1) How far along are you? How big is baby?
Great. No cravings
3) Do you know baby's sex? Have you started showing?
Ballerina theme
3) Do you know baby's sex? Have you started showing? We're keeping it a surprise til LO arrives. Yes, I'm showing, though it still depends on the outfit how obvious it is

3) Do you know baby's sex? Have you started showing? Boy, and oh yes! My belly is definitely getting rounder and sticking out more. He's also started kicking!

3) Do you know baby's sex? Have you started showing? Baby is a girl - I am showing but it's still not really noticeable unless I want it to be if that makes sense.
ETA - P&Ging for now; I have a work shower for my work nemesis that I am somehow in charge of so I'll be back to respond to everyone in a bit!

@flowerpower5838 ah sorry about the vaca plans but yay! new car!
3) Do you know baby's sex? Have you started showing? It's a girl, and yes showing. Although what's weird is that when I'm wearing my normal clothes (whatever fits, so maybe like a full skirt or something), it's sort of hard to tell. When I wear maternity clothes though, it's SUPER obvious and actually makes me look further along than I am I think.

@cait5413 awesome that your AS went well!
@txmomma16 Ummm I'm pretty sure emergency surgery is the perfect REASON to take a break from online forums where you don't *actually* know anyone! So glad it went well and you're feeling better!
@flowerpower5838 Your birthday sounds like my mothers day was except way more. DH asked what I wanted to do for mothers day and I said "I just don't want to have to make any decisions".... So I get up and the first thing he asks me "So what are we doing today?".... He planned nothing.
1) How far along are you? How big is baby?
Overall pretty well. Still on my butter+peanut butter+jam on toast kick, though I've upgraded to homemade sourdough bread!
3) Do you know baby's sex? Have you started showing?
No idea about this one yet, but DS's room is woodland with pictures of moose, bears, deer and big horned sheep.
3) Do you know baby's sex? Have you started showing? Another baby girl and you can't miss her! I feel giant already (and have already had people say to me "oh wow, you've still got 17/18 weeks left? {insert middle finger emoji here})
Happy Wednesday ladies!!!

I feel pretty good overall. Exhaustion easily sets in but other than that, nothing to complain about this week. Craving all the sugar.
3) Do you know baby's sex? Have you started showing?
DD1 - pink ballerina theme, now she has a 'big girl room' which has no theme, it's really cute though and she helped decorate. One wall is teal with big golden polka dots, and then she has some ballet art around on the walls and a little reading nook.
DD2 - her accent color was purple to differentiate fro big sis. No real theme
This baby - will have an explorer theme, his accent color is Navy
@flowerpower5838 Sorry you had to plan your own birthday! A few years ago, DH wanted to go to Japan (he had been before, but I hadn't). I told him, fine, but you're planning it. (i'm the one who usually plans trips, of course). He got stressed out/didn't want to do it and we ended up using a travel agency to plan us a trip to Costa Rica instead! It was a great trip, but I just think it is funny the one trip he was supposed to take charge of planning, a travel agent did it for him!
@holzie-2 DH is a big Pats fan, too. DD has Patriots onesies and pacis thanks to family and friends on that side--but she also has Saints gear from my side

I'm feeling ok. I've sort of learned my limits regarding activity. Although right now I'm hungry and I can't be bothered to get up off the couch. Lol
3) Do you know baby's sex? Have you started showing?
Haha - DS's theme is "how many toys can I pack into one room and never sleep on the bed because I'm with mom and dad"
DD will not have a theme per say, but I am loving this color scheme:
May Siggy Challenge: TV mom
21 weeks, size of a bottle of sriracha
Still easily tired. extremely sore low back, especially after walking more than 30 minutes or long car rides. Headaches are still fairly frequent. No cravings but really hungry, the weight is definitely creeping up on me now lol!

Last week I had my US. Next Tuesday I have another as the baby is turned backwards and they want to see his face, my GP booked that US. My high risk OB also booked an US Aug. 25 b/c the two offices don't talk to each other.. ughhhh... i'm hoping i can keep the one for next Tuesday as my mom was going to come with me.. we'll see..
So many rants this week. I'll try to keep it short. I'll start with a rave - my gender reveal party went extremely well! it was so much fun. I'm glad we did it.
I started typing my story, but it's far too long and I wouldn't expect anyone to read all the details.. I feel like it's my wedding all over again - people getting offended over decisions that aren't theirs to make. SIL offered and gave me her crib - after the crib traveled 4 hours to get to me, she tells me she's misplaced the screws for it.. Like seriously? why are you wasting my time? I have no intention of using a crib I don't have the pieces for.
This same SIL is throwing a tantrum b/c she wasn't invited to the gender reveal (we did it just for our parents), she lives 4 hours away so it would be a trek to have a piece of cake.. She hasn't spoken to me in 2 years, I wasn't invited to her kid's bday party a month ago, but all of a sudden the tables are turned and that gives her a license to be upset.
I told my mom I'm considering a doula and she immediately went on the defence, apparently she can answer all my questions and her and my MIL can provide me with all the support I could ever want.. She says she's not offended, but it definitely came across like she was and I'm not in the slightest bit surprised. This is exactly why I don't want her with me when I go into labour.. b/c she's going to annoy me, but I get the excitement on her end.
I'm doing an Alice in Wonderland theme. I have murals painted on the wall, my other SIL and her bf are artists so they're helping me paint and they are doing a wonderful job. I think the crib sheets will be standard colours, may red from the queen or blue from Alice's dress.. I'm not worried about a comforter 'cause you can't use them anyway..
I've read all the replies. I won't respond to each one, but I made a registry on June 30. I'm so glad I did, now that I can't really walk or enjoy standing, I'm super glad that's off the list. I've had a few people ask about it so I've given it out on request and someone already bought something off it! I'm super excited about that!
lijuan09 Right there with you on the not looking pregnant to others even though I can tell sentiment. It's extra hard because I'm technically the same weight in this pregnancy at the same point I was in my last, but I haven't really gained this time (I started about 20 pounds heavier). I've got a little bit of that b-belly thing going on and I hate it. I felt so beautiful during DS' pregnancy and I just feel so blah this time. Hugs! We'll "pop" soon enough hopefully.
cait5413 Ha! It seems to be a running trend that some of our DH's just aren't naturally born planners. I just had some friends come back from an extended Asian vacation - I'd LOVE to go to Japan one day!
SoxGirl982 Oh man I am DREADING this. DS has learned the art of tantruming, but has just started to explore screaming at the highest of decibels. This, too shall pas...right?!?!
kvacmak I am right there with you on having a lackluster reaction to others about my own pregnancy. I've never been a SUPER openly emotional person though so I'm trying to just chalk to up to exhaustion and being scared AF to add a second to our shit show lol. But I am definitely dealing with some surprise feelings on having a girl, too. I am excited, I just am having a hard time picturing it I guess. Let me know if you do decide to speak to someone or if you need to chat with someone in a similar boat!
@peachy13 Oh girl I get you with the inlaw thing. My MIL is SOOOO nice and generous, so I feel bad about complaining about her. But the "strings" that sometimes come along with the generousity and the over-bearing nature is just HARD sometimes. Thankfully, we're about 4 hours from our parents now (distance really does make the heart grow fonder), but we're trying to plan an eventual move back home so I am interested to see how that goes...
txmomma16 I am so glad everything went well for you! And that you have such a supportive DH - it really makes all the difference to have someone that is willing to go above and beyond.

@flowerpower5838 thanks for the solidarity points. It does make me feel a bit better to know I'm not alone in my feelings.
Thank you to everyone for your support. It was definitely not the easiest of adventures, but I am certainly glad it’s over.
@balletnerd – FX everything goes great at your next check and there is no placenta previa!
@cait5413 Yay for a great anatomy scan! My Baby was 13 oz at his anatomy scan too!
@flowerpower5838 I am so sorry about your birthday. Your H sounds a little like mine. Amazing in a lot of ways, but maybe not the best planner. YAY for a new car! FX you find what you want easily and don’t get too exhausted!
@peachy13 Your in laws sound frustrating. When my MIL gets like that I always try to remember that her heart is in the right place… even when I really can’t see it.
@kvacmak Did you say PB&J AND butter? Because I have never heard of such a thing but oh man I am intrigued. Also, don’t feel shitty. I’m sure that is normal, but if you think therapy would help you sort out those feelings in a way you’d feel more comfortable, I think that is a great idea. I have done therapy for a lot of things in the past, and it’s usually very helpful.
@soxgirl982 ugh! People who feel they have the right to comment on pregnant bellys should just shove it! I’m sorry you’re already dealing with that.
@holzie-2 It’s funny you mention sports. My mom and her husband are Cowboy’s fans, but my dad is a Giants fan. There has already been discussion about where Baby’s allegiances will lie. (DH and I aren’t big NFL fans and couldn’t care less…)
@disneyfan0511 What do you mean by Explorer Theme? I am intrigued.
@lijuan09 Those colors are gorgeous!
@dilbert890 I’m so sorry you’re struggling with your SIL, that sounds incredibly unfair of her. At the end of the day, I hope you remember that this is your baby, and you (and your H) are the ones that get to make the decisions.

Still debating the doula. The one I met this week was amazing. Very qualified but she's thinking about vacation right before my due date. Given that im high risk i anticipate needing her then. Her partner is much less qualified. At the end of the day... it's a $900 bill and I just don't know if I can or want to justify it. I'm sure i can pick family that can be equally supportive, its just my mom which gets super offended/defensive. She acted offended when I said I wasn't meeting these people, apparently she can answer all my questions, etc.
1) How far along are you? How big is baby?
20 weeks, a banana?!
3) Do you know baby's sex? Have you started showing? It's a girl! But I am the ONLY one who knows. We were team green with my others (DD and DS) and I just felt like knowing, but my DH did not so I'm keeping it to myself.
DD is just girly, pale green walls with pink and purple accents/art. DS is sort of nautical, blue grey walls with a sailboat and whale paintings and navy curtains. I have aspirations of more artwork or accessories but I never get around to painting or buying what I think of. This baby will be in our room for a bit and then I'm
not it's if she'll share with big sis or have her own room, which we'll have to renovate. We'll see how the mood strikes me when design time comes!
3) Do you know baby's sex? Have you started showing? Yup. Boy. Not as much as I'd like. I just feel fat mostly.
