  • @nitnat007 yes---we have the same GTKY answer, alothough I believe you put it more eloquently than I did. Your chart is gorgeous l.
  • Month/Cycle: 3/3

    CD/DPO: 29/14

    Timing: Lots of BD!!

    Typical LP Length: 14

    Testing: Tomorrow...

R/R: Rant: So yesterday, started spotting, or at least I think, I mean it is so hard to tell. Because from what I read it's like a 'regular' flow. AF is supposed to be here tomorrow. So IDK right now. I had a little bit of cramping yesterday, but it wasn't like normal AF cramping.

    CS/Q:

GTKY: [Stolen from WTO] What family member are you closest to emotionally? All my siblings are the exact same emotionally, it's crazy!

    Me: 34 DH: 33
    DD: 07/19/18
    EDD: 06/22/22
  • @izza2 - Here, here! Bagels 4 life!!
@thisnthat314 - That stinks! I hope things get better, it's always tough when someone leaves.
@lurvleybunchococonuts - I feel you, sometimes I don't believe FF either. lol. Oh candy crush! I used to play that all the time. Maybe I need to get back into it! haha.
@SkilledSailor - Iceland! I've heard it is stunning there! So jealous!
    Me: 34 DH: 33
    DD: 07/19/18
    EDD: 06/22/22
  • @mileswithmyles your roller coaster does look like a fun ride tho?  Lol

  • @izza2 Love your gif game today!  glad you are feeling better.
@thisnthat314 that is such a relief!  Hopefully you can get a replacement that is awesome to take some of the workload off of you.
@blackhottamales you definitely want a BBT still.  It is more precise.
@nitnat007 good luck with your appointment.  I did a full physical for the first time in a long time back in the spring and it felt good to have reassurance that I was generally healthy.
@lurvleybunchococonuts I hate getting stuck on a level on Candy Crush.  It frustrates me more than I feel is appropriate for being almost 32.
@SkilledSailor sorry about the BFN.  I'm glad you have a trip to look forward too if AF does decided to arrive (but hopefully that jerk will stay away)
@Dilynne hope everything is well with you
    @ajsanders-2 fingers crossed for you
    @peaceloveandwine hi DPO buddy!
@BusinessWife yay for meds!  I'm so excited for you!
@paleoprincess you are making me want to test! Good luck with the first day of school tomorrow.
@doxiemoxie212 DH used to do that when he worked odd hours and I would wake up and never be able to fall back asleep.  It made me crazy. Maybe I should sell my temp chart to a design company for their next ride, LOL.  Give them some inspiration.  ;)

  • @mileswithmyles don't let me make you want to do anything, I'm a willpowerless dope.
  • Month/Cycle:2/2

    CD/DPO:35/10

    Timing:ff says great

    Typical LP Length: 10-11

Testing: made that mistake yesterday, now I'll just freak out and wait for af perhaps Friday before we drive back to our state

R/R: the sun is shining and the birds are singing in going to miss summer.

CS/Q: I stopped bbt 2 years ago as noise in the am makes me grumpy, but when I get home the tempdrop I ordered 3 years ago as a indie gogo should be there to start temping

GTKY: [Stolen from WTO] What family member are you closest to emotionally?

I've never really been close emotionally with my family. We have a huge family lots of cousins and I like most of them, but I've always just stick to myself emotionally. It's probably not the healthiest thing, but it's what I do.

If I had to pick a favorite, my 19 year old cousin, because since she was 12 she's always looked  up to me and is a lot like me as a teenager.

    ______________________

@izza2 I can't wait to be back in the land of internet so I can try out some gifs. I love your gifs.

@thisnthat314 sometimes getting rid of someone makes less work even though you'll have to do their work. At least you won't have to fix everything they've ruined. Our school just got rid of a dead weight sped teacher, the other one was told they'd likely not replace him so she's going to double her case  load, though she is nervous about having that many more kids, she knows she won't have to take on the kids he's failed half way through the year and unteach them his ways of doing things which was basically you're in high school you should have figured this out already.

@lurvleybunchococonuts I get so sucked into candy crush I have to delete it from my phone for months at a time. Last time I got sucked in a student would give me her phone during homeroom and ask me to beat the levels she was stuck on. Thankfully she graduated so hopefully I won't get addicted to that again, I don't get much accomplished waiting for my lives to rebuild over and over again.

@paleoprincess I have to go back to my classroom next week. And I'm not looking forward to it. I am looking forward to working with our 2 new science teachers though!

  • @jhysmath enjoy the remainder of your summer break.  I have been back since 7/31.  If I were the other SpEd teacher at your school, I would flip!  Double caseload is the stuff my back to school nightmares are made of!  But I agree, sometimes it is easier to just do the work the right way the first time.
  • @mileswithmyles when do you get out that you go back so soon?! Being so far north (20 minutes from the Quebec border) our summers are so short. I need as much sun as I can get, we usually have snow flurries on memorial day.

We're also a tiny school ~120 students so she'll have >60 kids on her case load, which I know for some city SpEd teachers is a tiny amount to have.
  • @jhysmath We were out on June 2 this last school year.  I go back a week earlier than most to work with our new hire orientation since I am on special assignment right now.  Our students started last Thursday.

60 is tiny?!??!  I would have a heart attack.  We don't have an offical cap, but our resource teachers are at less than 30 and SDC teachers usually are between 12 and 25 depending on the program.
  • @mileswithmyles I honestly don't know how many she'll have, but we're full inclusion and our students only go into her room for tests or assisted study halls. Last year the max number of kids I'd see in her room was 10.

The only reason I'm going in next week is to help our new teachers. We have one with out an education background and seeing as we do not have any new hire program I take it upon myself to help the new math/science teachers. We're a 5 person team, and aside from my first year we've had a new one each year.

R/R: Not much, just trying to get through the week. MH has been traveling a lot for work and it's stressing/bumming me out. Just trying to let it go since it's beyond my control.

    CS/Q: Nada

GTKY: [Stolen from WTO] What family member are you closest to emotionally? My Mom. I've always been close to her but I think in the last few years once she retired we've become closer. We don't live close but are in the same time zone now which is awesome!

    Edited to correct silly mistake

  • @nitnat007 DHs Great Aunt passed...  :'(
  • @BusinessWife Oh man, I am so sorry for your loss! Condolences. :'(

Got out of work even earlier thanks to someone coming in with bed bugs yesterday. So that was fun.

@thisnthat314 - I'm glad your horrible co-worker was let go! Hopefully they're able to find a replacement fairly quickly who can help out.

@blackhottamales - I personally prefer knowing my temp to the 100ths, so I'd go with a BBT if it were me. But there are some ladies who can get a clear temp shift while using a regular thermometer. BBTs are accurate to 0.01 degree, while some regular thermometers are only accurate to 0.2 degrees. Your temp shift can be as little as 0.3 degrees (like mine have been), or as high as 1 degree (or more). So, for more accuracy I'd go with a BBT.

@nitnat007 - Glad your day has started off better!

@lurvleybunchococonuts - Gifs make the day better. Plus, it helps keep me from using extra words and saying things that are pointless but I feel the need to share them anyway.
Are you planning to test Saturday if AF doesn't show?

@SkilledSailor - Sorry for the BFN! When would you be going to Iceland?

@Dilynne - *hugs* We're here if you need to talk/rant/chat about anything. I hope everything is going okay for you and yours.

@ajsanders-2 - Have you filled a tampon/pad? If you have, it'd be AF. If you haven't, it's spotting.

@doxiemoxie212 - I'm the same way. I'm so used to seeing BFNs, that they don't upset me. I only get upset when AF actually shows. Also, laughing at YH turning on all the lights this morning. Mine would do the same thing if he had to get up and I tried to sleep in (unless it was like 3-4 AM).

@jhysmath - Ooo, TempDrop sounds interesting! I know fishstick-n-custard used the Ava Band and it worked okay for her. You'll have to keep us updated on how the TempDrop works for you at tracking your temps!

@jaylii - I noticed you marked yourself 1 DPO, and you're temping -- keep in mind that it's a temp shift that marks ovulation, not a temp spike. You can have multiple temp spikes and even some fertile CM, but not end up actually O'ing. I'd be a bit hesitant to consider myself in the TWW until my temps confirmed the temp shift. Sorry YH is traveling a lot this week!

@lurveleybunchococonuts @SkilledSailor - Cinnamon raisin bagels are my all-time favourite, but I'm up for anything as long as it has enough cream cheese.

@izza2 - Yeah I have unfortunately. It has just been strange because usually I have some cramps and other symptoms of AF. So boo, I think I am back to CD2. :(

  • @ajsanders-2 - Sorry for CD 1 *hugs*. You're, unfortunately, regular until you're not - and that applies to AF symptoms, as well.

  • @skilledsailor Sorry about the BFN.  Boo!  But a trip to Iceland sounds fun!  I hope you get some good deals :)

@dilynne Glad to see you back, never feel bad about taking a bump break.  It's needed from time to time, also ya know... the real world/face-to-face interactions are slightly more important ;)

@ajsanders-2 GL, hopefully the non-normal cramping is a good sign?  FX no AF!  Lol, I suppose it's not that I don't believe FF, it's just going off past data since I haven't given it anything useful this cycle.  And my cycles aren't "regular" per se.  So *shrug*

@peaceloveandwine GL on not SSing :)  It's so tough some cycles.  Have a blast this wekend!  Whose bridal shower are you attending (family? friend?)?  Yay for no boss, have a great day!

@businesswife Yay med day!  But I am so sorry for your loss :(  All the hugs!  Lol @ your GTKY.  In all honesty that would be my answer too, but I figured he didn't get to count ;)

@paleoprincess Boo at the deadzone classroom, although you might be more productive that way ;)  And yes, the homemade sauce was very good!

@doxiemoxie212 lol at YH veing upset about new spin bikes :D  Sounds like he woke up with a bug up the butt ;)  Hope he gets into a better mood for your sake.  That is so frustrating about your mom.  I admit, I tend to go with the flow on most things, but I've been getting much better at voicing my opinions/wants.  DH really helps/encourages me to do this, he drives me bonkers, but in the end it's so helpful.  I hate(d) being somewhat of a push over.

@mileswithmyles  Wow! that is def a roller coaster. I wish it were the fun kind :)  Hope you feel better soon!  That's cool about potentially going to conference!  And yeah, I get so mad at CC.  I don't play it constantly, I'll go through bursts of playing it a lot and then not at all.  So it kinda evens out in the long run, right?

@nitnat007 Lol I suppose just being Monday counts ;)  Boo at your parking ticket Friday, stupid meter maids ;)  HAHA, that's hilarious about YH being grumpy about Pokemon Go.  MH goes back and replays levels that I beat his score in just to be a snot :D

@jhysmath sorry about the BFN yesterday :(  FX it was just to early!  That is too funny about your student!  GL not getting sucked into it again ;)

    @dukestar5 Hope you're having a blast!

@jaylii Sorry to hear about YH being out of town and your stress :(  That sucks and can be hard, but you're right it's beyond your control.  I hope you're able to focus on some fun things that you want to do while he's away.

@izza2 eww bed bugs, but yay for getting to leave early?  Lol, I haven't decided yet, if I don't have any spotting between now and Saturday yeah, I'll test then.  Also I have a serious problem with rambling on/adding pointless info... maybe I should try gif'ing it out more :D Also yum! It wasn't until I was an adult that I began to appreciate cinnamon raisin bagels. I love bagels with cream cheese,  or butter, or as sandwiches.  I totally gotta go buy some bagels now.

Bed bugs are gross. The LPN put a few of them in a specimen cup, and put it in a biohazard bag, and then left it on my desk for this morning. I don't know why she left them on MY desk, since the office lead was there today, but they were quickly moved elsewhere and my desk was washed very thoroughly. *gag*
And then the LPN float found a live bed bug in one of the exam rooms, and things went quickly downhill from there!

FX for your test day!!

  • @lurvleybunchococonuts I know!! Since last month was our first really TTC I was a SS fiend, just a total maniac, like I'm sure everyone is in their first month. That's part of why I started looking around for boards to join to help keep me somewhat sane! And the bridal shower is for my cousin whose wedding I'm in this October! I love weddings and helping with planning so I'm excited for the shower.

@mileswithmyles hiii DPO twin! Happy 7 days :)

@BusinessWife I'm sorry for your loss!

  • @lurvleybunchococonuts Sorry you're having a frustrating TWW.

@Dilynne I hope everything is ok. Sister bonds always seem so special, like a built in BFF.

@ajsanders-2 Sorry for the confusing spotting.

@peaceloveandwine Yay for no boss today! That's always such a freeing feeling.

@BusinessWife Yay for your meds arriving today! Sorry for you and your H's loss. What a bittersweet day.

@paleoprincess Hope you're enjoying your last day off! Doing anything fun to celebrate/mourn it? We don't have any family in Iceland. We're (theoretically) going with a group of friends and it's the only place all 11 of us agreed on.

@doxiemoxie212 Yes, the BFNs sting but I do like the warning that AF is coming.

@mileswithmyles Either of those places would be fun! Would your company be presenting at the conference or there to learn? TW in spoiler
How's your son doing this week?

@nitnat007 Yes to peeing on all the things. I'm the same way once I start.

@nitnat007 @izza2 Yes! I haven't heard a single person say they didn't like Iceland! No family there but we'll likely go with friends. It would be the last week of March until April 2nd. I'm really hoping we'll still catch the tail end of the northern lights.

@dukestar5  Hope you're having a great trip! Love the book choice!

@izza2  ooh good bagel choice! I'm probably going to have a bagel for lunch now, haha.

And with all those tags, I'm out with CD1. Hope the rest of you waiting to test don't follow me!

  • @SkilledSailor Hugs girl, sorry about the CD1 :(  Stupid twatwaffle Flo!

  • @SkilledSailor we would attend. I presented at one last year and IDK if it's my thing. I get too nervous and self conscious , but I am always up for learning new things as an attendee!  TW [spoiler] it's been okay. He napped both days this weekend, but he was up at 5 again the last three days. Yesterday we told him he needed to go back in his room and he fell asleep until 6:30, so that was an improvement. MIL didn't make him nap yesterday again, so Thursday can't come fast enough. I can't wait for him to start school and have people enforce our (what I consider reasonable) expectations.  I've decided to wait until he's been at school a full week to call the pedi.  I feel like the lack of sleep is catching up with me and is a factor for my sore throat.  Thanks for asking! [/spoiler]

  • @lurvleybunchococonutsDH is so competitive lol. Pokemon is definitely a sore point for him now. He started before me and I am above him in all ways and it drives him nuts. And yes, I love that it drives him nuts.

@dukestar5 I was thinking of you yesterday. Had forgotten you were on a trip. Sorry about AF symptoms. I am having them too. Boo

    @skilledsailro Sorry for CD1.  :(
