@sandbar517, I agree. I think all of their stuff is overpriced, especially the kids stuff. There is NO WAY I am paying over $20 for a shirt or pair of leggings for my two year old!
As a former LLR retailer, I completely agree @attorneyworkproduct . However, @sandbar517, I must disagree about the leggings. Granted, majority of my leggings are from before quality control issues/before the first and second legging drought. Overpriced, yes, but when they had good quality they weren't cheaply made. I haven't purchased a pair of leggings in over a year... and I have over 40 in my closet
I think the LLR fad has completely died out. So glad I peaced out when I did.
I'm not a fan of putting children under the age of five in extracurricular activities. (Which is hyper hypocritical because I mainly teach ages 2-5)
We enrolled DD1 in dance at 2.5 because I was a SAHM and we couldn't afford to put her in preschool. Plus, it was an activity I didn't have to participate in. I strongly believe that if we didn't put her in when we did, she wouldn't be where she is today. I'm so happy to watch my child find what they love and excell in their passion. She's only 6.
I agree, @yesthisiskim0401. Our girls don't go to daycare, so I've been wanting to get them into some kind of very casual class/group of some kind. Just to get them used to being around, and listening to, people other than our families.

That's why it's an unpopular opinion. Most parents use dance classes at that age as a way to introduce them to a classroom setting. A lot of kids who start dancing that early quit in middle school because they're burnt out. Six or seven is the best time to start because they retain information better, and they don't take things they've learned at a rudimentary introductory basis for granted. However most kids in the US take dance for fun, so it makes sense to enroll your kid for shits and giggles with that train of thought. When it comes to technical training, and career dancing there's no point in it.
Taylor Swift makes me angry. I know I'm in the minority but my husband had been listening to hey music for like a week and I get so tense and irritated when it's on. As soon as he changes to something else I can actually feel myself relaxing.
Also I'm a LLR consultant and I'm so excited to spend this entire pregnancy in my leggings! I know it's not for everyone so if you hate it I totally understand!
I don't understand lurking on other boards, I don't have a problem with it, I just hardly have time to keep up with our board! Oh and I hate those little yellow new notifications, they make me anxious and I have to click on each one until they are gone. This is why I turned off my email notifications haha.
@char245 Lurking is for people like me who don't want to do work, and just want to bump all day. LOL ETA also have small toddlers so bumping at home after work hours is a lot more difficult then

I guess that's my UO. I love my LLR and I don't think the fad has died out at all. I'm still going strong and have replaced my full time salary. But it doesn't hurt my feelings if someone doesn't like it. We all have different tastes!
Even though it think it's overpriced, I really like the Cassie skirt and Amelia dress for work. I also love that they are maternity friendly. If I didn't have to dress professional most days, I would probably own more.
I also think most clothing is overpriced. I'm just a sales rack shopper I suppose.
my unpopular opinion, which I think will actually be super popular, is that if you don't like snark, gif, and science, you need to move along to baby center where everything is butterflies and rainbows and unicorn puke

Disaster preparation is a capitalist ploy to make you closer to destitution before a potential issue. If our house floods having a stockpile of canned goods and bottled water isn't going to do us any good because we'll have to leave anyway. The likelihood of every single person I know losing power is next to zero. Also I feel stupidly salty today. (Hunger makes me a bitch)
I have very mixed feelings about LLR. I LOVE the loud patterns and find the leggings mainly comfortable, however I find wearing nothing but polyester very hot and sweaty and I worry about the ethics of the brand. I consider $25 cheap since mainly I buy fair Trade organic cotton. But one of my closest friends is a consultant so I got a little sucked in. Now I'm super annoyed at all the other brands that have jumped on the LLR selling strategy. No I will not come to your party for lip crap or sandles or whatever other crap!!
