What are some exercise routines that are safe for each trimester?

Anyone have an app, videos, etc. of a safe pregnancy workout plan that incorporates where you are at in each trimester? Also any exercises that should be completely avoided?

Am an active person, but my new job is much more sitting than I'm used to and really don't want to gain a lot of weight during pregnancy. I like to run, kayak, elliptical, beachbody workouts, hiking. I am 5 weeks, so not feeling like there should be much restrictions yet, but am brand new to this whole thing!

  • I have Beachbody on demand, and there are great pregnancy workouts on there. I know there's a lot of good routines on YouTube too though! 
    As others have mentioned on the fit thread, anything you did before getting pregnant should be ok, but always check with your doc. You'll want to be careful of exercises where your lie on your back at you get further along.

  • Sorry I guess I'm bad at this board stuff ... don't really get it! I looked through and didn't see anything about workouts for each trimester? Am I just supposed to put anything fitness related under the pregnancy fitness or fit Friday threads?
