What's on the menu this week? Chicken noodle soup, ginger ale, pretzels, rice. Any aversions? Raw Chicken, but I can deal with it in soup and in fast food form Any cravings? I had a dream about ghosts in the graveyard, which if I remember correctly is some sort of cool whip cookies and cream type desert. I also bought gummy bears and twizzlers at the store today. I'll see if I'm up to eating those. GTKY: If you had to enter a cooking or baking competition, what would you cook? I think I'd go on Holiday Baking Championship. I'd have to perfect my oatmeal, white chocolate, cranberry cookies.
What's on the menu this week? Sitting here for inspiration because I have no idea. Tonight I'm making slow cooker Buffalo ranch shredded chicken. But it's turning my belly thinking about it so no clue what I'll actually eat. Tomorrow we're going out for pizza, because it's kids eat cheap night. The rest of week is up in the air. Maybe enchiladas Wednesday.
Any aversions? Fish and yogurt sound repulsive. In general nothing sounds good.
Any cravings? That is except cheeseburgers. I want cheeseburgers every night lol. At least if it hangs on it's something I can easily modify to carb free.
GTKY: If you had to enter a cooking or baking competition, what would you cook? I'm a descent cook/baker but am not good at making up my own ideas for food. I can bake some pretty mean cookie bars though.
I have no menu plan because even though I haven't had any aversions or real cravings (other than pasta salad) I am extremely indecisive. What I want now, may not be what I want it 15 minutes. However, I do need to keep healthier options on hand. I've been consuming way too much sugar and it is not helping my fatigue at all. I think I've been giving myself excuses because I'm pg and don't feel good, but I need to get it under control now. Time to suck it up haha.
@kindbytealikat enchiladas sound like a good idea. What kind would you make?
1 lb ground beef cooked with a diced onion and seasoning for taco type meat. Then add 1 can Campbell cheese soup, 1 can refried beans and one cup cooked rice. Cook until the mixture is well blended. I fill 6 flour tortillas a put into baking dish and pour a can or two of enchilada sauce medium over the tortillas and cover with taco cheese. The other 1/4 of meat mixture is put into corn tortillas and then sauces and cheese. You can fill 10-12 flour with all meat I just need a non gluten option for DH
@allowachick I've been having food dreams too! And a lot of other random dreams, but last night I dreamt about eating an avocado with a spoon... so random
I hope it's ok I start this: What's on the menu this week? Lemon garlic Tilapia, roasted butternut squash and other veggies, couscous, veggie burgers over more veggies and roasted potatoes.
Any aversions? Basically anything that's a carb.
Any cravings? It was nachos. Now it's tortellini. Preferably in a soup. Have I ever had tortellini soup before? Not that I can remember.
GTKY: If you had to enter a cooking or baking competition, what would you cook? Just a classic vanilla cupcake with buttercream frosting (and rainbow sprinkles, obviously).
Wednesday: salmon with mango & roasted sweet potatoes and Asparagus
Thursday: having company over, probably roasted veggie (I'll probably do all my roasting wed. With the potatoes and asparagus) and chicken quesadillas, cheesy corn dip
Friday: going to a concert, I'll be fake drinking since we will be with dh's cousin and probably will treat myself to an 8 dollar slice of pizza lol... I haven't figured out how to finagle fake drinking at this concert yet
Saturday: not sure- probably grilled chicken
Sunday: chinese food at home night! I ordered chinese food last night, and felt really bad because I realized it may have msg in it... so I'm committing to making my own, since I love the stuff! I'm not sure what I'll make yet, maybe beef and broccoli stir fry or something
Cravings: Fruit that is on the tart side- strawberries, nectarines, citrusy stuff... cumquats sound amazing (if that's how you spell it), potato chips, salty stuff
Aversions: not much... Garlic hit me pretty hard the other day, and bananas seemed overly sweet
@viggie17 regarding fake drinking, I think it's actually pretty easy. Tonic/sprite/ginger ale etc in a cup with ice, a straw and a lime wedge on it usually does the trick. And if anyone notices you're actually not drinking booze, just say you're not feeling well (because you're probably not anyway).

What's on the menu this week? Cavatini and baked garlic/Parmesan Zucchini Venison shoulder Roast potatoes & green beans And just leftovers the rest of the week.
Any aversions? Nope.
Any cravings? I don't necessarily crave things, but if given the option salty things are more appealing. Which is weird because I thought I only had sweet teeth in my mouth.
GTKY: If you had to enter a cooking or baking competition, what would you cook?
My Dark chocolate coconut cookies.

@allowachick I guess I thought it wasn't the best for you... probably not a huge deal, and nothing on the list like unpasteurized cheese, I just am trying to get on a health kick... I could be a little over zealous at the moment though lol
@lindsye I'll make sure to have a fake mixer at the house for the weekend, but I'm not sure what to do while in the venu... maybe there will be a place that sells mixed drinks and I can just get a seltzer in a cup or something (it's an outdoor concert with food trucks and alcohol booths lol)... I vaguely remember a booth like that at the place. Probably the guy we're going with won't even notice lol... he's kind of off the wall when he drinks
