My 18th month old daughter wakes up in between 1-4 am screaming at night. She's starts moaning, tossing and turning. This is every night! I give her Tylenol (not every night) thinking something hurts. I don't know what to do? It's getting so exhausting!
My son will be 2 tomorrow and does this occasionally and sometimes he shouts NO NO NO. I assume he is dreaming. As long as he's not shouting, I try to let him figure it out and he usually settles in a few minutes. If he is shouting, I first try calming him through microphone on monitor telling him it's ok and to go back to sleep. If that doesn't work I send DH in to do the same thing as he usually doesn't care that DH doesn't pick him up. If I go in, he wants me to hold him and then I can't put him down. Hopefully it's just a phase and she gets through it for you
