It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*

I literally slouched on my mom's couch with my feet up on the ottoman eating small town Chinese food watching the Red Sox while she did all the dinner dishes and clean up when I was over there last week. I felt bad about it but it felt so good to be lazy that I let her do it.
I am such a goody two shoes, I can't even think of a good confession.

Yesterday, we were moving things around in the school and I picked up two student chairs (maybe weighed 10 lbs combined) to move them. Our principal, who is very well intentioned, kept insisting I stop helping because I was giving him anxiety about getting hurt. I told him (and the four other people who commented) that I am perfectly capable of carrying chairs and even moving student desks. I know my limits and as a generally fit person who really isn't that big yet, I am fine.
In contrast, another co-worker who is pregnant and is 15 weeks along pretends like she can't pick up a 5lb box or do anything because she is pregnant. For goodness sake people, be careful, but don't become entirely dependent on others or infantilize yourself!
End rant.
