I have had off from work since Friday, DD starts school tomorrow so I've been trying to get some things in place. Last night was the worst for pain and again this morning. I couldn't stand without my legs trying to give out and reaching down for something almost caused me to topple over. I just want to cry at the pain and patheticness of it all. I really wanted to make DDs last day of summer special, I just can't. 7-11 more weeks to go, which does not sit well, so much to do.
My body is done with this pregnancy. My last two were a breeze. This time it's a whole different story. I'm already starting to waddle! My biggest issue is after sitting for some time and I stand up, I have excruciating pain on each side of my belly. Right at your hips where they bend. The pain was so bad yesterday that I almost collapsed! Ugh ... they say that girls suck all of your beauty not suck the life out of you. Normally I don't feel this awful until I'm at the tale end, around 36 weeks.
Carpal tunnel - my hands were too swollen to get my palm scan id to work at the hospital. And reflux is pretty constant now. I had it prepregnancy and it was gone with the two months of my first pregnancy and the first two trimesters of this one. I called my GI doc and the only medicine that works for me isn't pregnancy safe.

Exhaustion this week. And with the fall chill starting to creep back in the mornings and evenings, the nipple vasospasms are getting worse. I registered for breast hot/cold packs and am about to breakdown and buy them for myself so I can get some heat directly on my nipples as quickly as possible! The last week the heartburn has really kicked into high gear.
Speaking of, what is the recommended dosage for Tums?
@NYTino24 what medication were you on before? My poor SIL has carpal tunnel now,she gets it after giving birth, I really wonder if hers has to do with holding baby, being on the phone and also because she uses sign language.
@MaximumEffort I was taking Dexilant, but I've been off for two years. Nothing else came even remotely close to helping, and even with the Dexilant, I had to watch what I ate. I still sleep at a 45 degree angle or I wake up coughing. When it was at its worst, I also had to take Domperidone / Motillium.

I think I'm going to call my doctor. I've had some pelvic pain for the last 4+ hours and nothing is making it go away. I don't think it feels like contractions and it's only on the right side... but my back hurts too and it's bringing back bad memories. I'd rather be safe than sorry. I'm going for my rhogam shot tomorrow and have an OB appointment on Thursday, but don't wanna wait.

@NYTino24 I'm so sorry to hear that. Hopefully it's nothing serious and you get relief soon. Sending good thoughts your way. It is so hard to know what to do. It can't hurt to call the doctor though.

@NYTino24 I had some fairly regular cramping on Sunday which worried me a ton (it was less painful than it was regular, which was the part that worried me), but it's gone now. Believe me I know where your brain is going, so I hope you hear something soon to reassure you. You can always go into the office/L&D and check on LO if your mom brain says to.
Thanks, ladies. I was just discharged after 5 hours in the hospital. My contractions were two minutes apart but cervix was closed and fetal fibronectin was negative. WBC in urine so I might have a UTI and will follow up with OB at my glucose test on Thursday. I was given 3 bags of IV fluids, my rhogam shot, and a shot of terbutaline to stop the contractions. They aren't gone, but they are much more manageable now. I'm exhausted and my arms hurt from the 3 needles. Labor is not going to be fun.

@NYTino24 glad everything turned out. Labor contractions shouldn't be the same, dehydration and infection tend to cause these. I know the feeling, both of my other pregnancies had early labor. Rest up. They found that my dehydration wasn't due to lack of water intake but lack of salt.
@NYTino24 so glad you are doing better! Every 2 minutes is a lot to deal with. Great news that LO seems to be doing fine though. Did they think it was because of the UTI?
They really didn't give a reason. I have my OB appointment tomorrow and I'm sure they'll go into it further. I mostly saw L&D nurses

My fibromyalgia has been bad especially with the constant change of weather. My back and ribs are killing me. And I have RLS. I haven't had any nausea since week 13 and threw up today. I also had heartburn right before hand and when I threw up I had some blood come up. So I called the Dr. They said everything seems normal but to keep an eye out cuz there's a virus going around. Haven't thrown up again but I'm weak and stuffy. I hope it's just a fluke. I've been in bed since 7 and already don't wanna go to work tomorrow. I hope tomorrow's a better day for me.
I got a prenatal massage yesterday. After what a Tuesday was like I needed to try something. I can't say it's the most relaxing massage I've had, obviously you can't lay on your stomach and can't be flat on the back and they are limited to what they can do. She did my lower back, feels like I got karate chopped she did lymph drainage for my legs and did some work on the front of my hips and my lower abdomen. I think I'll be going more this pregnancy because this morning I wasn't in excruciating pain and could walk to the bathroom without holding myself up with the wall and my bed.
My carpal tunnel started, wearing my wrist braces now. Really stuffy lately, but I got fancy new sinus irrigator. My IT bands are sore and the round ligament hurts. I have been doing chiro and prenatal yoga, but it isn't enough. I am having trouble bending over more to clean, etc.
@kyethra I've started major CT now and it sucks! At first it was just short term numbness. Now it's taking hours for my hands to feel seminormal after waking up. I have one brace and need to find it / order one for my other hand.

Anyone else having dizzy spells? Both times it happened the other day I was eating. And it lasted at least 1 minute. Kind of terrifying when the room is spinning around you for that long. I read it happens in 2nd/3rd tri due to extra pressure on your blood vessels. I thought it was just strange how it happened while I was eating (towards the end of the meal both times).
@mymulligan Ask your doctor about postprandial hypotension. You can get a digital blood pressure cuff if you're concerned. Usually if BP gets low, the only things they do are tell you to drink water and eat salt.

@mymulligan Mine was right before Labor Day and results won't be in until tomorrow, so I lucked out and got to eat whatever I wanted at the BBQ, birthday party, and Yankees game I went to.

Im dizzy at work today, doesnt help that all my patients have their rooms set to 78 degrees. 6 more scheduled weeks of work I also get dizzy sitting down if I'm leaning back too much from the pressure on my blood vessels.
