1. Loss History (if you feel comfortable) 2 angel babies. First was lost in July2010. The other lost in April2017. 2. How far along are you? EDD? 4w3d 3. Symptoms? Fatigue, breast tenderness, a bit of aversion, gas, and some crampiness. 4. How are you feeling PGAL? A little better today but I'm terrified that this is going to be ectopic for some reason. So I just need to remember I'm pregnant now and those pains are most likely gas. 5. GTKY: What skill would you like to master? Oil painting
1. Loss History (if you feel comfortable) Loss at 11 weeks in June, thought to be Partial Molar Pregnancy
2. How far along are you? EDD? 5w6d, 5/3
3. Symptoms? Finally starting to feel nauseous, woo hoo! Other than that, bloating, fatigue, sore boobs, peeing all the time.
4. How are you feeling PGAL? It really depends on the day. Some days I'll have a great mindset and be thinking positively, some days I feel like it's doomed. I had nightmares last night about my US next week. I hope I can settle down before then. As others have said, I just hate that loss takes away the innocence of pregnancy. I just want to be able to feel excited without fear.
5. GTKY: What skill would you like to master? Playing the piano!
1. Loss History (if you feel comfortable) Loss at 5w2d in 2013
2. How far along are you? EDD? 6w1d, 5/1/2018
3. Symptoms? My boob pain has gone away for the most part, but nausea and throwing have taken its place. It started this weekend and it is definitely getting stronger. I had to leave the dinner table last night to throw up when we were out to eat and I threw up again this morning. I am really bloated too, which isn't making keeping this a secret from anyone any easier.
4. How are you feeling PGAL? I feel a little better since I made it past my loss date and I keep POAS to reassure myself every few days. Even though I don't like feeling nauseous, it does ease my PGAL brain. I wasn't nauseous with my loss, but I was terrible sick with DS, so it makes me more optimistic that this is a sticky baby. I am very anxious for my appointment to get here so I can get confirmation from the doctor.
5. GTKY: What skill would you like to master? Sewing. I wish I was craftier!
@rachelg777 I agree about the loss of innocence. My BFF is surprised we haven't told my mom yet, but I just feel like if I told her and then we had a loss, my mom would be so sad and I don't want to put her through that. But for her, she's had two very uncomplicated pregnancies and has no reason to fear the worst.
1. Loss History (if you feel comfortable) Early miscarriage in March, and suspected vanishing twin with my second in 2014.
2. How far along are you? EDD? Around 4 weeks.
3. Symptoms? Aside from the usual sore breasts and touch of nausea, one of my favorite foods started tasting TERRIBLE yesterday. So that's fun.
4. How are you feeling PGAL? I'm nervous. My hCG was 38 yesterday and I'm anxiously awaiting my next draw on Friday. I feel like my heart is constantly fluttering. I definitely agree with the previous comments about innocence lost. That's exactly how I'd describe it.
5. GTKY: What skill would you like to master? Sewing - I really need to learn!
@mileswithmyles I'm glad your signs point to a sticky babe! I hear you, it's like I want to tell my mom and sister, etc. but I don't want them to get optimistic? I don't know it's weird. @firefliesandfjords Fx for a wonderful beta! I also want to learn to sew.
4. I'm feeling very impatient. When I tested, it was very early because I didn't know when my last period was (I didn't think to check the calendar; I always mark when I start). I just felt pregnant. Tested Tuesday night and got what seemed to be an imaginary line. Finally got an incontrovertible line within the time limit on Saturday. I usually wait until four weeks to test, so I feel like I should already be at five-and-a-half weeks. Wait to find out if it's ectopic or twins, wait to make it to twelve weeks, wait to feel the kicks... this is going to be a loooooooong eight months.
5. @mileswithmyles and @firefliesandfjords I love sewing, but I haven't spent enough time doing it to get really good at it, so I'll agree with you two!
@sparkymcgeee Try not to worry (says worrier). Have you had an ectopic before? Can you get an early US? I now get early USs because I had an ectopic. It's a relief just to see the sac in the right place especially if you have a tendency to overanalyze every little twitch. Last pg I convinced myself that I had another ectopic but it was actually a corpus luteum cyst. Good luck.
@rachelg777 I hate ultrasounds. They have not turned out well for me. I usually try to do some positive visualization of baby being okay and healthy. It's still tough. Hang in there.
@mileswithmyles Jealous of your symptoms. It totally makes things seem real. @firefliesandfjords Try not to read to hard into betas. They really mean sh$t. You'll find stories about positive and negative outcomes with both high and low numbers. @FrancisD. I hear ya about the "milestones" They are so much different fro us pgal-ers.
afm 1. Loss History (if you feel comfortable) ectopic at 6 weeks 9/17 cp 2/17 mmc 4/17 @8-9 weeks D&C
2. How far along are you? EDD? 6 weeks today based on LMP or 6 weeks 1 day based on ovultation
3. Symptoms? Um, none really. I had a bout of MS like a week ago but it was more like motion sickness. I guess maybe I feel kind of queasy sometimes.
4. How are you feeling PGAL? Absolutely terrible. Lack of symptoms, reoccurring brown spotting, and Dr Google have driven me insane. I've convinced myself that this pg is doomed. I'm usually a bit more positive but it's hard this time with already so much going against me. At my 5 week US to rule out ectopic I had a slight beginning of a yolk sac which I feel like should have been more visible, so of course I am worried about that. I'm on progesterone right now so I also feel like that would just delay a mc and help me get farther along and get my hopes up. I have an appointment in 2 Mondays. Dreading that moment of truth but really needing it at the same time.
5. GTKY: What skill would you like to master? I would love to know how to make things out of wood. My house needs so many minor woodworking projects completed like doors on build ins and bench nooks in the dormer windows. I wish I could DIY. My husband say don't even DI-try!
@justsuzie Dr. Google is so bad for me. You can literally find a terrible outcome for any situation. Hugs to you friend, I hope 2 Mondays from now come fast and it isn't the doomed situation you think it is. I hope it's the opposite!
@justsuzie, I haven't. I have reason to believe that other than it's just one more thing that could be wrong and I have low beta numbers and a little RLP that I've convinced myself is my tube screaming. Im totally neurotic.
@sparkymcgeee well I've convinced myself I have a blighted ovum even though we saw a yolk sac. We can both be crazy hypochondriacs together.
I went into my OB's office today to drop off s gift basket for a nurse that works there that has literally been my life line during my losses keeping me sane and treating my like s person instead of a patient. She confided in me that it took her s long time to have her first child too and that she will be there for me even if I move to the RE next. She's such a kind person and we need more like her in medicine. Random rave- not all people in the medical field suck.
1. Loss history: 2nd tri loss in June, due to Trisomy 18
2. EDD of 5/7...so that makes me 5w3d today!
3. Symptoms: nausea has hit full force, and I'm starting to have a visual migrane each day, so that's....super fun? They only last about 30 minutes, and fortunately there's no headache, just visual disturbance, but hoping it doesn't become a regular thing. Hormones can be so weird!
4. PGAL feelings? Pretty okay, especially now that I "feel" more pregnant (although I know it really means nothing either way...I felt very pregnant last time, too, and it didn't end well). Just taking it one day at a time and honestly just trying not to think about it that much!
5. What skill would I like to master? Lots! But I think mostly I'd like to be really skilled at growing a lot of our own food. I'm good at flower gardening, but not food gardening....but flowers can't really feed you all that well!
@rachelg777 They are totally weird. And they can totally freak you out in an "OMG I think I have a sudden brain tumor" sort of way...not the best!
@justsuzie Haha, thanks! I hope you feel even shittier soon! (If that would ease your mind...but really I hope you're just a lucky one who gets to skip the barfys)

3. Symptoms? Initially nothing but mild cramps and brown spotting, which is not reassuring. Earlier this week I started getting breast tenderness on and off and slight nausea (a first for me). I just started prednisone 2 days ago (along with lovenox) and now I can't tell if the stronger nausea is because of the drug or MS. (I'm also on progesterone, but I was on that for my last two miscarriages too). So far each pregnancy has been a little different, so I really can't read much from my symptoms.
4. How are you feeling PGAL? I'm a little more chill this time than last time. I guess I've accepted that I can't control anything. My last one was so recent....I'm sure that's influencing my attitude. I haven't let myself get "excited" yet.
5. GTKY: What skill would you like to master? I would love to become a great cook. I'm currently mediocre at best lol, despite cooking at everyday.
I've lost four babies so far. Every time, I go a little crazy. It makes me focus on TTC. Maybe this will be the last hill on the rollercoaster; we only want two kids.

3. Symptoms? Boobies swelling, I'm only an A cup so they look like they've doubled already, bloating like mad and general grumpiness with lack of sleep. Woo.
4. How are you feeling PGAL? Really emotional. In my mind 13 weeks is safe zone so I don't think I'll feel calm until I'm past that and showing, it still doesn't feel real. Also Fi is being really unsupportive, he's pretending it's not happening and wants me to get a termination, it's a struggle for our relationship right now.
5. GTKY: What skill would you like to master? So many! I'm very creative, I love cross stitch, drawing, baking etc and am quite good if I do say so myself. My dream is to get good enough so that I can open up my own little etsy shop, maybe one day!
