1) How far along are you? How big is baby? 23 weeks! Size of a Barbie Doll

2) How are you feeling? Any cravings? I feel pretty good - no complaints this week

3) Remind us of your baby's sex if you found out. Do you have a name yet? Baby girl is still nameless. We've narrowed down to Norah, Juliette, Delaney and Lucy (in that order) but that could change since we've already ran through 3 different names lol.

4) Any appointments this week/last? I just rescheduled today's appointment for next week because my dumbass boss rescheduled an important meeting for 4pm today. My appointment was supposed to be 4pm today.

5) Rants/Raves/Questions? Nothing really this week! DS finally cut another tooth. He's 17 months and just got his 5th one and it was a molar (and I can feel its opposite coming as well) so we're not exactly doing things in order. His temperament has been so much better so I'm happy and will rave about that!

6) GTKY: Do you know anything about your baby shower if you're having one? If you're not a FTM, what was your shower like? No shower this time around. I had a handful of showers for DS. They were all quite small and intimate which I really liked.

1) How far along are you? How big is baby? 25 weeks! Baby is a cauliflower

2) How are you feeling? Any cravings? Still exhausted but otherwise ok. Craving raspberry anything!

3) Remind us of your baby's sex if you found out. Do you have a name yet? Another baby girl! No clue on names yet. DD1 didn't have a name until she was a day old because DH and I couldn't agree on anything. Assuming the same will happen this time around!

4) Any appointments this week/last? Nothing this week, but I have a follow up scan on Monday morning to check my placenta previa. Fingers crossed for movement!!!

5) Rants/Raves/Questions? DD is getting teeth this week, so sleep is lacking on top of my general inability to sleep more than an hour at a time without getting up to pee. But DH has a weekend day off for a second week in a row this Sunday! He's a restaurant manager so weekend days off are few and far between for him.

6) GTKY: Do you know anything about your baby shower if you're having one? If you're not a FTM, what was your shower like? I had 3 showers (ugh). A big one that my mom threw, one at work, and one MIL insisted on throwing last minute at her house because she likes to be the center of attention. I'm not big on being the center of attention, but I loved seeing my family and friends! I told my mother and MIL that I did not want another shower this time. We are having another girl and all of DD1's clothes will fit DD2 as DD1 is a January baby. We have everything we need except for a double stroller which my godmother has generously offered to buy for us. MIL is still insistent on a "diaper sprinkle." Ugh.

We're rolling along ladies! Can you believe next week is Labor Day weekend?!?!

3) Remind us of your baby's sex if you found out. Do you have a name yet? We have a boy name but would need to decide on a nickname (baby would be named after DH, but DH and his dad already go by the same name so baby would definitely have a nickname); we have a few girls' names picked out, but no definite. We didn't decide on DD's name til she was born, so I don't think we will with this one either.

6) GTKY: Do you know anything about your baby shower if you're having one? If you're not a FTM, what was your shower like? No shower this time; last time my friends threw my shower at a candy/dessert/ice cream shop. It was very sweet (ha!) and not too big.

2) How are you feeling? Any cravings? same old same old. eating ALLTHEFRUIT. Though not sure if its because its harvest here and the BC fruit is damn delicious right now or if it is actually a craving

3) Remind us of your baby's sex if you found out. Do you have a name yet? girl. DH has vetoed all my choices... so no....

4) Any appointments this week/last? Went for therapy/counselling on friday. It was VERY helpful in ridding me of my anxiety over baby being a girl! So glad I went! Now... just to work on my issues with my mom....

5) Rants/Raves/Questions? kicks have been getting SO strong! and it's so weird because I can feel them way out to each side, it's like my ute is wider than it is tall... is that a thing? haha. It's so weird to think that at this point she is technically 'viable', as in if she were born they could resuscitate her. For some reason 24 weeks seems like a significant milestone for me!

6) GTKY: Do you know anything about your baby shower if you're having one? If you're not a FTM, what was your shower like?
I had 2 showers with DS, one before at around 30 weeks with my family in my hometown. It was super overwhelming, there was over 50 ppl there and we got SO much stuff! It was at my aunts cafe and everyone brought food, super laid back. Then we had a second smaller one here with my work friends with only about 12 ladies that was much more to my comfort level and everyone got to meet DS and it was lovely. Just at a friends house!

2) How are you feeling? Any cravings? feeling good, sweet tooth has definitely kicked in. I'm trying not to go too crazy but I will have a sweet after lunch

4) Any appointments this week/last? nope, in between appts. Next one is in 2 weeks and is the glucose test

5) Rants/Raves/Questions? she is kicking me a lot but only some are strong enough for someone else to feel. Whenever she starts up I invite people to feel if they want (mom, DH, sister, etc.) but it's only when they feel that the kicks are either too small or she totally stops. Like this little girl knows how to command an audience already haha.

6) GTKY: Do you know anything about your baby shower if you're having one? If you're not a FTM, what was your shower like? I know nothing other than the date, but my sister and SIL are both wayyyy too excited about the theme, which they are keeping a mystery. I'm so curious! I think I'm also having one at work but I'm not really sure I have a ton of confidence in the planning of it. My boss is likely organizing but she really needs me to help her on most things haha so it should be interesting to see what she does without me.

Rave- 1st baby shower this weekend! I know it's early but I'm flying across the country and wanted to be comfortable haha

I know about my shower this weekend back home. It's a co-ed BBQ so that we can see as many friends and family as possible. Pretty casual. No games just decorating onesies and diapers if you want. I hope that people stick to small items or ship to us since we have to carry it all home on the plane.

No details on my local shower yet.

1) How far along are you? How big is baby? 25 weeks - cauliflower. I still don't understand these food comparisons, they make no sense to me.

2) How are you feeling? Any cravings? I feel pretty good, I've been having BH - yesterday I had a lot so I had to sit down and try to parent from the couch. No real cravings, but loving oranges this week.

3) Remind us of your baby's sex if you found out. Do you have a name yet?Baby Boy - we have a name, I think!

4) Any appointments this week/last? Next appointment is next Thurs.

5) Rants/Raves/Questions? Rave: Today was my big girls first day of First Grade. She did amazing. Can't wait for her to come home to hear all about it!!

6) GTKY: Do you know anything about your baby shower if you're having one? If you're not a FTM, what was your shower like? My mom offered to through a diaper shower, but I don't know if it will happen. I'm kind of against a shower since this is my third, but if she wants to I will oblige as it's a very thoughtful gesture and I can't say no to diapers! My first shower was really nice, I had two - one where we live thrown by my parents and sister in laws, and one in my husband's hometown thrown by his mom. Both were very nice, we felt beyond grateful for our amazing friends and family and we're still using many of the gifts given to us at the shower.

@kvacmak 24 weeks is a big deal! I was doing a happy dance last week because of the milestone. And kicks are way stronger this week - sometimes they catch me off guard.
@cait5413 That shower theme sounds like a little slice of heaven!
@flowerpower5838 I have a Delaney so I'm partial to that name, but I love all the names on your list, so pretty!

kvacmak He only had his two front and lower teeth! No lateral incisors yet. Also I cannot believe your bb is the size of a cantaloupe. That just seems SO BIG.

@SoxGirl982 It's a gorgeous name and our current front runner! Crossing my fingers and toes for your placenta, too!

1) How far along are you? How big is baby?

22 weeks. A coconut - I agree I don't understand the fruit comparisons.
According to my ultrasound, last week? Two weeks ago now, I can't even remember, last week.. it was def last week, the baby was 1 lb 14 oz. I likely already mentioned that.

2) How are you feeling? Any cravings?
left side of my jaw is sore. I didn't think it was a thing, but my work mom's daughter is almost exactly as pregnant as me and had the same compliant.
I had a small Braxton hicks contraction last night.
Im still kinda tired, but energy is improving.
I'm super moody and tend to be really grumpy in the evening.

3) Remind us of your baby's sex if you found out. Do you have a name yet?
boy, pretty sure it'll be Felix Robin William. We both can only agree on Felix. Robin is after DH's dad and William after my grandpa.

4) Any appointments this week/last?

Met with a doula on Sunday. I thought I liked her, but I'm not sure about her contract items. She only comes to you when contractions are 4 minutes apart, last 1 minute and have been happening for 1 hour.. ugh that's too much to keep track of. My friend just had a baby Monday. Water broke Sunday night, she went to the hospital (likely too early), had an epideral sometime before 9 Monday morning, had a c-section Monday at 11 pm. I'm pretty sure I want someone I'm paying big $$$ for to be there when I want them to be there, so I'm going with the other people I emailed. I hope.
My indecisivness since I got pregnant has been ridiculous so I told them Monday I picked someone else, but messaged them last night with a change of heart. My email wasn't working this morning, so I'm not sure what to do next. I tried calling their office this afternoon with no luck.

5) Rants/Raves/Questions?
i called a 1-800 mother inquiry line for the area I live in. The organization provides information about drug, food, etc all things safety specifically for mothers. They are legit and can provide medical advice. My rave, they did a thorough "intake" on the phone. I found out I can take reactine. Advil until 28 weeks. And my whey protein powder is ok to eat (it Should be all whey, but I read him the ingredients and he didn't stop me so yay! It just can't have herbs in it - what does that mean? I'm not sure.. but he said, those are ingredients you can't pronounce). So super happy to have some of my favourite products back.

Funny story - my MIL told me wearing tight clothes (shirts) is bad for me and the baby... ya.. ok not sure how my high waisted mat pants fit in that category..

i have some friends coming tomorrow to start planning. They need my guest list and what I want for my shower.

My mom is being stupid.. she insists the family shower has to be after the baby, but I was going to do an open house so ppl could meet the baby. It'll be January, I live in Canada - need I say more? People may not want to drive. And I don't really want to do an open house one weekend and then a shower the next when the baby is only a few weeks old- talk about overwhelming and I want to have my stuff prepared before the baby gets here.

My coworker is throwing me an Alice in Wonderland themed shower for my work friends. I love the idea! I might copy it for the shower my friends are throwing me and do a tea party theme.
Theres so many choices! My shower with my friends will be mid October, work one is early November... we'll invite family to the October one since my mom isn't having one.
(My mom's sister is superstitious that showers before the baby is due is bad luck..)

2) How are you feeling? Any cravings? Leg hurts if I'm on it too long, calves feel super tight and like they are expanding, it gets painful! Not sleeping well due to peeing all the time! ALL the milk! I can't drink enough

4) Any appointments this week/last? Echo to check the heart due to him being an IVF baby.

5) Rants/Raves/Questions? I can feel him kicking, but he's breach so he's dancing all over my cervix. DW can't feel him.

6) GTKY: Do you know anything about your baby shower if you're having one? If you're not a FTM, what was your shower like? I know the shower is on our 5 year wedding anniversary, brunch at a nice restaurant. They won't tell me anything else!

2) How are you feeling? Any cravings? Feeling ok, new development is sciatic nerve pain. I have a massage scheduled in a couple weeks and a call into my chiropractor to help alleviate some of the pain. Any advice is welcome!

3) Remind us of your baby's sex if you found out. Do you have a name yet? It's a girl, but I'm the only one who knows that (lol) - SO we toss around both gender names, but we aren't really great at the name game so we've never made a decision until baby arrives. Our faux boy name is Chase, which is DH's name. Our girl names are Josephine (nn Josie), Johanna, Amelia or Elizabeth ... my first choice is Josephine, but I can't commit until I see baby.

4) Any appointments this week/last? Nothing until September! Which I cannot believe is MEXT week.

5) Rants/Raves/Questions? Nerve pain aside, no complaints! The humidity broke this evening so I'm looking forward to a nice night for sleeping.

6) GTKY: Do you know anything about your baby shower if you're having one? If you're not a FTM, what was your shower like? No shower this time. My friends have mentioned throwing a "sprinkle" but only because this baby was a surprise and I had sold/donated most of my baby gear. I'm not totally on board but we'll see. Baby shower for DD was sort of the "first" baby shower among friends/family - lesson learned, don't paint onesies with puff paint or you will have to drape them single layer through your mom's car to get them home! For DS I had a small surprise shower thrown by my co-workers. It was very sweet and unexpected.
