I have been missing check-ins because I am clearly still figuring out how this all works on here! I am feeling good - we had a great NT scan and are low risk sonthat is a relief. We also got some super creepy 3D shots of the baby at 12.5 weeks a little while ago. I am always scared that things are amiss because I don't feel that pregnant, but my tummy is growing rapidly so I am trying to just relax.
As for books, I am an avid reader!! Just downloaded The Ministry of Utmost Happiness by Arundhati Roy and Sally Rooney's Conversations with Friends. What do you like to read @SunflowerMama428?

AFM: we just finished our 8 day honeymoon/babymoon cruise to Greece and Italy and we're heading to Barcelona for 2 days. The flight to Greece was rough, with a lot of turbulence and little sleep. I puked twice. Since then, however, the nausea has subsided. We hit the tail end of the "Lucifer" heat wave in Europe, so I made sure to drink a ton of water. I did have cramps a few times, which always makes me nervous. My belly has definitely grown, but I can't tell how much of it is from pasta and gelato, how much is from constipation bloat, and how much is from a baby bump.... we come back to the US Tuesday night and have an appt Wednesday morning. I'm trying to enjoy the moment, but I'm really waiting for that appt....
QOTW: I just read 2 amazing books - The One-In-A-Million Boy by Monica Wood and Homegoing by Yaa Gyasi. I highly recommend both!
AFM, just plugging along. As you can see in my siggy I have fibroids, and have had two surgeries to remove them, so at my NT scan last week the tech found several small (2cm) fibroids on the outside of my uterus. She said they're not in the cavity so pose no threat to the fetus, but they do mean my uterus will be large. H keeps saying my uterus is like a mogul run in skiing, and I keep pointing out that I had it all cleaned out before pregnancy, but this will just give him more fodder for the jokes...
Regarding books, I keep rereading my old favorites because I feel like every time I pick up a new one I'm disappointed. If you haven't yet, check out Sophie Kinsella's books, from the Shopaholic series to everything else. There's one called "Remember Me?" about a woman who wakes up from a head injury to find she's forgotten the last year of her life, and in the last year she completely changed everything about herself so she's the old version of herself in a completely new body/life. It's really good and funny.
