MTHFR gene mutation and pregnancy

Hey everyone! I was wondering if there are any ladies that have had a successful pregnancy and are positive for the MTHFR gene mutation? I recently learned I am positive, and I have had a rough road trying to get pregnant. I have had 3 miscarriages and many, many failed attempts. I need some hope that it may happen for me. 
Also, if you are postive, and know what it means... I would appreciate some info on it. Im trying to learn more about it, and what it means for me.

Unexplained Infertility- Postive for MTHFR Gene Mutation

Natural cycles with 1 miscarriage
-3 IUI's w/ Clomid= BFN 
-IVF #1-Follistim and Menopur= BFN
***11 Eggs, 10 mature, 8 fertilized, transferred 1 (day 5) 2 made it to freeze
-FET #1- Transferred 2, day 5 embryos =BFN
-IVF #2- Follistim and Menopur = BFN
***11 retrieved, 8 mature, 6 fertilized, transferred 2 (day 3), 4 made it to freeze (Follistim and Menopur) = BFN
-FET #2- Transferred 2, day 3 embryos = BFN
**Changed doctor**
-IUI #4- natural cycle = BFN
-IUI #5- Follistim (5 eggs) BFP- lead to Miscarriage  :'(
-Laproscopic Surgery for Endometriosis, Polyp removal and Cyst removal. 
-IVF #3- Menopur, Follistim, Lupron, Ganirellex- BFP lead to Eptopic Pregnancy  :'(
***11 Eggs retrieved, 10 Mature, 8 fertilized, transferred 3 embryos (day 3), 0 made it to freeze
-Lapropscopic surgery- Removal of Fallopian Tube
-IVF #4- Estrogen Priming with Vivelle dot, Menopur, Follistim, Ganirellex- BFP  :)
***15 Eggs retreived, 11 mature, 11 fertilized, 2 embryos transferred (day 3), 2 made it to freeze
Found out I was positive for MTHFR Gene Mutation during TWW of IVF #4

    Thanks for posting! I just found out I'm compound (C677T and A198C) and I would be interested in hearing some success stories too!

    Hi Ladies! Just wanted to share my success story in hopes of helping you! After 4 years of TTC, (about 2 or so years in we found out I have MTHFR, Homozygous C677t.  1 miscarriage at 18, then 3 failed IUI's, started in an IVF Study with RMA of NJ in Basking Ridge office.  I got pregnant with our first FET but lost the baby at 11 weeks (stopped growing at 8 weeks 2 days).  Took one year off and started again, this time I changed up my regimen before. (which reminds me I should start again because we will try for FET #3 in Jan 2017!) The big thing with MTHFR is that our bodies cannot absorb Folic Acid and this is a huge component in what is needed for the baby and a healthy pregnancy but we CAN process Folate or Methylfolate which is the true form of Folic Acid. 

    So I took:
    400mg Coenzyme q10 which boosts egg quality and also helps boost your immune system
    Xymogen Prenatal packet every day starting about 1 month or so prior and then continued during pregnancy
    1 baby aspirin per day
    Extra Folate
    I think I took one more extra vitamin but I will look when I get home and verify.

    Anyways, after 3 years TTC, 3 failed IUI's, 1 failed IVF FET and 2 miscarriages we welcomed our son 4 weeks early on 2/26/16 =)

    It can happen ladies! Don't give up! I remember thinking and feeling like it would NEVER happen.  I had 11 pregnant friends at one point when I miscarried after our FET #1. 

    Our son is now 10 months old (just about) and we are starting FET #3 next month! Just jumping in because we know what a long road it was to get him and we don't want to waste any time!

    DH = 34 Perfect
    TTC 4 Years
    Married 7, together 15 years.
    1 miscarriage at 18 years old
    3 Failed IUI's with injectables
    NEXGEN IVF Study at RMA March 2014
    Resulted in 8 embryos
    FET #1: April 2014, loss at 11 weeks
    FET #2: July 2015. Walker born 2/26/16! 

    Currently waiting for AF, Starting FET #3 January 2017!
    4 more frozen embryos!

    I have one copy of the MTHFR A1298C gene. I took Neevo DHA PNV (has the precursor form of folic acid in it) back then and a baby aspirin until I was about 4 weeks from delivery.

    Wedding Fall 2007 Off OCP's since 9/08-started with BBT charts Saw Ob/gyn May 2009 Blood work normal except single copy of MTHFR Clomid 50mg May 2009 Clomid 50mg + IUI June 2009 Femara 5mg + IUI July 2009 Normal HSG July 2009 Femara 5mg + ovidrel+IUI August 2009 Femara 5mg +ovidrel + IUI September 2009 November 2009-normal lap December 2009-met with RE December/January-Injectible med cycle with IUI-Abnormal sperm morpology found-only 0-1% normal All Head defects. Jan/Feb 2010 1st IVF with ICSI-5 week chemical pregnancy :( Feb 2010-male infertility doc says DH's anatomy and blood work are normal so nothing he can do. :( FET July 2010-BFP! Twin m/c @ 5.5 wks :( Dec/Jan 2011 IVF #2 Only 4 eggs retrieved-Ganirelix dose messed up BFFN Feb/March 2011 IVF #3 ER 3/9 9 eggs, 7 fertilized, ET 3/14, No frosties. BFN IVF #4 ER 8/22 9R,7F ET 8/25-3 embies, 1 frostie! Beta 9/2= 54, 9/6=274, 9/8=625, 9/12=2953, 9/16 greater than 10,000. B/G TWINS born April 2012 @ 36wks & 1 day! July 2014-going back for the frozen embryo! ET 7/28, heartbeat seen at 6wks1day with SCH. Miscarriage confirmed at 6wks4days
