  • I finally got some energy back this weekend to do laundry and stuff around the house. But my nausea finally got the best of my cleaning out the bathroom and he gladly took over after I bathed the dogs. He did it without a fuss, changed the laundry over, helped with the dishes and made sure I was taken care of. He also fixed the door to my closet that wasn't staying latched shut and now it does! It's the little things that make you really appreciate your SO!
  • Oh this thread is lovely !  Today my husband took my car and was out way longer than he planned. I couldn't face eating anything in the house and just wanted some toast, but couldn't go to store to get any. When he finally come home, I basically burst into tears! Haha. Poor guy prob had no idea what was going on, finally realized I hadn't eaten anything and promtly made me food did my work clothes laundry and went to the grocery store and picked out foods I would be willing to eat.
all while he let me veg on the couch cuz the exhaustion hit hard again today.
  • My husband, who has been waking me up a thousand times a night with his snoring, has purchased a neti pot in the hopes of alleviating the problem. He has volunteered to sleep on the couch tonight so I can get some rest.
  • My SO has taken over so much parenting. I'm basically useless as of late. He gets up with our son and gives him breakfast while I sleep, then I'm home with him during the day doing the bare minimum, and he totally takes over when he gets home from work. And all weekend. I need to get it together, but I'm just soooo TIRED. I'm so excited for some energy 2nd tri.

my H has made me breakfast in bed almost every single morning since I hit 6 weeks. On a few occasions where I had to be up and out  of the house early ... he hasn't... but whose complaining? he is doing 100% of the cooking right now and I love him for it.
  • My DH held me last night while I cried from being slightly overwhelmed. Then he talked to the baby and told him/her how much he loves them and us and our little family. *cue tears*
  • My husband and I just bought a new house and moved and my energy and motivation to unpack are just not there. I have to admit that he is normally a pretty lazy person around the house but he has been awesome at getting all of these boxes unpacked and taking care of things around the house!
