Sex during pregnancy

Now that our stomachs are getting quite large and awkward, I wanted to throw out the subject of sex as it's been more of a challenge lately for myself. Are many of you comfortable still having regular intercorse? I'm finding it very uncomfortable. I've never had painful sex or anything wrong "down there" but it has been painful and feeling very tight. As a FTM, I'm wondering about any tips or tricks to keeping things fun & comfortable!

TMI but I use my snoogle to lay on sometimes. Interesting enough there are YouTube videos for positions for each trimester (nothing x rated).

We aren't having sex as regularly as before (maybe 1-2 times a week now, was closer to 3-4 before), but until the past two weeks I hadn't noticed anything different. I have become a little tighter down there for sure, but now it's just more adjusting positions to accommodate the bump. I have been more tired and less motivated to have sex, but can generally get into the mood if DH's entices me with a massage (especially for my lower back), lol.

We also haven't been having much lately but that's due to our work schedules and not libido/pain. I've actually always had issues where certain positions were painful even before pregnancy so we've had to get creative. Definitely utilize your pillow. I've noticed spooning is the easiest position and tmi but I definitely ask more for oral now than anything. So it's a combo of those two that seems to happen

The lack of energy makes it hard but we just try different positions. For me if you lay on top of my bump I get nauseous so we have to Use positions that's don't rely on smashing the bump.

I feel like avoiding the bump is easiest (doggy style and spooning). That being said, it's not happening too much for us and that's on DH's end.

Sex hurt for me after I had my 1st and stopped hurting once I got pregnant this time but because I had two spotting episodes after sex because of my placenta previa it makes me nervous during sex. I'm sad because I want to do things I haven't been able to for almost 4 years and I still can't. I'm really hoping after I have this one it won't go back to hurting again.

This^^^^^^ we weren't allowed for the first tri because of RE restrictions. Then partial previa. We had tried one time this entire pregnancy and H was too nervous......

On the topic of sex. I didn't enjoy it as much as usual when we did a few times the last few months. But How, dh was in an area exposed to zika and we have been told to avoid all sexual contact until tested and basically for the rest of my pregnancy. And now I want it. Hahaha

My libido has been on high lately! We're definitely as sexually active as we were before pregnancy and my vibrator is being recharged much much more frequently than before. As far as sexual positions, missionary has gone by the wayside for now. Anything else is fair game.

@curiousfool1 my libido has been high too but DH works so much we only see each other once a month. I called my Dr yesterday with a question and they asked when I had sex last n I actually laughed out loud before I realized I had. Lol! It's so hard with the very few times. We did it more before even trying than we do now...and now's when I want it

@AntWolfe DH went to Mexico in April for a wedding and we just need to use protection until the baby is born.

Right now I'm horny AF .all .the .time.
DH is good with 2 times a week, so i just self pleasure to supplement. But as far as positions go, missionary isn't doable anymore, so pretty much anything else is better and more comfortable.
