Anyone down for an AHS thread? It's my favorite and I'm trembling with excitement that season 7 is coming up! It has the horror of Trump! And clowns! And Sarah Paulson is so hot! And Evan Peters is such a fabulous villain! DW doesn't like it and my only friends who do like it are in separate time zones. It's a bummer.

Anyway, if we have some fellow fans I would be happy to run the thread!

ME ME ME ME!!!! DW better let me stay up late to watch it. I will be so sad if I have to dodge spoilers all day tomorrow. I already know way too much about what happened in the latest season of GoT that I couldn't watch due to lack of HBO and TV time. DW and I are night and day as far as TV show taste goes. She was watching the new Kylie Jenner spin-off show. I was angrily surfing the net on my phone. She won't even sit in the same room as me while I watch AHS. She says it's too scary. Yet she has no problem with haunted houses during Halloween. REALLY?

@wishiwaspreggo Oh that's too funny - I'm the opposite - I love scary movies and TV, but I will not go near a haunted house (like one of those Halloween ones, I'd totally do a ghost tour at a "legit" haunted place though). I'm totally planning on watching it tonight, hopefully I won't fall asleep before!

Same here, @RVAmom315!!! DW tells me stories about how she used to go through this long haunted house near Chicago and if you paid an extra $5 someone would chase you with a chainsaw. Who pays someone to chase them with a chainsaw??? Nope.

I like horror as long as it's not torture porn. The Saw movies were too much for me. But I love milder versions of horror like AHS. I also love horror novels. I have a book called Hex in my queue that I'm excited to read.

I'm with you on the Saw type movies, gratuitous gore/killing/blood etc. I enjoy more of the ghost-type movies/shows i.e. paranormal activity type/The Conjuring/Annabelle etc. although it has been a long time since I've seen one that I really enjoyed

Speaking of haunted stuff though...not sure how far you guys are, but has anyone ever done Salem, MA in October??

@RVAmom515, I love ghost tours. We leave really close to Gettysburg and DH and I try to do one every year around Halloween. I got an amazing picture last year of a face.

@wishiwaspreggo, I have been to a haunted house with a chainsaw chasing, fortunately, it was part of the package rate, haha.

I would definitely be down for a AHS. DH fell asleep Tuesday night so we had to watch it last night, it was so hard to avoid spoilers.
