We are a Penn State family through and through. Both my parents attended, one uncle, myself, my two siblings, and my husband. Obviously we bleed blue and white, but I am not going to "force" or pressure my child to go there!
Michigan alumni here! Husband went to Oklahoma State so we tend to follow both teams. I would love for my kids to go to Michigan (any excuse to visit Ann Arbor) but honestly unless college tuition had a complete overhaul, I would recommend an in state option!
Me: Texas A&M, where I went to undergrad. It's unfortunate because no matter how much money is thrown at the program they almost always seem to suck. DH: University of Wisconsin, which is more fun to follow. We went to watch them play in the Rose Bowl twice. We both went to grad school at the same school but neither of one us follows their athletics for whatever reason.

It's great to be a Michigan Wolverine!!! Alumni and former cheerleader here
DH is a Michigan State alum (we met in high school) and it makes for an interesting rivalry sometimes. We actually said in our wedding vows "I promise to love and cherish, except on Michigan/Michigan State game day" that got some chuckles.
Texas A&M is where I went for undergrad, and I've been hooked ever since, even when we suck. I love college football though, and will watch most Big 12/SEC games, because I know the teams. My husband is also an Aggie, and he has crazy college ball passion too.
DH and I both went to a college without a football team but he grew up in Kentucky and is a HUGE university of louisville fan. Tough one last night but I thoroughly enjoy sports and love watching with him for football and basketball.
@cards10 I was actually wondering if you were a lpuisville fan/alum from your screenname!

I am a split team supporter. My parents are Ohio State Alumni and therefore grew up a Buckeye fan. I attended Nebraska and when we went B1G 10 I put my alliance to the Huskers (right now that seems like a very poor choice). Hoping that we can pull our season together. It has been BRUTAL.
MH and I are big Michigan fans (yay @JJMNO1616 and @cards10) but I am an alumna of a smaller MAC school in the mitten.
I went to Western for Undergrad and UM for Grad school. Got to go to the Cotton Bowl game out here in Dallas this past season to see Western play which was awesome. I typically watch more UM football but this past season for WMU was definitely one to remember.
Huge Ga Bulldogs fans in my house. My dad went to Ohio State so I'll root for them also but I grew up watching NFL. Wasn't until we moved south that I really started getting into college football.
I went to every home game except one while I was a student (massive term paper I had to work on so I missed that one). I loved going to the games, but I'm just "meh" about watching football on TV so I haven't been following much in last few years.
For Basketball, usually Butler or IU.

Nebraska fans here. I think it's going to be a looooong season. I also follow Texas A&M. Up until this year, my BIL was the director of recruiting for them so we went down to at least one game a year. I love College Station! Him and my sister relocated to Nebraska to be closer to family, but I still watch.
Husker fan here also! And I agree about it being a tough year....again. Seriously, how many 're-building' years do we need??? Hopefully we can see some changes on Saturday! GO BIIIIG RED!!!!!
Texas Longhorns! No, did not attend. I paid for my own school and worked full time so I hopped around to 3 different schools, whichever I could find that accommodated my schedule to be able to work full time. Grew up in Austin though, so always been a fan.
@jbn999 me too! Loving our Lions. So glad that things are finally falling into place for us after rebuilding. I also was rather annoyed with Bill O'Brien during his time there and felt like he did us dirty leaving like that.
I totally agree @tooraloorah! I was not a fan of BOB and felt like he was using us to get ahead to his next position. He had nothing invested in us. I love Franklin and think he has poured his heart and soul into the team. I cannot wait to see how the rest of the season plays out. I pray we beat OSU so I can have bragging rights and my DH can finally shut his mouth!
University of Wyoming. I haven't always been a fan especially since my freshman year they were terrible. We have some good years and some bad and we aren't on the scale as other schools but I still love the team.

Although I live in Wisconsin, my family has had 3 generations go to Veterinary school there. So it's in my blood. Lol
My DH is an Ohio State Buckeye fan (even though he didn't go there), so it truly is a house divided!
