I'm a SAHM but due to needing a new vehicle and some other stuff I will be trying to bring in a bit of side income by becoming a substitute teacher at the local High School.
Hospital Administrator in the OR primarily with nursing staff now. Can be stressful at times, but I love how everyday is different. I love being in a hospital environment! My husband can't even stand to be in the lobby.
Adding to the teacher list. I teach 1st grade! Teachers start back Monday, students start the 30th. I am really worried about my morning sickness and not sure how to handle that at the start of the year with such little ones...
I'm a NICU nurse and also have my Masters in Nursing Education and hope to use it to teach nursing school. My husband thinks because I take care of babies for a living he won't have to do anything for ours! Ηaha. I told him I will teach him my ways!

Sounds like my husband! I work in the lab and the first time he came up to my work I wanted to show him what I do and he got weirded out by blood samples in tubes... Haha!

Yeah I wasn't ever able to talk about my job before, well my favorite cases anyway, he just couldn't stomach
@lolablue3@aabbaby I'm a first grade teacher too! This is my first year moving down, I've been in third grade for 3 years. Soooo nervous about handling the fatigue and potential morning sickness with little ones!
I'm an Executive Administrative Assistant for the CEO of Health IT company. It is my dream job! Always a ton to do and I really enjoy helping everyone do their job better by taking care of the behind the scenes tasks.

I am a licensed Architect. After working in the private industry for about 10 years, I took on a public role at the beginning of the year. I am now our County Architect, which has been new and exciting.
The County has a 9-month probation period which coincides almost directly with the start of my second trimester. I'm thinking of taking my boss a cake that says, "I'M OFF PROBATION!!!! ps I'm pregnant"
@bossmom11 my favorite thing is probably creme brûlée. It's so simple to make but it's such a crowd pleaser and I can dress it up to make it look super fancy and elegant. Other than that I love making complex French pastries. I don't mind spending a couple of days making one very fancy dessert. My mom thinks it's crazy to spend that much time on one thing to eat but I love the intricacies of it.
@joyful08 that's awesome! That is something I have never had but I bet you make it so good.

@shireeallason I'm in a somewhat similar situation. I started my job in Dec and my probation period was 6 months ending in June. I waited until April to start TTC because I don't qualify for FMLA until I have been in my job for a year. In the end it took us 4 months to conceive so i'll more then qualify for my leave but I'm planning to tell my boss in Oct after first tri. I guess being in a job for over a year before taking leave isn't that bad though. I know some women who were already pregnant when they started!
@sweetcaroline24 I'm an ER attending. Do you know about the Physician Mom's Group on facebook. I'm pretty sure it's open to med students. What are you matching in? https://mypmg.com/
Also if you plan on breastfeeding, there's Dr. MILK for female physicians interested in breastfeeding medicine. https://www.drmilk.org/
Edit: Just saw you're a rising 4th year.

I lead internal communications for a tech start-up in San Francisco. Been doing comms for over 14 years, and this is the most incredible job I've ever had. Before this I worked for a variety of Fortune 500s, but there's something magical about building something new.
@jbn999 as gross as it probably is, that job sounds cool af @orangecup Life. Goals.
I love that we have so many teachers in here! I, too, am a teacher ;-) I teach high school science. I have my BS in Geology and MAEd in Ed Tech. Just started at a new school earlier this week. I'm teaching Physical Science to 9th graders, Biology to 10th graders, Environmental Science in 11th graders, and Anatomy to 12th. With a test prep. Somebody reassure me that I won't die.

I work full time in Clinical Research at the Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center at Thomas Jefferson University. I love my job and would love to keep working with baby number 2, but we will see how it goes.
@createmagic14 it was SO FUN. Jobs are limited, especially in my area, but I have no regrets. I traveled all over the country for field trips and research and I wouldn't take those experiences back for anything!!

I'm a medical student. It's exciting to be experiencing what I've been learning about first hand! The day I found out I was pregnant, I immediately re-read all of my embryology and pregnancy slides Thankfully the timing has worked out well so my due date is AFTER my insane licensing exam.
I'm a legal assistant (my official title)...sort of. I don't work in a law firm and I don't work for an attorney, but I do legal work (everything from real estate to business law) for the Chairman of the Board department at my company. I was brought on to keep costs down and do as much in-house that doesn't require an actual attorney. Once the bulk of the workload is done, it is passed on to outside counsel.
I'm a graphic designer at my church. I created our App and manage our website too. I love it and the environment is great. I'm also a group fitness instructor in my spare time, and it's the funnest thing ever. I love it.
I am a grant consultant in the Sponsored Research office at college in the midwest. I help faculty submit proposals for funding. No day is the same and it's interesting work!
Right now I am a regional truck driver, but not sure how that is going to work now at 6 weeks. Will just have to follow doctor's orders and hope my local position picks back up soon so I can stop the 500 mile sprint every day.
I'm an Engineer Officer in the US military. I wish I could say I use my mechanical engineering degree, but it's mostly management and administration. We do get to do some pretty cool stuff though
I would like to eventually go back to school to study something in the medical field. I love the hospital environment, and would love to work directly with people.
