QOTW: Any fun eclipse stories since I am posting this so late?
Hi All, 36+6 today, full term tomorrow. I was told by my MFM that I will have him by 39 weeks...but still nothing definite. He's still head down and my 2x weekly BPP's say he's doing well. I'm so tired lately. I can't sleep well at night so thank goodness I can sleep during the day. I am still not feeling any contractions yet though. Can't wait for that fun!
I slept through the eclipse today. I slept horribly last night and had an 8am MFM appt this morning. So I got home and had to go right back to bed. So, no eclipse and a delayed Bump post. I'm hoping to at least make some dinner tonight!

BFP IUI Cycle 2 Dec 2016
Baby Boy Due Sept 12 2017 Elias (Eli) born 9/2/17 at 7:07pm weight 8lbs 10oz and 20.5 inches long!!
37 weeks + 3 over here with baby girl. It feels GREAT to be "early" full term. Well, it feels great mentally and emotionally, not physically. I seriously think my entire digestive system shut down. Nothing's moving and my heartburn is outrageous. I'm still working but not leaving the house much if I can help it.
I have an induction scheduled the night of September 3rd- September 4. I am supposed to go in to sleep in the hospital, get cervidil, then 12 hours later start pitocin. I'm hoping 1) I'll be AT LEAST 2 cm dilated by then or 2) she will come naturally on her own before September 3rd! The reason for induction is primarily her head size and the ratio to my body/hips. I can blame my husband who was ALSO born with a head in 99th percentile.
QOTW: I don't have any fun eclipse stories (I couldn't see much, didnt have glasses, and here in Austin we only got like 60% eclipse), but it IS my birthday tomorrow! I'll be 32. Have hoped all along for my little rabbit to not come on my bday, but honestly, she's getting served with an eviction notice so she's welcome to leave any day now

@omarismyhomeboy oh man my husband and I both have big heads, my daughter followed suit. Dang the big headed genes but I'm glad you have a plan, fingers crossed baby comes a bit sooner!
30 weeks here, we're in South Carolina for the week. Hot hot hot so I'm in water all day, I felt sick after the beach the other day so I'm being careful now.
QOTW it was cloudy so we just saw it get very dark, kind of neat! My best friend was in Oregon though and her boyfriend proposed after the eclipse! Super excited for them
@latershrader sounds like a long day, hope the rest was nice
@omarismyhomeboy Happy Birthday girlie, hope you have a great day!!
30+5 over with a bouncing baby girl. Not a lot happening, we are getting closer to finishing the nursery( i know we are so far behind haha) and I also have a Dr appointment on Thursday just a regular biweekly check. I have started to notice some ankle swelling at night but other than that I still feel great!
QOTW: Finally remembered this week haha. I tried to do the whole look through your cell phone thing but it didn't really work so I just gave up after a few tries. Other than that nothing special

Afm, 30 weeks today - super tired! But now we are in single digits - only 9 more weeks to go before these babies come out. We started cleaning over the weekend and I feel like we got a lot done. DH and my brother cleaned out the garage (almost done with it). My sister and I sorted the clothes we had from dd. We are hoping to reuse as much as we can but she had a lot of clothes we can't reuse, sadly. I was looking at some dresses and I just couldn't part with them - they just look sooo cute!
QOTW: I was hoping to sneak out to see the eclipse but got sucked into a couple of meetings around that time. Oh well, next time.
Hi all! 29 weeks today with our little boy and my first post in 3rd tri! Can't believe how fast time has moved. He's kicking and rolling up a storm now, which is cool but weird. DH got to feel him do a good kick and roll for the first time last night (he'd felt a few good kicks, but never anything as intense as last night) and I think it kind of freaked him out, lol.
Also, does anyone have any good tips for not throwing up during the 3 hour glucose test? The one-hour had me in so much stomach pain and upset I spent the first half hour of the waiting period in the bathroom trying not to get sick (the lady at the lab said if I threw up, it would invalidate the test and I'd have to come back). I'm afraid drinking even more of that nastiness on a dead empty stomach is going to have me doubled over the entire time. I know it's tough cause I can't eat or drink anything else, but think those seasick bands might help?
QOTW: Nope, I basically ignored it. It was pretty cloudy where I work anyway, so apparently most people didn't get a great view. Although my co-workers who went outside said there were people with all kinds of viewing contraptions all over the place, it was a pretty funny sight outside lol.
Hey all. Some of you follow me on instagram so already know this but Beau surprised us at 38 weeks by having me go into labor. Still had a csection due to transverse lie. I'll do a full update with birth story (or you can read it on my insta if you're curious/impatient) but been struggling with some pain and such since discharge yesterday. We went to ob today we're now on the way to imaging. Concerns over possibly some kind of hematoma... can't remember what she said. Less concerned about infection but still putting me on antibiotics. Beau is doing great. Eating well. We're loving on him tremendously. Just hard when your recovery isn't going so hot... k talk soon

Hi everyone! I'm so happy to say that baby Weston was born on Monday at 5:39 pm It was a rough delivery and I was diagnosed with severe preeclampsia out of no where once I went into labor, but it was all worth it in the end. We are absolutely loving getting to know our little man and we are all home safe and sound now!
@oxinfree Congrats on Baby Beau! I'm glad he is eating and doing well. I hope you have a speedy recovery!
@oxinfree So excited to see you share this here. I saw it in Instagram but didn't want to spill the beans. He is precious and I know you will be feeling more like yourself soon, At least I hope so!!
@Stars2016 Congratulations on the arrival of little Weston!! I hope you are both thriving despite the pre-eclampsia diagnosis!!!

Guess its time I move on over to the 3rd tri thread! Crazy! @latershrader if you wouldn't mind adding me to the list!
Today I am 28w1d with my baby girl, due 11/16. Just learned I passed my glucose tolerance test yesterday, so pretty pumped about that. Nursery is nearly done, and baby shower is in about a week.
Also happy to say I've been feeling kicks since about early July, and they're getting stronger everyday. It's quite entertaining to sit and watch my belly bounce around!
Symptoms I've been dealing with lately include swelling in hands and feet (sometimes they go numb and/or tingle), sore feet, occasional acid reflux at night, and at the moment I'm noticing what I suppose are probably uterine stretching pains in the front near my navel. Not too bad.

Welcome @LeFemmeViolette!! Glad to see you have made it over here! I will add you on for next week.
AFM, I had my final OB appointment today. That's right! This little guy will be making an appearance sometime around a week from now. I'll start the induction process next Thursday. I'm so ready and so excited!! We are all ready to meet this little guy.
Question: When any of you had a cervix check, did you have some spotting afterward? I was going to Dr. Google it but wanted to check here too. It could be mucus plug related too, i'm dilated a fingertip apparently.

Good luck! @Stars2016 Congratulations on baby Weston! @LeFemmeViolette Welcome! It's great to see you over here!
AFM, ridiculously late posting this week but I'm 35+3 with the little lady today. I've been feeling a lot more pressure on my cervix and bladder this week, to the point where I'll end up doubled over suddenly feeling like she'll either fall out or I'll pee myself. Lots of fun! I had my work shower last Friday and then friends/family shower on Saturday, so DH and I are feeling very loved and inundated with adorable baby stuff at the moment. This week my supervisor also finalized securing coverage during my maternity leave, so that was a big stress relief. I'll spend the next week or so getting him up to speed and then hopefully can start off-loading some things as I get closer to the due date.
QOTW: We had around 92% coverage where I live for the eclipse, so it was pretty cool to see. Celebrated with a silly bump shot:

@sasha29-2 Welcome to 3rd tri! Drink lots of water while you're waiting during the 3 hour. Water was my savior. Good luck!
@Stars2016 Congratulations on baby Weston!
@LeFemmeViolette Welcome!
@EmilyE13 - love the bump pic! Too cute!
