Rave: DH's cousin went into labour last night!! This little babe will be the first of the generation in the family..everyone is very excited. I haven't heard any news yet this morning, dying for an update/picture!!
CS/Q: A general question about ovulation - do women typically alternate left and right ovary, or is it completely random?
GTKY: *stolen from TWW* What are your NBR (Non-baby related) goals? There is a position in the local government here that I very much would like to move into within the next 5 years...it is my dream job.
@canucklehead123 As I understand it, which ovary you ovulate from is pretty much random. Are you interested in an elected government position, or is this on the non-elected side of things?

R/R: There's a chance of thunderstorms today, so we're going to the Ren Fair tomorrow instead. Oh well! Today gets to be frantic prep day instead. My cd 3 bw came back and the doc said everything looked normal, so that's good! MH and I are going to head over to a coffee shop for the day to get out of the house and get our work done there, but I'll have more time to bump today. Yesterday ended up being ridiculously busy.
CS/Q: Not much to see yet, but chart is in spoiler.
GTKY: *stolen from TWW* What are your NBR (Non-baby related) goals? The goal of all academics: tenure! Also, I'd love to be able to buy a home.
R/R: Rave- It is so nice to have DH back....no rants today! All we've done today is grocery shop, and now DH is cooking a fabulous dinner for us.
CS/Q: How early in a cycle have y'all ovulated? I'm seriously cramping on my left side, I also had EWCM this morning. Not a ton, but it was definitely there. My temp as dipped a little...So weird
GTKY: *stolen from TWW* What are your NBR (Non-baby related) goals? Career wise, I would love to have a management position with the VA....or work in patient advocacy in some way within the next five years. Personally, I'd love to start running again and train for another half marathon.
@canucklehead123 I also think that you will randomly ovulate from both ovaries, but I could be wrong. Hope y'all get an adorable, and happy update soon! Exciting!
@darkstar42 So happy that your labs are normal so far. I know that doesn't give you any answers, but it's definitely a good start to your testing phase. Sorry your fair plans got cancelled today. Hope you guys make it tomorrow!
R/R: On a work trip and probably going to O tomorrow (I thought it would be today, but only "high" OPK). Will be home tomorrow so hopefully we can squeeze in another BD!
CS/Q:

GTKY: *stolen from TWW* What are your NBR (Non-baby related) goals? I guess just doing well at my job and travel. Shorter term goals are always reading more. I also want to teach my dog more tricks!
@josie12367 So glad you have YH home again! My earliest O has been cd 12. I usually get a few days EWCM, so that does start around cd 10 if I'm going to O early. @JennyColada Fx you get another chance to bd before you O! What tricks does your dog already know?
@darkstad42 he knows how to stare at you blankly when you tell him to do something! Lmao. But really, he can sit, lay down, and "come to the curb" (for walks, since I make him wait to cross the street). He can also crawl in small distances. I'm trying to teach him to handshake, but I don't think he feels good about that one, so may need to focus on something else.
@canucklehead123 yes its random, but of course as there are only two then you can get a pattern of alternating sides for a few months, so it might seem like that. Also that is assuming both ovaries function the same - if one has had some damage then you might get more ovulation from the "normal" side
@darkstar42 when I hear tenure I always think Ross from friends lol

@canucklehead123 so exciting!!! Do you live close to DHs cousin??
@darkstar42 Glad your cd3 bloodwork all came back good. Will you meet with the RE before your next cycle? Also are you in the twin cities? What area do you want to buy a house in?
@josie12367 The EWCM and temp dip are both often cause by estrogen surge. That's typically before ovulation. I usually O between CD 13 and 17 and getting EWCM starting around 4 days or so prior.
@JennyColada Is this your first work trip with the new job??? How is it??

WAYDTGKU: OPKs, HIO, still bugging DH to make his appointment (just realized I forgot to take my OPK with FMU - oops!)
R/R: It's so cold here this weekend! I am not prepared! We are still going to venture out if the rain holds out. First we have to pick up a wheelchair so I can push DH around the street fair. Our friends are taking bets on how many people I take out...

GTKY: *stolen from TWW* What are your NBR (Non-baby related) goals? I need to focus on my health/weight so starting Monday I am going all in. Gym, running, and healthy eating! Im thinking about setting a distance running goal/time. My town has a Turkey Trot on thanksgiving that's really popular so I might try to do the 5k. Hopefully that type of goal would be some motivation. I have totally slacked on my health this year because I keep thinking I'll be KU soon and it won't matter.

@MrsMiller8588 I do have an RE appointment set up, but it will be in the middle of my next cycle (mid-October). Of course I'm hoping to be ku and be able to cancel it, but realistically I'll probably be going. Before then I'll be seeing my ob/gyn again, around 10 dpo of this cycle. Not sure how useful that appointment will be, but we shall see. I am in the twin cities! I think we'd like to buy in south Minneapolis. We really like the area. @emmasemm I'm sorry the ivf drugs are having so many side effects, but that's so sweet that YH is taking care of you so well. What kind of birthday cake did you get yesterday? @JennyColada I have cats, so I'm very familiar with that blank stare. Haha. But it sounds like your dog knows a lot so far!
@MrsMiller8588 yes it's my first trip! It's going well. The manager that I closed with last night was kinda getting on my nerves, but I don't need to work with her so it's no biggie.
[TW]One of the other managers just found out she's KU. -_- Funny coincidence though. Thanks cosmos, really enjoying that one.[/TW]
Good luck with your training! Just take it one step at a time! I try to "run" when I can, but it's usually 80% walk and 20% jog. But as long as you get the activity it's all good!
@darkstar42 Being from ND we go to the twin cities quite a bit since it's the closest "city". I'm also hoping you will be KU and can cancel but if not hopefully you will be able to move forward with a plan! I'm pretty sure the clinic I will be referred to if DHs numbers don't improve is in Maple Grove.
@JennyColada How exciting!! Sorry about your coworker... I'm pretty sure the cosmos are playing a joke on me too. *TW* my S and SIL and KU, my supervisor is on mat leave, another coworker is KU, and two of my best friends had babies this week... /TW I feel like instead of waiting until Monday maybe I should put shoes on and start now! Or I could stay on my couch and read a book....

@mrsmiller8588 Thanks! I'm thinking I might O earlier than normal this cycle...Which is exciting considering it was day 38 last cycle! Good luck with the gym goals...It's so hard to get there when the weather starts turning cold. I hope I can get the motivation up for it myself!
@emmasemm Happy late Birthday! So sorry you feel like poo, but I'm glad your DH is taking care of you so well. I'm also in an MBA program...congrats for the end being in sight! So exciting!

@canucklehead123 for the most part I believe it is random, though some women recognized a pattern. My sister goes left, left, right.

GTKY: *stolen from TWW* What are your NBR (Non-baby related) goals? I've kind of "made it" in the scheme of what I do. I'm a social worker for a hospital, which is a good job, especially for my field.
My passion is with animals. I want to foster animals eventually. But my dream would be to open my own animal shelter on 10 acres of land. Let senior dogs live happily and find homes for as many of them as I can.
@jrm_14 I don't have any secrets! It was his suggesstion. He wanted to go get tested and I said the dr's will say it's too soon. I told him about the 3/day vitamin and all he said was yikes.
We just got them yeaterday, so I'm sure there will be forgotten days. He's taking fertilaid--bought it from Amazon. It's worth a shot!
Sorry to P&G yesterday, the day go to away from me! Thanks all for answering my question!! You've given me lots to think about - especially that both sides won't necessarily be the same timing-wise. This is making a whole lotta sense for my bod!!!

I usually O between CD 13 and 17 and getting EWCM starting around 4 days
or so prior.
@JennyColada Is this your first work trip with the new job??? How is it??
Month/Cycle: 9/10

WAYDTGKU: OPKs, HIO, still bugging DH to make his appointment (just realized I forgot to take my OPK with FMU - oops!)
R/R: It's so cold here this weekend! I am not prepared! We are still going to venture out if the rain holds out. First we have to pick up a wheelchair so I can push DH around the street fair. Our friends are taking bets on how many people I take out...
CS/Q: nope
GTKY: *stolen from TWW* What are your NBR (Non-baby related) goals?
I need to focus on my health/weight so starting Monday I am going all in. Gym, running, and healthy eating! Im thinking about setting a distance running goal/time. My town has a Turkey Trot on thanksgiving that's really popular so I might try to do the 5k. Hopefully that type of goal would be some motivation. I have totally slacked on my health this year because I keep thinking I'll be KU soon and it won't matter.

CS/Q: I temped 1 day 2 hours early, and now FF made that the only solid dot with a bunch of open circles.
GTKY: *stolen from TWW* What are your NBR (Non-baby related) goals? I'm not sure that I have any that I am currently working towards or are short term. I would eventually like to go back to school for an MSN, but I'm not in the head space to do it yet.
@canucklehead123 for the most part I believe it is random, though some women recognized a pattern. My sister goes left, left, right.

@canucklehead123 yay to yh's cousin! I know i alternate, or at least I seem to. If my cycle is 30-32 days thos month than my hypothesis seems correct. One side is 30-32 days. Thw other side is 36-42 days.
@darkstar42 oooo have fun at ren fair!! Glad tp hear your bw came back good
@josie12367 im so glad yh is home

@josie12367. What's YH making?! Is he a good cook?
@darkstar42. So glad your be came back well. FX it is only taking a little longer &you won't have your RE appt in Oct. ((hugs)) have fun at the ren fest!
@canucklehead123 I pattern. This month is righty. I have a sneaking suspicion that this side has a shorter LP than lefty.
@emmasemm. ((hugs)) FX so hard for you. Hope you get to feeling better & your H continues to pamper you. Looks like, you've had a lot of joint pain. I sincerely hope it hasn't been worse than usual. ((hugs))
Sorry if I missed anyone!!

WAYDTGKU: just GDTPT. Woot! OPKs & PNV. I'm not doing much else, just in case all the teas & seeds & what not are having an impact. I want my bw this cycle to be my body as a solo show.
R/R: I went grocery shopping by myself today!! The last 2 years I have missed out on Halloween Oreos. I bought myself a nice big family pack
CS/Q: Nope. Did not sleep well, so I did not temp this morning!
GTKY: See the Northern Lights. Ride in a hot air balloon. Sit in seats RIGHT behind home plate of a MH & my's teams playing each other. Have abs. Travel Europe w/ MH (I've been...I want him to go with me!)
Eta I know what you mean about having an H that cooks. I'm no slouch in the kitchen myself, but DH is a fantastic cook and it's awesome!
@jrm_14 I hope you get to put your "buckets of fertile CM" to good use

R/R: I've had a great day hanging out with the family.
CS/Q: Just waiting. Waiting. I had some EWCM today so I'm hoping O is tomorrow. We would have decent timing if it was. Regardless, probably be HIO the next few days.
We just got them yeaterday, so I'm sure there will be forgotten days. He's taking fertilaid--bought it from Amazon. It's worth a shot!
Thanks all for answering my question!! You've given me lots to think about - especially that both sides won't necessarily be the same timing-wise. This is making a whole lotta sense for my bod!!!
