Anyone else have costocondroitis?

Apparently I have this which is an inflammation of the cartilage between the ribs and sternum. I can only take Tylenol, which does nothing for inflammation! It often feels like my back and ribs are on fire. Anyone have this? Any ideas on how to ease the pain?

    I have never heard of this but it sounds terrible!  So sorry!  When I first read the post, I thought it was some kind of addiction to Costco.

    I've not had it during pregnancy but use to get it chronically when I was younger and smoked and it was HORRIBLE!  It felt like a damn heart attack.  I haven't had it in pregnancy though... I think you can use arthritis meds like glucosamine (if that's safe in pregnancy) to help ease it & Vitamin E to promote healing. But I always took the 600 or 800 mg Ibuprofen as well.

    So sorry you're dealing w/ this now! Ask your doctor what's safe to take for it and maybe you can get some relief.
