@jrm_14 I'm with @adirat and @lurvleybunchococonuts. I was slightly surprised and a little annoyed (even though I shouldn't be) to see Halloween stuff in stores!

@SkilledSailor. The other side of the aisle was fall. Autumn is my favorite season! However, I'm totally okay with having the winter decorations out, too.
@jrm_14 I love Christmas so much. I can't wait to start ornament shopping this year. Summer is my favorite too but fall is so pretty in New England that I'm looking forward to it.
My UO - I find nothing sexy or romantic about showering with H. He tried to get in my shower this morning and I went crazy and slammed the shower door in his face. It's a small space and I was running late. I'm not in there to turn him on, I have things to do. GTFO.

I love holidays, but I hate seeing holiday stuff in the stores way before their time. Especially in fall- I still need back to school stuff in mid-September. I don't need Halloween yet!
@laurad75 DH and I occasionally shower together. I usually let him know he has about five minutes until I start shaving things he doesn't want to see getting shaved, so he better wash up quickly. Highly erotic.
Me: 28 DH: 29 Married: 6/2016 TTC #1: 12/2016 Benched due to deployment- Off the bench 8/8/17!
@jrm_14 Christmas stuff already?! TBH I am just excited for it to almost be fall....I'm really not a fan of summer.
@laurad75 I SO agree! sometimes my husband thinks that showering together saves time...but really all it does is force me to wait in the cold while he is under the water shampooing etc. No thanks...I'll wait.
my UO.... I get annoyed when my friends make huge deals out of random birthdays....and celebrating "birth months" or "birth weeks" are even worse....we all have a birthday...really not that special.
@kperrucci I have a friend who does that, lol. Drives me crazy! And her birthday is right before mine, so she is always trying to plan some HUGE thing to celebrate both our birthdays and I really just like to keep it low key, then she pouts.
My UO - I HATE fall. No this is not a popular un popular I hate pumpkin spice opinion - Its fall. I hate it. And I'm on the VT / NY border, the land of fall fall fall. I always twist my ankles on the damn apples in my driveway, the leaves make the road slick, it gets dark early, it turns into "stick" season, I don't like orange, it gets cold. I can't ski yet. It's too cold to swim.I just hate everything about fall. Our leaves are already turning and it's making me mad. Look, I have two more weeks of summer, go home fall you're drunk.
@jrm_14 +1 for Christmas. Give me ALL THE CHRISTMAS STUFF ALL THE TIME! I'm slightly obsessed.
@laurad75 Haha that's so funny you say that because DH and I were watching a show the other night, and two of the characters were showering together, and I made a comment like, They always make it look sexy on TV and in movies, but in reality it's "there's soap in my eye! I'm cold, let me back in the spray, I'm going to slip" etc etc
Our master shower has dual shower heads, so it's really made for two. But I am one of the ones who likes showering with my SO even in "regular" showers. MH nixed that real quick.
My UO is boring: I genuinely like McDonald's food.
@ollieandbaby I hear your opinion, and you are entitled to it but... I fall! It's my favorite season, although I do agree that wet leaves make me wanna gag
@kperrucci ugh... a close friend of mine got married last year, one of the girls asked to be a bridesmaid declined and didn't even attend because "it was her 30th birthday weekend and like she has a big party planned duh, why didn't you move your wedding date to accommodate me?!" I. Kid. You. Not. I felt so bad for my friend, but imo she was better off w/o that nonsense.
@laurad75 YES! I dream of having an amazing multi jet HUGE spa-like shower and separate soaking tub one day, but until that happens DH can shower by his own damn self cause I always end up standing in the cold until he's done.
My UO I enjoy listening to NPR over any other radio station in the car.

@ollieandbaby ugh. i get that, too. Two of my friends have b days a few days before mine and they both make a huge deal. Luckily I made it very clear to them that I do not make big deals out of my B day...so they dont force me to do something joint...they are actually more than happy to let their b days overshadow mine...and I'm fine with that!
@lurvleybunchococonuts WOW! my friends complained that we had a bachelorette party to attend on "our" bday weekend (the three of us are a few days apart). I couldn't believe it....we were bridesmaids and it was just a birthday!
@doxiemoxie212 summer is only good when you're in school and have two months off to look forward to. Once I started working full time (and don't get summers off), summer quickly became the worst season, because it's just hot. Give me spring or fall (or even winter) any day!
I love showering with H and fighting over the water and washing his back and his hair. Maybe I'm just weird?
My UO is that I feel if the boss/manager/lead can have their cell phones out and text all day, then the rest of us should be able to do the same. Or at least read a book during down time. Hypocrisy sucks.
@jrm_14, @RVAmom515 - I LOVE Christmas stuff. I am currently in the process of decluttering and organizing my house and garage. All the Christmas stuff stays. There is no negotiating. The best part? MH enables me because he also loves Christmas. #soulmates

@pebbledam ugh, that would make me a little annoyed, when I'm heading to work in the mornings it's usually either BBC news or some "on assignment" type talks. Recently they've been talking about the 70th anniversary of Partition in India. It's actually pretty interesting. I NPR & BBC News because I feel like so much of the US is so self absorbed, and I like hearing/knowing what's going on in other areas. Plus I feel like outside new sources do a better job at reporting on certain topics.

+1 to summer being the best. Spring is a close second. I like fall to a point... but the issue I have with it is winter follows it. Not even kidding. I can.not.stand.winter.
Annnd going to join in and say hell no to showering together. My hubs tried it once and he was quickly turned away. He knows better now.

@catlady1215 yessss girl yes, people can explain the merits of fall to me until they're blue in the face but the truth is that fall is just a coundtown to winter depression so, like, no thanks?
Lol, and I live in a place MADE for fall, and I still hate it. Like, people come from all over the world to see around here in the fall, and I live in a Federalist house with apple trees in the yard, in a charming little downtown where everyone knows each other, and there is a post office, a general store and a coffee shop. It looks like a postcard. We have 650 people in my town. Except during fall, when we are flooded with tourist wafting pumpkin spice, and I have to keep my cat inside because people actually drive up the street who *don't know my cat lays in the road* -insert ridiculous offended localism huff here- Okay there is something to be said for those early fall days when fall feels like summer, but then it reminds you its a trick. And I like winter better! There is pretty snow, and I can cross country ski on the rail trail, and down hill ski at the mountain, and snow shoe, and sit by the fire, and there are all kinds of holiday events. I also don't like mud season, but at least then there is the hope summer is coming!
@ollieandbaby. I am drooling at my screen reading your description of fall! ETA: @doxiemoxie212 and @catlady1215 are correct winter-blah that follows sucks. However, I will take an amazing fall to savor in my head while wishing the winter blues away.
@paleoprincess I get that....definitely good bonding to shower together...but, we don't make a habit of it because we rarely have time or shower at the same time of day.
@doxiemoxie212 exactly! Fall is pretty..love pumpkin patches, scary movies.. and I love the cool boots/sweater weather after a hot summer just as much as the next person.. ... but the thought of depressing, brown ugly trees, temps below 0, SNOW, ice, scrapping cars, darkness as soon as I clock out of work... then my biggest thing is Im super weird and get anxiety over stomach flu season. Like for real anxiety from oct to april. Ahh! Just give me spring and summer.
