  • 1. How many weeks are you? How big is baby?
    14- a peach!
    2. How are you feeling?
Great! I have a cold, but other than that, it's pretty easy to forget I'm pregnancy honestly.
    3. Any appointments next week?
    None till October!
    4. Rants, raves, questions?
MY DAUGHTER JUST GOT HER FIRST TOOTH! I'm so excited! Finally!
    5. GTKY - What movie or show can you watch over and over without tiring?
I'm not big on rewatching things. But I do love Disney movies and the Harry Potter movies.

  • 1. 14 weeks. A peach! That seems huge lol

    2. I feel great  :# I have some (what I assume is) RLP every once in awhile but mostly I feel like myself! I can't even read the symptoms thread because it freaks me out.

    3. Yes, next Friday! Just another listen for the HB appointment I think. And they are testing me for gestational diabetes.  :(

    4. Nope!

    5. Gilmore Girls. I think I've probably watched the entire series 5 times and will watch any episode when it's on and I'm channel flipping.

    1. How many weeks are you? How big is baby? 14 weeks

    2. How are you feeling?  still sore from the cerclage, but MFM cleared me.

    3. Any appointments next week? had MFM appointments for post cerclage and things looked good.  I didn't get answer for all the pain.  He said my cervix, uterus, and placenta look good.  Baby looks great.   He looked at all the organs and those look good so far.  The heart is still too little to really get a good look, but is looking good for her size.  Now I will be monitored every two to three weeks.

    4. Rants, raves, questions? still feeling morning sickness.  That's a bummer.

    5. GTKY - What movie or show can you watch over and over without tiring?  When I was little I liked the old parent trap.  That's it.  I can't re-read things or watch things as an adult.  It's weird.

  • 1. How many weeks are you? How big is baby?
    12 w, plum I think...

    2. How are you feeling?
My energy is coming back a bit.  Excited to be close to getting first tri over with!

    3. Any appointments next week?
NT scan is Friday!  I'm sooo nervous.  I hope everything goes okay.

    4. Rants, raves, questions?
Is it March yet?  Can we fast forward?

    5. GTKY - What movie or show can you watch over and over without tiring?
Oh man, I am a crazy re-watcher - TV shows though.  I've watched CSIs, Criminal Minds, The Office, HIMYM, Arrested, and Parks and Rec multiple times.  I should mention that I'm typically not just watching these - I like having something on while I do stuff around the house and these are my go tos.

    -------------------------------------------------
@ShawnnaO Your DD is almost one right?  It is crazy to me how different teeth can be for kids.  My DD turned one two weeks ago.  She has had all 4 on top and bottom in for months.  And just last week she cut her top molars on both sides (that was a fun week... not).  Yay for teeth!  Also my sister is 17 month younger than me and lost her baby teeth/got in her adult teeth before I did.  The downside to teeth - biting.  DD bite a daycare person today.  And once last week too.  At least it wasn't another kid?...

@JBcakes08 I don't read the symptoms thread either.  ;)  15 weeks seems early for GD test - did you have it with prior pregnancies?

@k318 Just in case you're typically on mobile - your ticker says you're 271 weeks pregnant.  :D

@DDRRT1982 Glad to hear your cerclage is looks good - it seems so odd that you have no explanation for the pain you were having.  And yay for baby looking great!  Sorry to hear about MS still going - hope you get a break soon!

  • @becausescience she turns one on Saturday! Her top four have looked like they're about to push through for a couple weeks now, and then with no warning she wakes up from a nap with her bottom tooth! I was so shocked! I'm hoping that's what was causing all of her stuffiness and the low-grade fever she's had. We'll see if those go away now.

My kids biting another child is my worst nightmare. At least it was an adult :D  That and them being the kid at someone else's birthday party that tries to open up all the presents.
  • @ShawnnaO Oh, she did bite another kid back in June.  (She was like 9ish month old.)  I had to sign a form.  It was terrible.

Our ped said that teething shouldn't really cause fever, but I found she was definitely a little warm when she was teething.  So.. who knows.

  • @becausescience this is my first pregnancy but I'm overweight. My OB said this puts me at a higher risk so I am getting screened early. I'm trying to keep positive, but also a little nervous. My husband started grad school and is gone nights. So instead of cooking for myself I've been eating out a lot which I'm sure isn't helping anything.

Lots of scans this week! Good luck to everyone!

  • 1. How many weeks are you? How big is baby?
    12 weeks! A plum!
    2. How are you feeling?
Still nauseous and tired all the time.
    3. Any appointments next week?
I have one this Friday! First one in 4 weeks, so anxious to hear baby's heartbeat for the first time.
    4. Rants, raves, questions?
Eating food is still tough. Most things make me sick or make my tummy ache as soon as I eat them. I'm still having that bad taste in my mouth too.  Yuck.
    5. GTKY - What movie or show can you watch over and over without tiring?
I love  pretty much any chick flick...Like the movies sweet home Alabama, how to lose a Guy in 10 days, maybe he's just not that into you, when Harry Met Sally, and I'll admit that I love all those step up movies!

  • 1. How many weeks are you? How big is baby?
    14 weeks - a peach!

    2. How are you feeling?
Overall much much better, but the heartburn, shortness of breath, and RLP are all really starting to kick in.

    3. Any appointments next week?
Yep, not actually 100% what's going on at this one though, just a monthly check I guess.

    4. Rants, raves, questions?
I very much want to eat my spaghetti for dinner, but right now the heartburn's so bad that I'm afraid of the tomato sauce -.- Also today's new level of hell: Nipples that itch badly, but are also too tender to scratch at.

    5. GTKY - What movie or show can you watch over and over without tiring?
I have a bunch: Road to El Dorado, Rocky Horror, Hellboy (especially 2), Victor Victoria, Holy Musical Batman by Team Starkid, and as long as I've let some time pass between rewatchings- Venture Bros, FMA: Brotherhood, Slayers, 90s Sailor Moon, Gundam Wing, Gargoyles, and more that I'm sure I'm forgetting.

  • 1. How many weeks are you? How big is baby? 15 weeks -- an apple!

    2. How are you feeling? I feel great, still, just tired on my really long days. I left the house at 7:15am yesterday and got home at 10:45pm, so I think I'll be feeling it throughout the day today. My DD had a few nightmare moments last night, so she was up twice which means I'm fairly certain I didn't hit REM.

    3. Any appointments next week? I have my 16-wk. appt. next Wednesday which I'm not excited for. I have a colposcopy and it stresses me out.

    4. Rants, raves, questions? I "popped" over the last week, and I have a noticeable pregnant bump that looks like a bump rather than just thick body, which I can appreciate, but it also looks about a month ahead of where I was with my other kids at this time, so I'm curious if my belly will get that much bigger at the end--dun dun dunn!

    5. GTKY - What movie or show can you watch over and over without tiring? Friends!!! I  Friends and could watch it over and over. I think it helps that there are so many episodes that I don't have to rewatch one for awhile so I don't get tired of it  I don't prefer to rewatch movies, but DH does it all the time. Shows like Big Bang or Modern Family that make me laugh or redo worthy in my book!

  • 1. How many weeks are you? How big is baby?
15 weeks - an apple or naval orange?

    2. How are you feeling?
Much better...my nausea has really dissipated which is fantastic! Just tired lately, because I seem to be a bit restless at night.

    3. Any appointments next week?
Monday is my 16 week appointment. I've been a little anxious just wanting reassurance that everything is still ok and baby is still growing. Although by the look and feel of my bump lately...lol.

    4. Rants, raves, questions?
Rave - I've been a bit MIA lately because I had a huge certification exam to take last weekend. I passed, thank goodness! I feel like now I can focus on our new house and nesting and all of that good stuff!
Rant - So far I've been able to wear my prepregnancy dress pants to work because they were always a tad big in the waist. I think it's time to find some maternity dress pants and I'm dreading it because I feel like nothing will fit right.

Oh, and @calecorvus I totally have the itchy yet tender nipples too, it's horrible!

    5. GTKY - What movie or show can you watch over and over without tiring?
I'm not a big fan of rewatching anything really...my husband will watch the same movie 3 times in the span of a few weeks just because it's on tv. It drives me crazy!
  • 1. How many weeks are you? How big is baby?
    14 - peach!

    2. How are you feeling?
Nauseated, but I haven't actually thrown up. (Complete opposite of my 1st pregnancy, when I'd feel perfectly fine 1 minute and be puking the next.) I honestly wish I could just throw up already if it would mean I'd stop feeling nauseated. I'm sure all you moms with morning sickness would disagree.  :)

    3. Any appointments next week?
    Nope, none for a month.

    4. Rants, raves, questions?
We're in the process of moving - we've bought a new house and are trying to sell ours. It's only been listed 1 week, but the stress of keeping it sparklingly clean is giving me a headache!

    5. GTKY - What movie or show can you watch over and over without tiring?
OMG, Gilmore Girls. Not to story-top any other GG-fans, but I'm currently watching the full series through for the 8th time (in 6 years). It never gets old.
  • Sorry for being so late to the party, and absent for a couple of weeks.  Morning sickness has been kicking my butt, so by the time I get home from work its been basically straight to bed for me (in fact I'm typing this from bed in the middle of a Sunday afternoon).  Thankfully I have an amazing DH who has been handling everything on the home front, and making sure I know that its OK to focus on me right now.

    1. How many weeks are you? How big is baby?
    13, lemon (I think)
    2. How are you feeling?
Pretty darn crappy.  I'm down nearly 10lbs and struggling to eat one meal a day.  This is worse then any of my previous pregnancies, so has taken me by surprise.
    3. Any appointments next week?
I had my NT scan this week (all looked good).  I have much bloodwork next week and see my hematologist Thursday.
    4. Rants, raves, questions?
Nope.  Just feeling sorry for myself.
    5. GTKY - What movie or show can you watch over and over without tiring?
None really.  I'm not much of a re-watcher.

Glad to hear that most of you are feeling well now.  I'm hoping the second trimester honeymoon phase kicks in for me too.

@DDRRT1982 yeah for the good looking cerclage, etc.  Sorry about the pains with no answers.
