than 2 weeks and my cousin is coming over tonight to color my hair so I don't have to go to her salon! Then baby shower the weekend after maternity photos.

Any appointments this week/last? I had to repeat the repeat of my old lady ultrasound because they apparently did not get all the images needed, but thankfully all looks good. now nothing for 3 weeks then my OB consult for VBAC and GD testing

GTKY: Who would you want to play you in a movie in real life (and your SO and kids if you want)? I have no idea... I'm really bad with actors/actresses.

What rants/raves/questions/advice? This kid really loves to dance on my bladder/cervix and sit on nerves, especially in the evening it sometimes get really hard to find a comfortable position to sit/lay in with out aching or shooting pains. Raves I hope we get our mini van this weekend as long as the dealership does not sell it before we can get there on saturday...
@tmk0325 fx this one stays put for longer.
@leilagphillips I'm glad your sister will be able to visit for a while. We asked my brother to be guardians for the kiddos and it was a very sweet moment. I know if something were to happen to us they will be in great loving hands.
@KathrynJ088 sorry about the GD. I think just trying to minimize sweets and carbs. though the occasional small treat should still be OK. I know for me when I am trying to minimize sweets a small square of the extra dark chocolate (its fairly low in sugar) once a day goes a long way to help curve the cravings and keep me from eating things I shouldn't.

How far along are you? How big are the babies? 26 +3 with the twins

Any appointments this week/last? Just got through with a MFM appointment. The twins are both head down and facing my spine. While that is a good sign for labor in several more weeks, it means that they were unable to confirm sexes for me again and that they couldn't get the necessary readings on Baby B's bladder and kidneys. Next appointment is Oct. 2. Wow, we are moving into October with the scheduled appointments.

GTKY: Who would you want to play you in a movie in real life (and your SO and kids if you want)? Hmmm, my real life is kinda boring. Maybe Alexis Bleidel.

What rants/raves/questions/advice? I passed the one hour glucose test! My thyroid levels are good so staying put on the meds. I might have done some ridiculous 70's dancing in my chair at work after that phone call. Baby care class and multiples Part 2 + hospital tour on Sat and Sun.

@stella_700 thats great news about the glucose test and thyroid levels!! sorry the babies are not cooperating with the sex ID, but it's great news that they are both head down. Are you going to try for a vaginal delivery or are you leaning towards c-section?

@wabash15 I'm hoping to try vaginally but I know that my doctor is leaning c-section for me. We will discuss that and pediatricians at our next appointment. I've already decided to get the epidural/spinal block just in case of emergency with the second twin. There is no way I'd greet these babies under general anesthesia unless absolutely necessary.

After last night I do have questions. Is anyone dealing with massive snoring/sleep apnea/breathing issues at night? What did your doctor recommend? I'm on my side but had a scary episode last night where I had trouble getting my breathing under control even well after I woke up. I got up, had a glass of water and a snack and then my husband helped prop me up with pillows to get back to sleep at around 4:30 or so this morning. Needless to say we are both dragging hiney this morning.

Had two back to back appointments on Monday. One with my OB, who scheduled my GD test. Barf. And one with the US techs to measure growth, etc. twins are looking good

Ugh, I don't know. Probably Jennier lawrence because she's totally pretty and my girl crush. IDK about the hubs.

What rants/raves/questions/advice?
This week has been INSANE. Yesterday in particular, I pushed myself waaaaay too hard with stuff and my back is killing me today. I'm going to relax before I have to work at 2:30 and take it easy tonight.
Does anyone notice that they feel one baby more frequently than the other? My baby b is super active, but my baby a is pretty mellow. Now that they're kicking a bunch, I get nervous when I don't feel baby a as much

@breezybee Are you feeling more rested? I feel baby A much more than baby B. I'm not sure why that it is. They are both positioned head down facing my spine so I just think that baby B is more chill than A. Keeping track of their movements as we get further along scares me a bit also. I know that is a conversation with my doctor for the next visit on the 28th.

@KathrynJ088 I'm bummed for you on the GD test and super annoyed that the nutritionist hasn't followed up with you yet. Have you heard from them since you last posted?

Fail on my part. I just went to take a pic and post on hdbd to discover that you can see the outline of my bra and maternity jeans through the shirt I chose this morning. Lovely. I'm telling myself its the horrible lighting in there.

@stella_700 I did not have any breathing problems but I know some other moms who did and said that sleeping propped up (~45degree angle) helped, son not necessarily on your side but it also helps with heartburn if that becomes an issue. I'm sorry you had a scary night. Hey if those babies cooperate I say go for a vaginal.
@breezybee take it easy girl. Its easy to push too hard and then you pay for it especially with twins. My baby A was way more active than B, he was also my uterus hog. also @stella_700 I never did fetal kick counts with the twins. I guess my MFM wasn't too concerned because they can move around and it can be hard to tell who is doing the movement (though baby A was always on my right and B on my left ... that being said she liked to go transverse and he was always head down) I did have a day or two when I had not felt much if anything from B but I would quickly US myself at work... )

Hi!!! Sorry, I went MIA for a few days, it's been crazy and I'm exhausted. Like go to bed right after the kids do level exhausted.

I am scheduled for a nutrition class tomorrow.. not sure what all it entails, but am glad to be getting more info finally. I definitely over did it on the cutting carbs after I had a really high reading from eating rice, and my body already hates me for it. Glad everyone is doing well!

@tmk0325 OMG 31 weeks would not be enough time! I still have so much to do :so. I haven't fully moved into SO's house and I'm planning on buying an SUV or crossover since I need something else anyways. I still have no clue what I want to get though.

@KathrynJ088 it's so funny to see how the babies interact with each other. The last US I had, they were facing each other like they were playing. One time, baby boy hit baby girl on the head.

@wabash15 I think these two like to tap dance on my bladder too.

@stella_700 Yay for great test results! Hopefully, they can get the measurements needed in Oct and tell you the sexes.

I had one last week and my hemoglobin is a little low, but thyroid was perfect. The babies are doing fine though.

I'm not sure. I said Paula Patton before, but her roles usually annoy me because she's overly bubbly and ditzy.

What rants/raves/questions/advice?
Rant: I'm just uncomfortable all the time and every time I use the stairs (up or down) I feel the urge to pee.

@clovelyone pregnancy can be so glamorous! I was pregnant in the winter with the twins and had to pee before I stepped out side or I'd have to turn right around...

@clovelyone @wabash15 every time I stand up I have to use the bathroom. At night it's awful--I am waking up once an hour to go, even if I limit water for a few hours before bed. I was taking Benadryl at night to help with sleeping, but I just learned in a breastfeeding class that it can impact milk supply (I assume once the babies are here, but it still makes me nervous) so I stopped that, so I'm back to using the bathroom each hour throughout the night. We will all have relief soon!!!

Last night I had a dream about our MoMs group! I don't remember specifics, but I think it was about a post from either @clovelyone @breezybee or @tmk032 (or maybe more than one of you). That's the first time I've ever dreamed about any sort of online communication/forum I'm a part of lol.
