    yeah I think we will all be here for all the life's milestones....I cant wait until the teenaged years....Maybe this time around I will do a much better job since I will have lots of advice and info.

    FWIW-- I never "hated" my mom (or dad) in my teen years... they had rules, I didn't like them but-I didn't get MAD about it. They were fun and we always had a good time at home too. (I could go into more detail, but... you might not care LOL!)

    ami, you are obviously better than me.

    I loved my mom as a kid but when I became a teen, her voice would make my blood boil. Luckily, I got through it pretty fast and we were best friends again by the time I was 17.

    (my teen hell years were 12-16)

    I hated my parents when I was a teen!  We're super close now and I can appreciate that they were hard on us.  It took awhile to get there though!
