1) How far along are you? How big is baby? 23 weeks! The size of a chinchilla or a grapefruit

2) How are you feeling? Great!

3) Do you know baby's sex? Have you started showing? Girl! Yep!

4) Any appointments this week/last? Anatomy scan last week. It went well other than we have to go back for more images of the heart. They just couldn't see all of it.

5) Rants/Raves/Questions? I am finally feeling the baby move some! I have an anterior placenta so that's causing me to not feel much.

6) GTKY: Did you have a nickname growing up? If so, please share! Do you want your child to have a nn? Yep, Katie Bean. It stuck with me all through high school and my parents still call me bean on occasion. I assume my baby will have a few nicknames, just because I always call my nieces cutesy names. Maybe they will get a specific nn that will stick, but who knows.

I am so so sooooooo glad it's Friday. And not just for our ticker change. Here's hoping for generous naps and restful weekends for all. (Can you tell I'm sleep-challenged this week?)

1) How far along are you? How big is baby? 23 weeks. Grapefruit.

2) How are you feeling? Exhausted, but otherwise pretty ok.

3) Do you know baby's sex? Have you started showing? Boy, and yep.

4) Any appointments this week/last? We had a check in Monday, which feels forever ago right now, and everything's going great. Nothing til the end of the month, except my super fun 1hr glucose challenge.

5) Rants/Raves/Questions? I know we're all counting down to babies, but for the next four days I am counting down to AC. It gets installed next Tuesday and they said we'd be able to use it the same night... If that's true, there's just 4 more sleepless nights due to temperature left in this summer. Also, DH gets all the credit. I handed him a list of vetted vendors and he took care of it from there.

6) GTKY: Did you have a nickname growing up? If so, please share! Do you want your child to have a nn? My family called me Steffie when I was little, which I hated intensely. Then it became Stef, which is okay. The Germans in my life started calling me Steffi, which is less annoying ... because of the accent? And my dad occasionally calls me Fred, usually when we're about to do some stereotypical father/kid stuff like wrench on cars or fix sprinklers or paint things or drive something too fast for local ordinances. I have no idea where Fred came from. We'll probably call LO by a shortened for of his name (Alex instead of Alexander) but without any cutesy diminutives. If we ever have a DD, our favorite girl name, Katiana, would shorten to Katja.

1) How far along are you? How big is baby? 21 weeks today!

2) How are you feeling? Alright. My back is starting to hurt, so I think a chiro appt is in order soon.

3) Do you know baby's sex? Have you started showing? Team green and yes, totally showing.

4) Any appointments this week/last? Met with the doc yesterday, went over anatomy scan results. Baby is doing great right on track, my cervix however is shorter than normal at 2.7. They scheduled me for a follow up u.s. next week (transvaginal thankfully) to get a better scan/measurements. Fingers crossed it's back over 3. Either way i'm probably on pelvic rest now the remainder of the pregnancy (no sex).

6) GTKY: Did you have a nickname growing up? If so, please share! Do you want your child to have a nn? I did not have a nickname. I'm ok with my kids having one as long as it isn't something weird that sticks. lol.

honestly have resigned myself to the fact that I may be sick this whole pregnancy. I will just enjoy the good days that I do get but no longer getting my hopes up that I've "beaten" HG

He's a very active little boy who currently has his days and nights mixed up. Showing more now - I got my first "how many is in there?" Comments this week ..

None until 8/22

my newest nephew could be here any day so I'm excited about that!! Get some newborn time in before this LO is born Bc I'm feeling like a FTM again...I hope it just all floods back to me lol

people just called me "D" and still do. My sons name is Jameson so we call him "Jamo" or "J". I love nicknames. I'm not sure what the nn for this LO will be

21 weeks/ endive (whatever that is)

2) How are you feeling?
pretty good. I still have me uggggg moments. Extremely tired this week because I started back to workn even have some swelling by the end of the day.

3) Do you know baby's sex? Have you started showing?

yes another girl. A little. Some days are bigger than others.

Nope. Not til August 23

@Marley629 i felt the same way with my last pregnancy. I finally stopped getting sick around 28 weeks! So there's hope.
