I have the worst gas cramps up under my ribs. I've had them all day and I'm only 4 weeks in :(

  • I had the same problem but for some reason they just went away...
  • I hear ya! I get gas cramps with pretty much everything I eat. However, I do have IBS-C so I know that adds to things. My gas cramps get worse with the evening meal. I assume it's b/c that is the most I have been able to eat all day... I have all day low grade nausea that lifts some in the evening.
My gas cramps get pretty ugly when I need to pass gas or have a BM. All Dairy products and beans are the worst culprits. I was getting so scared at first, I thought it was impending MC but my Dr assured me it wasn't, everything is progressing fine and since I always get relief after passing gas or BM, I had nothing to worry about.
I find forcing myself to walk a little and gently rubbing my stomach in light circles after eating helps. Dr said Gas-X helps too and is safe in pregnancy. I am also trying to drink tons of water. Trapped wind is hard to deal with, but it helps to squat beside the bed and it will pass easier that way; plus you can use the bed for stability when standing.
